No issue with challenging, but it was solely that, at the end of an announced read up, no alternative townleans* (up until the most recent post you made), and it was not convincing or strong-minded of a read in my view.

I'm open to other people's reads but I haven't been convinced of their townreads (tbh, there just hasn't been a lot of explanation in general) as you have not been convinced of my scumreads on them

I also have some posts that make me doubt the Rondo scumread, which I will share for transparency
P#226 I don't really think scum would be that transparent in who they're planning to push + the tone shows Rondo wasn't planning to move beyond the names they posted here
P#209 do still agree with how Rondo listing scumreads in 3s could be a townslip from forgetting that there are only 2 mafia
it's fairly easy to fake though so idk

my reason was because although I think they can still be scum, what they've been doing probably is good for the threadstate
and if they are scum, I think the route they're trying to go is more on the power-wolf side (because why else would you try to grab this much attention) so everything will become more apparent with time

I'm also trying to hold back the read until I get some sort of meta confirmation from someone who's more familiar with Rondo, which can then support/break my reasons for being concerned there

finally, I think any sort of engagement I can make with them right now would be useless because it looks like they're convinced to wolfread me no matter what and I don't care to answer to posts that are just shade like "lemon is outed scum" and "nice rule of 3"

I actually had Rondo/Thunal/Epi before but I took Epi out for this reason

also noticed Thunal's P#209 commenting on Rondo's potential townslip (for having 3 scumreads rather than 2, which I agree with) and yeah, it made me hesitate on Thunal/Rondo but then Rondo acted like I was outed wolf for no reason so that probably had some influence in pulling me back to a Rondo scumread

actually, if people who are very familiar with Rondo could chime in because I think the things I'm picking at could also be just a playstyle thing
I remember seeing Rondo in a game before but aside from them projecting a lot of confidence in their posts, I can't remember much from them
I don't think they were as defensive that game

my main concern wrt Rondo is how prickly they've been about pushes on them
I did see a slight explanation about their defensive mindset in P#156 but I don't buy it lol

their posts, especially early on, feel easy to townread but the slight push on anything that moves is also really easy to hide behind as scum because
1) you can just say you were moving the game forward if anyone picks at your reasoning
2) all pushes are light enough to move from easily so less chance of getting OMGUS'd
3) it's a good way to test for which pushes can gain traction and it's easy to leave after to avoid association if the wagon flips

on the other hand, it does attract a fair bit of attention but Rondo doesn't seem like the kind to care about that
and on second thought, it might be better to just leave them for the time being
