DFaraday. Golden made a good post about how he may have felt "caught" after Mac guaranteed us he was bad, when he just straight up left for the rest of the day right until it was time to save himself. He's actually been in the game and apparently keeping up from the start but with big gaps between posts. I think that period when he went missing only to come back and nail Sokoth doesn't absolve him at all, Sokoth's freakout was pretty bad and I think DF had the good instinct to know that he would be lynched over it. The player pool is getting smaller and I think there's a very good chance this guy is one of the ones we're looking for.

inh had that defense of Sokoth but I think he had to have known he would be lynched, right? He also said to us on the ship that Sokoth left him money, which is... pretty awkward to navigate around, especially since he decided to tell us two days after SQ was gone. He was absent all of Day 4 until right after the poll closed, even though I saw him reading the thread several times before that. I had a pretty good read on him early in the game but I don't really know what he's up to now, he's not really scumhunting or doing anything noteworthy.

If you had chosen yourself you would've been the least likely to get lynched, but especially given that we didn't know who else would be on the poll that's not so great. You had no reason to shield us so on the one hand I'm glad you didn't but on the other, why me lol.

So I wouldn't have minded either crewmate besides us but my answer is DF.

Exactly. Despite having so few posts, the one time he's mentioned having to catch up was at the end of yesterday's lynch when he showed up just in time to save himself.

That's my secret, Cap. I'm always catching up.

Also, why would I put a vote on myself at the start of day when it could easily become a runaway, then not show up until the end to save myself?

DDL is reading totally genuine to me and his outbursts feel like genuine civ frustration, while Golden's reactions feel more manufactured. I'm not really examining things in-depth at this point, just going off reads.

I don't have much of an opinion on Enrique one way or another, but I could vote there if someone sums up why I should.

At this point I'm not on a crew because of my lack of participation probably. At the start of the game everyone made their crews, and for the entire game it's been clear that none of the captains are interested (except Luna, but I specifically asked her to hire me). It's like in Survivor where I got upset and stopped caring. Things that feel like popularity contests strike a nerve with me.

I don't know why you're asking why crews matter anyway, though. It's basically the main topic of discussion every single day.

I was beginning to think you weren’t coming back. Now that you’re back, tell us more about epis case on you. Why did you pick sokoth to be basically the one thing you noticed in that last catch up?

I didn't have a lot of free time last week, so I did a ton of skimming. Sokoth's novel-length defense against Nova caught my eye, and it struck me as wildly overblown, so I followed that thread.

I meant it the other way around, not sure how I messed that up. Luna's defense makes some sense to me, Sokoth felt like he was avoiding actually engaging the points made against him.

Overall I feel worse about Luna than Sokoth. At least I can see where Luna is coming from in her defense, so I'm going to [VOTE: Sokoth] aubergine.

This is a good point too. I know it's one I've used as a baddie.

DDL's recent posts have come across as genuine to me, so I'm feeling better about him right now. I think if there's a baddie between him and Lunalee it's her, but I want to read over her posts again before voting.

Also Sokoth is not reading any better to me. He's being overly defensive without really giving a satisfactory defense.

That was my initial thought too. Sokoth's response felt weirdly disproportionate to Nova's post, with shades of NO U too. Also him making a point of Nova already putting a vote on him today when votes are changeable reads like he's trying to make Nova look shadier than warranted.

I do agree with DH that DDL was pretty wishy-washy early on, which I hate to admit since our crew is already lagging behind the rest.

I'm not really clear on what the case on Wilgy even is.

It may change later, but for now I'm voting Glorf because he's so trustworthy that his status will never be in doubt, Wilgy because a crazy and unorthodox captain sounds fun, me so that someone will have voted me, and Marmot because I have a spare vote.
