I think "you clearly have never" implies there is some point in the past where you hadn't played the game which does sort of go along with your poetic distortion because the only reason you could need to distinguish that from "you have clearly never" is if it was possible for you to have not played the game yet at some point in the past when it could have been played, then played it later

in that case I think it should be "you clearly had never", and that isn't what you were trying to say anyways, but yes, with a little artistic freedom, this checks out to me

in other words "you had never played x at time y" is only a sensible statement if x is playable at different times

the "never" is another clue that this is what you mean

The read is probably not accurate because Mizery was in the same game as me and I'm pretty sure we were both prioritizing that game at least 10x more since it was an invitational with a stacked playerlist. It's almost exclusively fluff posts + lists of names with no explanations.
Town Illwei has significantly more depth of thought than that. Wolf Illwei is prone to doing just that.

because I was quite content to town read mizery and then you had to go and blow it all up.

Here's some of HK's progression on Mizery. He town reads her pretty fast in the beginning.
However, when Lag questions her on D2, he looks quite content to build up under that suspicion. He says that Lag's account for Mizery's wolf play tracks accurately with this game. And the sentence "because I was quite content to town read mizery and then you had to go and blow it all up." just doesn't read like something you would say if you had tmi that she was mafia.

The whole thing just reads like a TMI read of Mizery as town based on little, but being happy when she is suspected.

I kind of want to just sheep Mac until F3 and then just policy him if he wasn't able to find a wolf the entire time until then. My concern would be he would kill me the night before F3 and then hope someone lol~willages and doesn't policy him when he'd have no business being alive

I think this is absolutely what we should do. We just need to make sure everyone is primed and mac himself agrees to the plan

Me not finding suspects and imploding because of it is a staple of my town play. It happened in champs. It happens all the time. I want people to be town when I'm town. Even more than before, I feel mafia is a silly game, cause we go off accusing each other, and most of it is probably delusion and crap. I don't even know why I get so upset. Or rather, I get upset, cause if it's one thing I can avoid it's getting needlessly mischop for literally no fucking reason.

I admit I have not solved the game excellently. I'm not claiming to. I sheeped Sean (and even Mac's complaint actually) on Falcon after reviewing Falcon again. Because Sean is just better than me at reads.

I'm going to get my shit together though. Because I'm not actually a bad player. I just get annoyed and tell myself I can't do anything.

Lack of confidence in reads doesn't mean you're doing worse than other players, it just means you're not feeling pressured to inflate your confidence. Ground state? We are all just as lost as you are. You just keep doing you okay
