Long Con wrote:The Detectives have BTSC without it being listed, so the Arch-Villains COULD have BTSC. Makes more sense for the two Zooms to have it than Grodd... although I watched the latest Flash episode last night, and it introduced Gorilla Grodd, and Grodd considered Professor Zoom to be a father to him, so maybe it does make sense for Grodd to be connected in that way. However, I don't believe Grodd is connected to either Reverse Flash in the comics, so I don't see any reason why the host would connect them that much in the game.

I don't read Flash comics, but I did read Grodd's wiki page. It says he has "vast psionic powers", which meshes with the Gorilla in the show last night, so I would assume he is the one mind controlling people.

Oh I did not know the detectives have BTSC. You know this as a fact or assumption?

If so we should for sure lynch Roxy.

I would not base my thoughts on this game on the TV show. It has been very different from the comics. I do love the show though. It has been great.

Professor Zoom (???????) – He wants to kill the Flash family more than anything else in the world. He’ll search every even night for a Flash. if he finds either Wally or Barry, that Flash will die.

I don't know about the rest of, but given my rather public role, I'm glad he's dead.

But technically you're not really a civvie in this game, you're an Indy with a team. This lynch in no way helps me with my win condition.

IDK I have more time now and I'm trying to figure this game out.
It keeps me alive longer, and I am helping you with your win condition (unless you are a New Rogue, that is.)

Maybe, or maybe not. You could be NKed or recruited. Either way lynching Aces does not help me win. In fact I don't see anyone who needs that role dead to win EXCEPT the New Rouges (The Baddies).

Correct me if I'm wrong though.
The way I see it, the Detectives need to take out the New Rogues, just like the Old Rogues need to do. That makes their goals at least Civvie-aligned, so Professor Zoom's goal of killing them was anti-Civvie. If we see the Detectives as Civvies, then they're, like, the BEST Civvies, because they have BTSC, they have info-checking, dead rolechecking, and some other powerful benefits.

And, as a side note, I'd wager that Abra Kadabra rezzed Llama, which I take as a big sign that he is choosing to go with a Civvie-aligned Indy victory. So that's nice.
Good points. I was just going over all the win conditions and this meshes very well. So I guess Zoom was a baddie in a sense. But a baddie IMO who had no BTSC. At least from what I can tell.

So a connection between Aces and Roxy IMO is not very likely if we are considering that. Not sure I'm not completely caught up on the thread. But I thought that was part of it. From what I had read it was. Unless they Arch Villains do have BTSC? Do they?

I'm going to be caught up by tonight so I will be asking a lot of questions bitches! :P

On second thought, after rereading win conditions, the New Rogues are the most obvious baddie team. Lol.

I don't think they are a baddie team. I think they each have individual win conditions.

It's the kind of theory that, if you share it too soon, you warn the baddies against taking the action that would otherwise condemn them. As for proving people shouldn't be listened to, certain people are acting like I'm so obviously bad and they should obviously be listened to and followed (one of these was BF, fwiw) and so proving them wrong would correct that a little.

Linki - There's still a 50% chance I'm an Old Rogue, and a reasonable chance I'm independent. In that case, I'd be siding with the civs because as much as I say indies are lame for always doing that, there's a good reason why it happens.

So you can say anyone is bad with your experiment.

This statement gave me a ping, it's casting a broad suspicion across six people while not directly going after any of them. This is the kind of thing that pushes people to follow its lead and make accusations, which Bass could then follow along with if it seems like it could catch on. Also, at 23 posts, he's flying under the radar quite a bit.
Sorry that yoou feell cheated because I havvnt been posting a ton. Let me ask you something do you think theres a good chance a baddie could be among those six people? I have seen people on mafia teams do that almost every game.
Sure, there's probably a baddie, maybe two among those six people. And so the rest of the baddies are among the rest of the people. Maybe a couple are in the Llama voters. Do you think Epig voters are a baddie-free group?

So, saying there's probably a baddie in a group of six is just not a really pertinent piece of information, especially when it's the cornerstone of your biggest opinion put forth in this game.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 1)

I'm disappointed you're not really helping the civvies but are trying make it look that way, LC.

I have no idea how you feel. I only know what you're portraying.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 1)

I feel like you're trying to say you're too civvie, you're bad.

While you are trying to play up the helpfulness aspect these first days yourself.

Hypocritical.

I felt while you where voting you made it seem like you had to vote someone who was trying to act extremely civvie. I was thinking this was going to be your new shtick.

I don't feel great about bullz' posts about bf, either.
I don't have much to say about rabbit thinking I'm bad. I don't understand his reasoning - he seemed to have the same opinion of my response post to blindfaeth that Soneji had, that it was saying nothing... but that's not true. His recent post about me using the same ineffective reasoning as I had in other games, well, I don't really know what previous reasoning he's referring to, but I'm sure he'll be happy to clarify.

I'm also not following his vote for blindfaeth today, he will or he won't talk more about that.

What makes you feel not great about bullz' posts about bf? Do you mean how he called him out on likely being a Detective?
You feel like making statements with your day 1 votes. It never works. Why do you do it? Like voting for people who self vote to stop that behavior. Or this game, making the statement that Lama was trying to hard to show his civvie game in some artificial way. What a load. I feel like you're trying to hard to be seen as an Indy, TBH. But hey, do as you do.

BF is bad. You are too.
If he's bad, why would he want to look like an indie and not a civvie? To survive NK, or is there another reason for it?

And can you repeat again why you think BF is bad? I'm on the fence with him. Not sure what to make of him. I've never played with him again, nor with you, I believe (so hi :) ). He seems to badly want to lead the game. My question is, is that something he'll do as a baddie?

IDW I just get the feeling BF is bad. :nicenod:
Playing up the civvie card if you ask me. :evileye:
I guess I deserved that
Still, it's way easier to just keep saying someone is bad without having to back it up with anything else. At least I tried.

lol, I will try harder before the lynch ends. I just got done building a deck with a shed this weekend. I'm not as young as I used to be. SO lets say my mafia attitude is not there at the moment. But I wanted to get in here and read the thread at least.

I would vote for someone I thought was bad even if they could not defend themselves.
