Also, the NP Blue role was all her idea, and I thought it was a fun way to bring in some who didn't sign up to play.
I appreciate you all. I appreciate Eloh more.![]()

No, but y’all have both rocked as hosts- very hands on and responsive. No typos or grammatical errors. Which as we know is the most important aspect of hosting

Sloonei wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 7:32 pm My mind is made up. I recognize that my vote determines whether or not a bunch of great people will become eligible to participate in this year's Game of Champions after long absences. That's a lot of pressure, if any of them are interested in playing.
I've been reading over both your ISOs for a while. Then I switched to reading G/Michelle/Quin ISOs to see how you all interacted with one another throughout the game. Sorry for not posting my work. Since I am only solving for myself at this stage, I felt it was more efficient to simply scan and make small notes to myself. I can explain my decision after the fact, and I'm sure I will whether I get it wrong or right. But for now I just want to rip the band-aid off and conclude this wonderful game. Thank you for answering my questions today.

Sorry if I got this wrong, everybody. Especially you, Eloh. Well played to everyone, thank you Daisy and Epi for hosting. Sorry I bailed for the middle portion of the game, I really did love being involved and seeing so many old faces again.

Girl capitalized all them adverbs too.

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 8]

Four people left, four houses. The Sorting Hat was impatient.
It was Golden's turn. "Coward!" it cried.
"House of Coward it is!"
It was Sloonei's turn. "Eh, Paprika," it said.
"Hooray for House of Paprika!"
It was Eloh's turn. "Hawtpeesuvaz!" it declared.
"House of Hawtpeesuvaz! How lucky!"
Finally, it was Vivax's turn. The Sorting Hat scowled. "Take him out back. Give him a blindfold and a sig, and then let him rest in the narrow house."

According to Hobbit lore, Smaug's favorite thing to enjoy are sigs. sigs are smoky, flavorful, chewy, and provide a great benefit to the government of Lonely Mountain in the form of excessive taxes per pack.
Even though they weren't, sigs sounded like they were a cause in the death of poor Gilbert, who once said

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 7]

Doctor Thomas Light and Doctor Albert Wiley appeared on stage together to debate if robots would surpass humans.
Dr. Wiley argued that robots eventually would. He demonstrated a number of robots. "All these could automate a number of boring things, like cleaning the house, making whoopie, or playing mafia!"
Dr. Light brought out Mega Man. "Are you kidding Wiley? Look at him. Look at Mega Man. This idiot will never understand love, the meaning of life, or The Three Stooges!"
This debate went on for some time.
Eventually a third doctor came forward. He was the presenter. "I am pleased to announce that the winner of this debate is none other than..." He licked his finger to turn the page. "DOCTOR-"
But before he could finish, the robots on either side obliterated him, having mistook the word "winner" for "dinner."
Everyone dutifully filed out so that the janitorial robots could clean up.

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 7]
"The first rule of DFaraday Club is you do not talk about DFaraday Club.
The second rule of DFaraday Club is you do NOT talk about DFaraday Club.
Third rule of DFaraday club…someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, fight is over.
Fourth rule- only two guys to a fight.
Fifth rule- one fight at a time fellas.
Sixth rule- no shirts, no shoes.
Seventh rule- Fights will go on as long as they have to."
A hand raised.
“Yes?”
A timid voice answered. “It’s Day 7. Day 7. Game 2 is already over, and they started after us. Why are we still doing this?”
It was DFaraday, who hadn’t said much up until this point.
Tyler Durden smiled and put a hand on DF’s shoulder.
“And the eighth and final rule of DFaraday Club: If you are DFaraday, you have to fight Gilbert.”

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Night 5]

Thomas the Tank Engine was a really useful engine. Sir Topham Hatt had him moving the circus animals from one town to the next. Thomas enjoyed the bear car the most.
As Thomas steamed along the countryside, he saw some Dirty Diesels on another line, who had to be up to no good.
Sure enough, they were taunting someone, calling her names like Stinky Varmint Skunk and Sloppy Vermin Slug and things like that. It wasn't nice at all.
"So Very Sad!" one of them taunted when the victim protested.
Suddenly the recipient of these taunts tried to run away, but crossed the tracks just as Thomas was passing by!
When he found about it, Sir Topham Hatt was cross.
"Thomas, you have caused confusion and delay!"

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 4]

bea had had enough of this strange new world.
She wandered alone along the shores of a place that kind of looked like Gotham City. Street workers and G-Men were begging the bat man to spare them. It was becoming boring.
She stubbed her toe.
In the sand and at her feet, she found a lamp. Upon brushing it off, a mystical being appeared.
He had no feet.
“I am Rhinfrew Flowingrass. I am a genie. With no feet. I cannot dance. To cheer myself up, I grant wishes!”
bea perked up.
“What are your wishes three?”
“I wish that whatever you give me, my boss gets double.”
Rhinfrew Flowingrass stroked his beard (but not his feet, for there were none) and considered the wish.
“That is a strange request. Still, so be it! What is your second wish?”
“I wish for a million dollars!”
Rhinfrew Flowingrass grinned. “Now we are talking! A million dollars for you! But two million to your boss!”
bea looked down and then back up.
Rhinfrew Flowingrass asked, “And your third and final wish?”
bea smiled devilishly. “Beat me half to death.”
Rhinfrew Flowingrass never kicked her, but bea never survived the beating. You could say she puts the "bea" in "beating."
After the genie was done, he turned on his TV and watched "Hollywood Squares."

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 3]

“Roadkill is one thing, but scraping a llama off the street. They don’t pay us enough for this.”
“You said it. Where’d they even get these things in the city?”
The two men continued removing thellama73’s carcass from the pavement.
“Better than bats. That’s all I know.”
“Bats? How so? Llamas are huge.”
A gravelly voice came from behind. “So are bats.”
One of the roadkill removal workers found himself flying upward and then suspended from the edge of a building. He was face to face with The Batman.
“Who is killing the civilians in this city?” the caped one demanded.
“I think I left the coffee pot on this morning. That can’t be good.”
“Who? Who?!” Batman demanded.
“I’ve only seen The Rolling Stones once, but I wasn’t that impressed, to be honest.”
“That’s irrelevant!” Batman growled. “Answer my questions!”
“I’d love to know where the idea of croutons came from. I mean, who said, ‘Do you know what this salad needs? Stale bread!’”
“That’s enough,” Batman said, and released the man.
As the guy fell fifteen stories, he screamed, “My mother used to knit the nicest quilts in the county!”
Batman stopped him before he could hit the pavement, but not before the guy could hit G-Man, who was passing by on his way to his job at Vivacious Vixens and Vittles.

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 2]

After discovering that Rorschach was really Gilbert Gottfried- a revelation no one saw coming- another mystery man approached the confused remaining citizens of New Syndicate. He sat down at an outdoor bar and made himself comfortable.
“Jack Daniel’s please,” he said and reclined. His tan suit was cool, but his eyes looked strange, as though one of them wasn’t real.
“Today’s not your day,” he said and sipped his Jack. Then he laughed. “It isn’t my day either.”
He drank some more and finally announced, “Anyway, I’m sorry about your loss. He was truly exceptional. You might say he ruled.”
Everyone looked. Some were doing quick counts.
“What loss?” Gilbert Gottfried asked.
“That one,” Mr. Wednesday said, pointing to a person explaining vehemently to a stranger how “Free parking on Sunday” is really the exception that proves the rule rather than how people indiscriminately and frivolously use the expression, “the exception that proves the rule.”
A semi-truck slashed through him and kept going.
“That’s the Peterbilt that proves the feeble-built,” Mr. Wednesday said. "Can I have another?" he asked, shaking his empty glass.

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 2]

That cartoon crew got loose, and now a Comedian is dead. Isn’t that funny?
But I’m not laughing.
“Markings only mean what someone interprets them to mean.”
Someone told me that once. Forget who.
But after a while the markings won’t matter. The ink that people argue about and get divorced over and start wars for, none of it will matter.
The end is coming, after all.
The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'SAVE US!'...and I'll look down and whisper

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Night 1]
Baby Herman here. Yeah, that’s right. I’m narratin’ this one.
That sad music contest was over. Scotty was the clear winner with his overly melodramatic song, “We’re Totally a Progressive Metal Band but Look at Us Not Playing Progressive Metal While Still Being Creepy in this Video.”
The Map thing was over too, as people wandered all over the place thinking they were stepping fifty feet one way and going to Jerusalem or a hundred the other and winding up in Canada. You freeze people for a decade and you can get them to believe anything. Real wise guys.
While they were wandering around thinking they were going to Fiji or something, one of them bumped into someone else, knocking that person over. Then someone on the way to Twin Peaks (really? That’s your vacation pick?) stepped on the fallen person’s finger.
Things went from bad to worse when Roger tore through the place running for his life and knocked the same person over again. Then the inconsiderate toon had the audacity to make a human shield out of her. The weasels came flying in next, looking to make short work of the Rabbit.
“P-p-p-p-please fellas! Look at this lady’s fingers? You like lady fingers, don’t ya?”
Smart Ass said, “It’s all right her fingers is bust. We got plenty of SPLINTS.”
Fingersplints has been killed.
It is now Day 2. You have 47.5 hours to lynch someone.

The Map
Jerusalem: Ah, Jerusalem. Jesus, Apostles, all sorts of good godly things abound. Welcome to the lovely desert. We are glad you are here, and you will be too. You are blessed indeed.
Los Angeles: The glitz, the glamour, celebrities, and sin! What more could you possibly be looking for? Welcome to Los Angeles, where your fantasies will come true.
Canada: Well, not much goes on here that we know of, but we do have Niagara Falls and are a safe place to flee if you are drafted or if the country is taken over by Misogynist Dictators looking for healthy babies! We are such a benevolent nation.
Twin Peaks, Washington: We ain’t gonna lie, it is creepy as shit here. We are glad you came but you might not be…nothing here is as it appears to be, keep your eyes open because you never know who might be following you or walking beside you.
Nether: hello visitors! It’s no easy task to find the portal to the nether- congratulations for doing so. Once you are here everything becomes much clearer. The air is clearer, the clouds are lifted and everything is simple and understandable.
Secret Location – The heart of the island: Literally the best place to be in the universe. Full of warmth, love, and the opposite of evil, sorta. Don’t dive down to far or you may become Smoke and then you’d be trapped here forever (I think?). Please be aware that you may or not be exposed to excessive radiation, electromagnetism and an inability to die, maybe – or…who knows.

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 1]
Those assholes, Fagen and Becker, they walked away before anybody could even pick any kind of entertaining music. Said something about a gig elsewhere and they were gone in a puff of cigarette smoke and 1970s vibes.
Instead, they left three children in charge of judging the music. And my oh my do they judge.
In the meantime, it was up to the group of eighteen to beat hell out of one of their own with those golf clubs Andrew Ryan left them.
Elohcin took four licks with clubs of different sizes. Sloonei took four licks with clubs of different sizes.
They all had different clubs in case you didn’t remember.
You could say they were having a… Fight Club.
But we don’t talk about that. That’s rule number one.
And two.
Something heavy fell from the sky. It landed on Vivax’s head and slew him. The people stopped with their clubs of putting balls in holes and holes in balls.
After ensuring Vivax was a goner, they saw the parcel was marked “From Triple A: Subscription Renewal Enclosed: Free Map!”
