The "rate of wolves dying". Yeah I'm sure robyn was responsible for marmot dying by inactivity. I'm not particularly sure what's going in this game but you would've thought wolves straight up gave up so far.

I would certainly not expect Hat and Boot to mean the same thing across nights.
Sigh. I appreciate the info but no, I'm not exactly happy.

Then we just build worlds and eliminate as many teams and pairings as possible, ID the most and least likely ones, and work off of that.
Easier said than done of course but that's how you typically solve flipless games and this one is no different.
And yes but I solve flipless games by making assumptions on the ones who didn't flip, too. You can tell me it's unnecessary but i personally would just be floating around aimlessly if I can't do that.
I am cause this is the world I'm thinking is most likely.
Because to my knowledge I don't remember anyone taking the idea of multiball in any way seriously.
And in particular a multiball setup would change my view of the game regrading interactions.
I don't think I'm wrong when I say that most town in this game would not have been even thinking about multiball possibilities.

Re: Landlord Legacy Listing - Night Two (2)
In my past experiences playing with Lime Coke, he has been very aggressive when sussed as v, and yet he had no fire at EoD. It was a complement appeasement show towards Porscha, which, ignoring any supposed meta, is a very bad sign. But the kicker was that Lime Coke had no legacy when he was well-aware that he was going to die, and this is a player who normally tries very hard to defend their townreads, and is often theatrical about it. You saw this with how he was claiming that Porscha was town to dead players. So then it is incongruous that he did not make a legacy proclaiming anything to this effect.

I would be asleep when the deadline happens, so I will set an alarm for right before, and either I am roused and I vote, or I don't.
Voting now feels like it will have no impact unless I vote Lime Coke, and in that case, Lime Coke will probably just solidify as the default chop candidate, and I cannot say I'm a fan of that for gamestate given so many hours left.
Hence the gamble.

This is a rhetorical question, I'm well aware you scumread Long Con, but there's not much point in genuflecting about how anti-slanker you are if I cannot even remember that you encouraged other people to kill the slankers. Either that or my mind is having a filtering bias.

Re: Landlord Legacy Listing - Day Two (2)
Suddenly the point of having post restrictions apply over phase cycles and not just dayphases makes sense.
I will read the nightphase, but I'm not particularly expecting this to solidify my currently very amorphous view of the game right now. Since Long Con brought it up, I am the type of player to do a minimalist amount of analysis but I have been rather inundated with real life happenings recently and I don't expect to produce any serious work until much later.
Just as a possible discussion point though, what do people think of the Cape kill? I personally thought it was rather unexpected, and I think it suggests that the gamestate is very volatile; no one's been capable of leading town, and anyone who might even remotely have good reads has any influence.

This was rather disappointing given that all it did was express an ordering which I already knew you'd respond with/understand the reasoning for.robyn wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2023 7:39 pmi just looked at wwa's posts, she has difficulty getting into the thread and the post i tr of hers at like 5am was P#195, which after not being near sleep looks fakeable. i'd go with her. my reasoning for svs is that while she hasn't done anything ai i've liked her posts & would like to play with her later. long con feels like the most towny for reasons i have said

I don't think the thread has any sense either of where they want to go today besides Neon Abigail. I'm leaving the the thread completely blind as to the eventual outcome and so it would be nice if people gave some clues on where there head is at. Just putting an ordering tells me too little about how likely you find each choice.

I'm going to keep pretending that I'm not pretending to townread Robyn.
For scheduling reasons I'd like to leave this thread rather early in comparison to the deadline. I don't have much of a choice but to not hold my vote.
I voted Scotty initially in the poll because their presence did not sit well with me. I found that Neon's perspective on the matter seemed to clarify my own feelings, and was reassured by the fact that they had the same reaction to Long Con's readslist post with respect to suspecting that Scotty and Long Con were teamed, which precipitated a vote since I was feeling somewhat confident. Lime Coke's claim that they normally found Scotty as town early but weren't doing so necessarily also factored into the level of confidence.
As of right now though, I'm no longer beholden to that view of the game after seeing the newer posts. I've not read any of the intervening content live, but I did like the sheer number of interactions and got the sense that people were figuring each other's alignment. That being said, I'm rather at a loss on who to vote.

Because of Robyn, we can't have nice things.
Because of Robyn, everyone's been informed that I'm Schweppes and everyone who knows me by that name will default to treating me like I'm Schweppes.
Because of Robyn, now the game has an added extra dimension of unknowable and unverifiable history from other mafia forums, buried discord servers and dms.
Because Robyn made post #15 personal in response to a completely impersonal post.
