Which game was this, Pawn? If you have a tell to read Creature by, I sure as hell haven't spotted it. Care to point it out to me?

Color Wheel Team Mafia. It's that one where it was Wyatt, Rosen, and myself on one of the scum teams. When elections were going on at the time and I actually forgot I was playing for my second round through due to lack of sleep and a overfocus.

And I'll admit I'm not quite sure how to articulate it. Just a combination of it being a striking exact example of how he had been playing and reading through Anni where he was scum and strikingly different in his approach if I had to guess.

My issue is that this isn't enough for me to normally give even a town lean like I have on him now. And I'm trying to figure out why my gut is pushing this one so hard.

By D2 for close observation and D3/4 for more casual observation imo.

Oh totes. The question is who is truthful and who is TMIing. Considering like half of the players have posted at least some reads by now. And that is something that will take a bit to figure out frankly due to needing more data points and associatives to work with. So it can be a concern but not one that should be at the forefront of your mind until at least D1 starts.

1, no I am sadly not scum. I wanted to break my recent town streak but that didn't come to fruition.

2, I still maintain that this isn't that strong of a question line, since it is more of a way to gauge a player's personality rather than actually getting a proper alignment read out of it. And a player's personality naturally comes out during a game regardless. So if you have nothing else to post at the time it can be okay, but most of the time I view it as more of a timewaster than something actually hlpful.

Nah, I get what you're going for with the question, I know you've explained it before. I just don't agree with it.


And with Mac, once I control for a lot of the forced happiness as a thing from actually being the one to recruit a lot of people (frankly it's either that or a hint at his character claim and it has been confirmed characters are randomized so ultimately it's just a distracting NAI), I get a null+ read.

Since he does have some small pingy posts such as when Dragomir does his #750 TMI post and Mac recently posted basically a remash of the post in #974 (this being t/w has some decent equity off this), but for the most part I see some defensiveness which is NAI considering his generally abrasive nature. Plus some attempts at scum hunting and questioning that are heavily laden with snark and sarcasm that seem to have some genuine thought behind them when examined closely.

In regards to Radishes and Hyena.

You have a ridiculous number of players TRing you on the surface of it compared to how many view your play. The idea behind it is that there is likely both scum hopping on this train TMIing you and that the town players TRing you are all looking at similar key playstyle sections and having definitive town reads. With this meaning something important based on difficulty in having solid reads this early and being a good sign for you.

Well everyone says you have godly tone for a reason. So while I think that putting you as lock town is too far, too quick, I would put you as a town lean for a combo of it and genuinely good insights with interesting thought routes.

Super don’t like this on principle for half a dozen reasons but I think the data would show that town tries to set up lynch chains like this more than scum does. I cannot tell you how many times I build a case off something like this and it’s complete garbage because WIFOM scum knows better than to put themselves in that trap. However when combined with the “Eva raises a good point” thing I’m still inclined to call it a very scummy post.

Okay, jokes aside for one moment. :v is generally meant to be a joking manner or tone, so when I was saying Hyena is pinned it was meant to be a joke.

However, I already independently scum read Hyena at this point considering my vote on him. So while while it is a joke, there is undertones of my belief scattered through it.

And on the lynch train idea? Hell no, I don't ever finalize lynches a day beforehand. Actually auoting out lynches is how town loses games.

Yeah, I'm absolutely going to float and take convenient potshots today. I fully admit to not playing this particularly hard because I don't have the time to right now. Right now I'm in a cycle of skim the game, work on my essay that is due tomorrow, repeat cycle.

So two conflicting views null out.

Currently have this as a null - and their current position is currently tied directly to the opposite end as Juliets.

I'm trying to figure out what Hyena's bobble on Epi means now that Epi's posting and seems towny. If epi town, hyena bobble is... what? NAI?

#1139 is the vote, drops off in #1164 following your lead onto longcon.

Okay, looking through and honestly? The bobble does seem like a NAI thing for now until we get more data later on. Since it could be Hyena being opportunistic or just being whimsical and I'm not sure which yet. And the Longcon is literally the easiest thing in the world to freely vote for. Either for light pressure to forcibly suggest the player should start posting as town or with a inactive scummate. And then there is just trying to be opportunistic and pushing for a free ML.

This doesn't really change my view on Hyena at all and most gives minor potential partner equity, which still is not enough to actually go off of for Longcon obviously.

She makes charts all the time regardless of alignment. There's many things she does that are AI, this isn't one of them.

And hm. Would it be angleshooting to check spec chat if she spectated D1 of finals? Since Eva did a lot of them there so if she watched that game she shouldn't be asking this question as town.

I'll say you're wrong but I'll take the compliment freely, since that implies that I'm able to see in advance that Eva would go for that read type and specifically engineer the read list off of a list that she had posted like 12 hours before and adjust it for expected changes. Aka I would be a mafia god, and I'm good sure, but I'm not that good.

And as potential scum teammates I still haven't rolled with her sadly, but I like to think I would have held her back from going for something this aggro this early.

you are just reposting our read lists and coming to some conclusions without any explanation

I doublechecked my read list against pawn's because I know he's good at reading games, and usually does so fairly truthfully regardless of alignment. His reads agree with mine, and disagree with yours. That says I'm not just playing badly; you're scum.

Most your agreed upon scum are just low posters...

I explicitly noted in my list that the null posters are null - until they actually have enough content to read.

I think she was more looking at general trends within the upper end, ie those that are both within the rough null + section and seeing that our people within that range all match up fairly well.

I've only ever actually played with him one time, Color Wheel Mafia. Where he left a fairly significant impression as to his town play style, especially after I spectated Anni and hated myself for reading every post. There was some fairly striking differences between the two. And I've seen him in one or two other games but I fully admit that I don't remember which.
