Well in my forum when the host can't find a replacement they just kill the player.
I reckon this might not happen here.
3 replacements isn't too hard to find though. It is done eventually.

Anybody who is actually posting so the interactions between them and other players actually give us clues.Fredwood wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 5:20 pm+1. Phenom as well. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 5:04 pm I think voting for people who didn't even post is a waste. They are likely to get replaced eventually. We learn next to nothing from those lynches.
Mass Effect was partially determined by some weak replacement of townies.
I had a hell of a hard time finding mafia in the last Hybridity game as two of the four mafia members replaced out and basically got to skate for ~4 phases.
With 24 hour phases, is a prompt replacement realistic?
Who's lynch so you think we'd learn the most from at this point? Already knowing my alignment and having not tied any two other players together, a silent lynch tells me roughly the same thing as any other, that is "the alignment of a player."
Of course, there's stuff yet to be learned in the actual choosing of a specific player.
An inactive lynch is perfectly acceptable, from even just watching champs and the few other places I've played, if you don't really learn a lot from other lynches. If all your choices are low info lynches, lynch the inactive.
DDL if you want us to lynch an non inactive, tell me which lynch you think nets us the most information?

I don't know that answer. Would depend on who votes to whom.Fredwood wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 7:22 pm Day 1 votes are the most WIFOMy lynches ever usually takes like 3 votes anyway. On top of that no posters probably haven't evolved or won't evolve.
So even if they're town, not only will they screw up EOD, we're gonna spend most of the game underpowered.
Also, DDL, your answer avoided the question. I said who, not theoretically who. Who do you wish to lynch, Boo Wilgy, Jack, or LC, and what do you think theIR flip will tell you in day 2?

Re: Pokemon Mafia [Day 1]
Will depend on how he defends himself, who defends him, who attacks him, how they attack him.
There is a whole argument that can sprinkle from a Timmer lynch since he's here to defend himself. And there are people who may have read his posts and read him as town, or want to pretend to read him as town.
With an inactive, there is no argument. We just lynch our inactive of choice, and go home peacefully.

Re: Pokemon Mafia [Day 1]
My opinion with the inactive issue is that if they don't come by day 2 the host should just kill them all.
Epi will probably not do it, but he will probably replace them, and statistically it's not that hard to get 2 people. When he does, everything goes to normal.
Lynching them now is rushing things. Heck, it's a easy way for mafia to get a vote without having to confront anyone, which they hate. They don't even have to justify this vote.

I was going to give my votes to Speed or LC anyway since I have been getting strong civ vibes from them; they just decided to make it into some official thing that I'm benefitting from by getting two evo points tonight. I'm happy to agree to that, because I think my role could be a pretty helpful one when it evolves. I have made no explicit promises to stay in their exchange for more than two nights, but I might if I continue to trust them. Boo has been willfully misinterpreting everything I have said on this topic.

He thinks like my civ meta.
He is aggressive and doesn't seen to care whether people are reading him bad or not. He just picked a target and wants to take her down. He seems to be showing confirmation bias, which is a sign of an error but not of bad alignment.
He saw the cooperation plan as suspicious and trying to find scum among the ones making it.
Mafia tends to have a sense of self-image imo, they don't pick fights that will make them look worse.
I'm not sure if I agree with his posts, but I think he is making them from a civ perspective.

Speedchuck - because we're CPI buddies
Dom - because I'm afraid of Dom. Always.
Jack - because I "like" jack as a person
DrWigly - because he's a doctor
LC - because I like LC as a person
Mac - because I haven't seen Mac in forever it feels like
DDL, DF, Hazelnut, you had all 3 chosen Gman. Why G-man in specific.
Sprityo, in regards to your list specifically, you and Jack were the only ones to list me. Why did you choose me? beyond that of "he's a doctor?" Am I still on that list? Why did you choose Dom and Mac as one only posted today, and the other is still out?
There are more players that I no idea what to think than players who I have thoughts on. I'd say the null and void atm are DF, Dom, Eloh, G-Man, Mac, Neverwhere, Sprit and Tink. From all of you, can you let me know which player you find the most interesting, and why?
And for now...
Adios muchachos.
Gman is the same above. Not much to say since it was day 0 so there wasnt much to go on.

You spoke more about mafia theory and side-bar stuff on Day 1 than anything with teeth. On Day 2, you gave me one poke about my NK analysis and then disappeared, only to come in at the end of the day, expressing dismay at having no choice but to vote for one of Timmer or Boo because they were the top trains. You also tried to angle it as if my abstention was forcing us into a coin-flip (without even understanding how Epi and Simon break lynch ties).
Dude, I once posted in nothing but pics and memes for a whole game because I wanted to. Same goes for the time I posted like a Magic 8-Ball. Or the time I posted like the Old Spice guy (the man your man could smell like). Or the time I played in character as Dr. frickin' Evil. It's a free internet. Everyone still had a choice at the end of Day 2. My actions didn't force you or anyone else to do anything. Saying otherwise is just trying to pass the buck.
Speaking of my NK analysis, I still maintain that Jack's murder wasn't smart. Unless the baddies killed Jack because he came out and said that, despite all the argle-bargle with DDL, he thought DDL was civ, it's an unforced error. The only benefit to come out of it was getting rid of the most talkative player. Around here, talkative and sharp players don't get taken out right away or JaggedJimmyJay would be the first NK every time. That's why I think it makes sense for someone from Jack's or another mafia culture to be behind that. Perhaps they have a teammate that is barely around to bounce ideas off of. Whatever the case, it quieted down the thread and achieved little else.
That's one of the most basic reasons to kill anyone.

Re: Pokemon Mafia [Day 3]
Voting Dizzy. Her disappearance after making a million posts about game mechanics irks me.
