That's an excellent question. I'm still struggling with it myself, but I find myself wishing I hadn't killed Wilgy. Honestly, it's the guilt that gets me. That and we could've just lost a very high reputation civvie. So I think I'm with the older players, and THAT is probably because I was raised by one of the older players and somewhere in there I was taught 'killing people is bad'. So, I would probably have Wilgy alive still.

Are you actually falling back on that? Do you do that every game? I doubt it.

The only reason I reminded Golden was that he was trying to guilt me out over suspecting you, and I was fairly sure why. You think that's why I shouldn't suspect you? You think we should be able to do things that people find suspicious and fall back on this? I am disappoint.

I am leaving my vote where it is. I will not vote for you again unless it is a group consensus, or question you, for that matter.

Have a good evening :)
not every game, but I've had it once with seanzie, furthermore I'm not falling back on it at all what the hell you talking about? I've told you to consider that but to keep the read, how in the fuck is that "falling back"???? why are you engaging in blatant bad faith with everything I've said and done

no of course not, I literally told you to "not drop the read" why are you acting like I said something different

So sorry for my absense. I did indeed miss that a) the game had started or b) i was actually playing! thanks again for the heads up!

As would be expected, I lost my day off yesterday and my open today has turned into an O/C so I will do my best to participate as best i can - just know my work is both physically and mentally exausting. And also apparently life consuming.

As for what I do remember -

Lots of inactive - myself included.

I saw exactly where svs was coming from. Tbh untill very recently in the thread I was proably going to vote sean. I am willing to see though that I may have just had a harder time seeing where he was coming from as this is my first game with sean.

My strongest town reads are shockingly - svs and kate. I know everyone is suprised by this.

Golden feels different this time round than last. I like that - doesnt mean he is clear yet.

Similarly - scotty feels similar to early last game - i like that too. Doesnt mean he is clear yet.

I like that roxy pushed golden some. I like that she called out splintsy and I.

Mata is engaging and that is so wonderful! Glad to see you again lady!!!

Jack and dennis are fun addutions. Welcome gentlemen!

Marrmot is bring very marrmoty. Excpected. I fear him. Gonna take some time before I think I could trust him.

Honestly not sure about most everyone. Which sucks as I have to vote before my dinner break is over in like 30 odd minutes.

I hate when rl makes me this lame. 2 games in a row is super frustrating.
2 reads, svs and Kate, there's 0 other substance to this post, how is it high effort or substantive?

But right now I am here trying to decide if and where I should move my vote, so again, who else would you have me vote for and why?
well currently the wagons are sabi/seanzie and I'd be down for a seanzie vote for aforementioned reasons

and you totally didn't read or understand my logic whatsoever

also do you disagree with my logic?
1) poke into the family
2) if I judge there's scum between the 3 they'll easily be able to find them, via best reads on one another
3) if they're all town, then I can confidently clear all 3 and form a townblock

like seriously, when did I ever fucking sus them unnecessarily and what is the scum motive?

at least this is the reasoning, it's not gonna apply to me at all for the foreseeable future
Now see, this makes you look MORE bad to me, trying to dismiss my concerns as trivial and not thought out. And that is not the case. I am thinking of just leaving the vote where it is, you're not in any danger.

While I appreciate Seanzies vouch, sometimes you need to make up your own mind.
no, you misunderstand me. I'm saying your concerns are actually valid and correct. However I will show you depth of thought and good analysis now, which will make your previously valid concerns inert, sorry it came off like that

My list of them also goes Kate > jack > Dennis…
Jack and Dennis are going to be tough unripened apricots to crack. As introductory mafia games go, strategy and meta haven’t been established and what probably looks suspicious in a seasoned player might just be reaching to gain a footing in the game. I’ve been there. I foresee them going quite a ways in the game (unless they get NK’d, which I think is poor form early on) unless something sticks out like a sore thumb.
really?

more town

Dennis
Jack
Kate

more scum

I have a cold read on Dennis, and I have no read on jack, I just expect him to make his alignment obvious soon enough, whereas Kate is opaque and will be the hardest to read (though I have no read there currently, besides seeing that she's a good player)

How are you all playing this? Like are you going into other rooms to read the thread and post just so you don't give away facial expressions?
you make facial expressions when you play? I rarely ever make facial expressions because of mafia

And you know baddies can be frustrated, too.
If it helps, Lucy did something similar to me one time, even to the point where I had a similar reaction to Dennis. I think Lucy was town then. I'd guess it is NAI for her though.
lol, I think twice with you

this is shallow analysis, do you think I was ever limiting my sus pool to 3 people?
It seemed that way to me. I don't think it was shallow, I wrote about it at much more length in other places.

That did seem to me to be all you were interested in, though. And I could not see a town reason for it, like I said in another post, it felt exactly the same to me as if you mainly wanted to discuss people whose player name began with "S"; it had nothing to do with the thread. Golden gave me the impression that I was rude or uncharitable to you, and I am sorry if that is how I cam across. But it is what I felt.

I kind of still don't see a town reason for it. But i don't know you and perhaps I am judging unfairly.

Where would you have me vote instead, and why?
do you see a mafia reason for it?

I got that feeling when you focused on me/Kate/Jack too. You said something about wanting to understand our situation but it gave me the impression you were ignoring everything else.
oh, I just come off like that, usually people aren't really aware that i'm not constantly hyperfocused on one thing at a time (also this is disputed by my mom and brother lol)

Pretty big reaction to such a "dumb and empty" reason to wolf read you.
Seanzie how many games have you played with me. Is me overreacting to a scum read normal or abnormal for me?

[VOTE: Sabi] aubergine

just for good measure, votin' ya' twice.
seanzie tunneling sabi is town indicative of sabi regardless of seanzie's alignment
