i think it's uniquely easy to catch wolves in the first few pages of the game because of this, and lily's posts came the closest of meeting the archetype of somebody who was focused primarily with "blending in" and trying to seem natural. it's not really about whether she does it every game - it's about the timing, the flow, etc etc

i understand that this type of read has a high margin of error though

he was ridiculously cloying to me in the one wolfgame ive played with him (ie: he opened up the game by waxing poetic about how towny i was in a very generalized way) and in this game he was immediately accusatory and skeptical toward me (ie: "do you really think that lily believed that?"),so it would be a pretty impressive reversal of his scum meta in a world where he's mafia

i think it's important to differentiate between easy to change and likely to change. most towntells are easy to manipulate but they are still valid towntells bcus most players are habitual unless they are making a conscious effort to change their meta

I don't know to be honest. I guess my play def differs because mash is much faster paced and has a lot bigger complexity. I can't tell how I play different though.

how long have you been playing and do you have a particular playstyle such as aggressive/passive/contrarian or something? I have never played with you before and I'm gonna ignore the turbo and popcorn games

Well I’ve played video mafia since last year and just recently got in this year. I have a couple of champs games under my belt and one invite game. Was town in both champ games and mafia in my CvD game all on MU incase you want to check it out!

I’d say my playstyle is a bit mixed and situational. I wouldn’t say aggressive but I’m very in your face and keep people accountable and what not. I’d like to think of myself as a leader and one who builds a good core and then sort out the poe from there.

Town hunting for me is way easier than scum hunting so that’s what I go to esp early on.

yeah my memory is similarly good, and memory in FM is somewhat important and holding people to past positions, even in different games, is optimal play
and I'm bad at describing my own play but you've seen me play, and my first FM game was S9G7

I didn’t really spec ur qual game but more so the spec game.

We’ve mainly played turbos so idk how much that’ll help but I’ll aim to use the spec game to help out.

Also, if I’m not mistaken, you seem to make reads more on vibes/gut feelings right? At least that’s what it seemed to me.
