I’m not generally one for individual post construction, but it’s ... interesting ... (someone kill me) that the first half has no punctuation and the latter half does. That shows different curator styles, or that both parts were written separately, or its a player thing I don’t understand because I’ve never played with spiny creature before. Slight lean scum though for the first possibility: in a normal world town would never make such a mentality shift from one half to another, but there are conceivable reasons. The second and third possibilities are NAI.

Re: Inception [Hypnagogic Phase]
Fair I guess but it’s also see Drago’s point. Iaafr threw out a rainbow with maybe half a dozen controversial reads. I think it’s town because of this shift on Mac and 112, plinko theory suggests that scum doesn’t make such significant shifts like that without a clearer game planEvenstar wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 1:39 pmI super question how badly this list is off. JJJ suggested role-playing your character in the OP as just something fun to do.juliets wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 12:21 pmThanks Drago I'll think through this while eating lunch.Dragomir wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 12:04 pmOk @juliets since you're confused lemme clear up my suspicion against 112. So my belief of there being fake character claims came from this post. The roleplaying character thing pings me hard for reasons being that there's a manipulative edge to it. I only see one perspective to why someone would do this is the scum perspective. Role-play your character in order to make it more believable if you got to claim it. Get ppl in the mindset that your character is this person thus clouding them from looking too much into the actual claim.
There's no town perspective to it imo. Why should town bother themselves with roleplaying their character? All I can see it is for manipulative purposes to set something up in the future. Unless your role requires the role-play, which I don't think is the case for 112 here.
For example, let's say 112 is role playing the character "loneliness" and she later claims she is "loneliness". What does that tell us exactly? Not her alignment, nor her abilities since there is no correlation. So it tells us nothing, the way I see it.
But no one else seems confused by this, just me, so I don't want to belabor the point. I'll think further on it as we go forward.
"Characters are randomized and have no connection to role abilities. You can even role play if you like."
So I read that as you can't tell from the character what the role abilities are.
A game was designed with blank power roles associated with alignment
Then 29 characters were completely randomly matched to roles

Iirc, roles were themey, not randomized.
I read the setup as like “cop” doesn’t necessarily apply to a town character who is good at catching baddies. A random town character is the cop.
Not like mashes where half the scumteam is good guys and half is bad guys cause the flavor is randomized.

how do you have a strong favorite read of iaafr but "who dat" 112 when all of iaafr's meaningful posts/interactions were with 112 lol this read fake
I've been reading and avoiding posting until I finished catching up, bc sleepy and not feeling chatty tbh. but this one stuck out enough to need to reply in the moment.
The second and third possibilities are NAI.
and as for the first paragraph: yeah it was weird. I stand by that. missing all of the 112/iaafr pocket-not-pocket conversation means you skimmed the thread, so even if it's true you missed forming an impression on iaafr it was weird to me to then have 10 different reads if you hadn't read a great deal.
I didn’t skim. I read the posts. I registered what was being said. I had no opinion.

Someone or preferably multiple someones give me a 50 or less words summary of why Hyena is (or isn’t) scum and everything else of import in this situation

Super don’t like this on principle for half a dozen reasons but I think the data would show that town tries to set up lynch chains like this more than scum does. I cannot tell you how many times I build a case off something like this and it’s complete garbage because WIFOM scum knows better than to put themselves in that trap. However when combined with the “Eva raises a good point” thing I’m still inclined to call it a very scummy post.Pawn Lelouch wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:50 pmSorry mate, you've been pinned. :vHyena wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:47 pmNo uEvenstar wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:45 pm[VOTE: Hyena] aubergineHyena wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:34 pmRight here. :PSpiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:54 pm
@PawnLelouch (hopefully that has no spaces, if it does i give up on tagging) not to repeat d1 of finals, but what's your read on Eva rn? I see that you are in more heat than she is but I am far from caught up and left before you showed up at all.
(via Google translate) "Pawn has more heat, so let me give my scum partner, who I'm townreading, a chance to be towny by talking about Eva right now."
This spiny case is bullshit and I don't see what you're doing otherwise. Also you dropped off the Epi vote super fast as soon as it started to gain traction.
That ain't a hyena, it's a wolf.
And yeah, if you are scum then Epi is a major source to look at tomorrow. Eva raises a good point on wagon momentum.

However, I already independently scum read Hyena at this point considering my vote on him. So while while it is a joke, there is undertones of my belief scattered through it.
And on the lynch train idea? Hell no, I don't ever finalize lynches a day beforehand. Actually auoting out lynches is how town loses games.
That was me pointing out a conditional associative based on something that another player pointed out, that once I saw, I agreed with.
1) jokes aside is bad Town don’t put aside jokes and act calm
2) nothing wrong with first sentence or suspicion on Hyena though I guess what I was calling into question was not made clear
3) yes duh on lynch train but the suggestion was there. Town has no reason to make a suggestion they don’t believe (well I mean they do but not in this case), scum wants to at least check the grounds for priming an Epi lynch is my thinking.
4) sure I guess it’s fine I just don’t like the phrasing but for players I’m unfamiliar with again I’m not going to die on a phrasing case

2. I fully expected this game to be chill. Several people said they were gonna phone it in and have fun. I didn't anticipate getting attacked for being relaxed and was not mentally prepared for it. I prepared myself for the champs games. Those are not my usual mode at all. I rarely if ever top post in games on here. Also I have been phone posting and it's been the weekend and I've been trying to enjoy my beers, bbq and pool time while playing. I was frustrated because people were suspecting me for irrational reason on day 0 when I didn't want to have to take this game seriously. I can't help myself sometimes though.
3. I ... don't think this is actually true?
4. How does this make me scum? You are making such basic reads. I can vote for whoever I want, whenever I want. All that matters is where my vote ends up. This is why i think you are bad. You are not considering your opinions, you are just making them.

Mac if it’s cause I’m blendy and being lazy that’s correct but I’d point out that for one reason or another I haven’t yet discovered the secret to coasting as scum and also there are 30 people in this game and I subbed in I didn’t quite prep for this mental energy

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 1]
I think the animals and iaafr are most likely town out of those with some votes,
I tend to always scumread Epi and then call myself good at it when I’m right,
Mac seems town but there’s nothing distinguishing there which isn’t particularly concerning.
And I’m voting for Pawn so I think that’s a good option.
No opinion on sprit, nova, or Eva.
