Because it was a genuine thought. She genuinely did intend to remind Caitlin the game started, for completely innocuous reasons. That thought slipped out because it was an honest thought with no malicious intent. It's no different from saying "alright guys I'm going out for dinner, see you all later" in her mind. Scum say things like that all the time, it's just a part of normal posting/interaction. The slip was that she didn't realize the thought wouldn't materialize if she was town, and even if it did, she would react to me calling it out far less weirdly.

For example I think that town Abigail who actually didn't know it was a rule would just say "oh my bad I didn't know it was a rule" instead of saying my post is stupid and not a big deal. It's a very defensive reaction.

More often than not, it comes from wolves in my experience. Town always thinks I'm scummy, but wolves love to take the opposite stance and defend me because they know they can get me mislunched without dirtying their hands. More often than not, it comes from wolves in my experience. Town always thinks I'm scummy, but wolves love to take the opposite stance and defend me because they know they can get me mislunched without dirtying their hands. I know that's not the case for everyone, but that's how it usually goes for me.

The only recent time we played, on FoL, I correctly townread you too when you were a consensus scumread too

So that already should function as an indication that maybe town!me is capable of townreading you

Yeah, but wouldn't you normally default to thinking two wolfy unpaired players are mafia and 3P, rather than two mafia factions? Seems like quite the assumption to me, maybe I just have a different experience, but I see 3Ps frequently and almost never multiball.
