(Is that weird? My last grandparent died when I was like 4 so I've never really known life with grandparents)
What will they actually remember you for and tell their grandchildren about you?
"Grampa sure loved to tell us super corny jokes."

I didn't miss it, I'm just having trouble coming up with 3 whole wishes! (That aren't of the "world peace" variety, because those are boring.)
dunya wrote: Tue Apr 03, 2018 5:48 am how did you propose to your wife, or how did your wife propose to you? :)
We were living in separate states at the time, so she came in to visit for our anniversary. I made her dinner, then put up a video of the night sky on the TV (she likes stargazing) and we slow danced to a couple of her favorite songs, then I proposed.

Then (after we called parents and stuff) we watched like 3 hours of say yes to the dress.

Mmm tough question. Yes but it's a tough answer because you run into exploitation problems. If somebody is doing it because they actually want to, that's fine with me. But if they're being coerced by a significant other / acquaintance / family member it's obviously problematic.

I don't know that I really had one? I did the standard "pretend to be a sports star" stuff as a kid, but I'm not sure if I ever thought I would actually be one when I grew up. For a while I wanted to be an editor, I guess.

I listen to a lot of different stuff. My go-to Pandora stations are Childish Gambino and Blackstar, but I also have a Dead South station to switch it up. I don't mind pop on the radio while driving, although there's certain artists/types I don't care for (Drake, for example). Sometimes I'll go back to 90s alt rock for a bit too, as a change of pace.

No, that's from a while ago, although we actually did get snow this morning. We're not sure exactly how old he is, when we adopted him they thought he was 4-5, and that was 4 years ago this summer.

Thanks for answering this week's questions colonialbob, and feel free to come back with your three wishes whenever you decide on them. :p it's always a pleasure playing/talking with you!

sprityo Interrogation

For the next interrogation, let's welcome Syndicate regular and Socky Award winner sprityo to the hot seat! Apart from playing some games with sprityo, and watching Phenom 1 and 2 which he hosted, I actually don't know much about him. So I can't wait till ya'll get those questions rolling in.

sprityo, to get things started: what are your top 3 go to bands?

Since you're in the US army, that much I do know! I think, how many different places have you been stationed at?

what do you do in the army? what made you decide to join?

Where in the US are you from originally? What's the best and worst thing about that place?

do you have any siblings?

how do you feel about long distance relationships?

come on, guys, let's welcome sprityo to the hotseat with a round of fun questions!

Hello hello everyone! let's get started

Top 3 bands are Young the Giant, Two Door Cinema Club, and Passion Pit. For EDM/Dubstep my top 3 is Savant, Zomboy, and Pegboard Nerds

Not many places actually ive only been in service for almost 2 years now. Ive been to South Carolina for BCT, Georgia for job training, and am stationed until further notice in middle of nowhere Oklahoma :p

My job regards signal communications, so telephones and internet setup and connecting it all, albeit i havent done that specific aspect of my job since i arrived in oklahoma. Ive been resigned to a typewriting middleman of sorts. I joined 100% for schooling which ill be starting some online classes this summer to get a head start.

Im actually from Texas, not even 2.5 hours away from where im stationed. So much for seeing the world right? haha. Texas is amazing and you cannot tell me otherwise :mafia: okay maybe its got some crazy weather and allergies suck for me but thats it

I have a younger sister who is turning 14 in 4 days, its too bad im leaving the day before though so an early "happy birthday" will have to do.

I think it's what you make of it. Theyre hard no doubt, ive never really had a relationship with someone for more than a couple months and theyve almost always been at least an hour away driving time. If youre going for a long distance relationship, expect it to be more casual than anything.

“Sprityo” comes from “Sprite” which is an object or character used in animation or game design. And I threw on some random letters to make it cool. It stuck

coffee or tea?

do you prefer to be town or scum in mafia?

what's your favorite game till today that you played in?

OT intereogation room talk, the biggest bastard role i've ever played as was as gwilikers' lover. The theme was vampires vs humans. I was Edward and he was Bella. He knew I was a vampire. Vampires were mafia. He was town. The game lasted about a half hour.

Well the latest addition to my 5 stars has been Why Don't You Play in Hell? Completely over the top wacky absurdity from the most interesting director working right now imo.

I graduated with a very reluctant degree in English. I went to college with the idea of being an English teacher, and soon realized that I would hate doing that. So I figured I had already put the money in and might as well finish, although I've always regretted going to college. I do not use my degree and have no real intention of using it.

I guess I prefer tea, but I drink coffee every day and tea less often. Convenience is the name of the game.

I definitely prefer being scum, although it hasn't happened too often in my time playing mafia. I have always been awful at scum hunting and don't like the pressure of having to make decisions about who is scum and who is town. I'm a lot better at making bullshit cases when scum than I am at making real cases as town. Plus, I'm almost never suspected by anyone when I play mafia, regardless of alignment, so that helps.

I had a really good time in the celebrity game that Choutas hosted on RYM. It's been the only time I've really masterminded a game as scum and singlehandedly propelled my team to victory. And also since you guys are bringing it up, the Twilight game was a blast even though it was a bit broken. I really miss the behind-the-scenes networking of the early RYM games, even though I realize it probably gave town an unfair advantage.

It’s hard not to just say mafia, but I suppose I can expand on that a bit. The best thing about RYM OT was that it was a community of cool dudes on a website I’d be using daily regardless. I just don’t care enough to take that extra step to visit an offshoot forum or anything these days. It was nice to have the majority of my internet going-ons in one place. But yeah I really loved the community we had back in the mafia heyday, and met a bunch of super cool people.

Man, I've been using this username since I started playing Runescape like 15 years ago. I have no idea why I chose it, I must have just thought gee willikers was a funny thing to say at the time.

I've got pretty simple hobbies. Music, film, reading, sports, food, and beer should about cover it.

I try to be as apolitical as possible, so I really don’t like getting into questions like these, but I am pessimistic by nature and do not believe the world is going on a good direction.

I live in New Hampshire. Live free or die, motherfuckers!! It’s...alright. I love not having a state income tax. Hate the winter and how there’s not a lot of stuff to do. Best thing about it would probably be the White Mountains. I’m not the most outdoorsy guy but there’s certainly a lot of cool nature stuff around here. The worst thing about it is definitely the opioid crisis we’re having, cuz that’s really depressing.

Anything with a lot of chunks/pieces/swirls/whatever in it! I’m obsessed with Ben and Jerry’s, if I had to pick one of theirs I’d go with Boom Chocolotta Cookie Core. I eat way too much ice cream.

I’m definitely a beer boy through and through, so I rarely get cocktails, but I am partial to the occasional White Russian.
