I guess I should be flattered that people always give me more credit for sneakiness than I deserve. I totally bought that you were Eddie, and I spent the whole game defending you. I was kind of shocked you were so convinced I was bad.Long Con wrote:Sounds like my Civvie wins. Great game, Epig, nice checks and balances on the info-to-baddie-deception ratio. I'm looking forward to hosting Arkham Mafia with you!Epignosis wrote:Also, Mafia tried to Night kill me THREE times that game.
So, Llama... on Night 3 (?) Elohcin was targeted by BR (Delores) and that made her 'have a threesome' in her Jessica Rabbit temp BTSC. Llama and I were her choices.
I had to roleclaim, so I chose Eddie Valiant, because I had just found out that Bass was a baddie due to his fingersplints vote, so I pretended that I tacked him and he targeted juliets, the NK victim. Solid, right? Llama claimed Marvin Acme, and his reveal of the secrets made a lot of sense with the character, who was dead all movie, as I recall, with his Will being the Macguffin to drive the plot.
Not too long after I told them about Bass, two things happened. First blindfaeth (a little) and Canucklehead (a LOT) came out after Bass, with some solid evidence that he was a baddie. Next, Bass pulled his little phony-slip against me.
What am I supposed to think? It seemed clear that Llama was a baddie, and had told his team that I am obviously the Judge, so they mobilized to take me out. I also heavily suspected Canuck as a teammate, because she was the vehicle that got it going. If the baddies KNEW that I had outed Bass, then a good move would be to send one of their own to take him down themselves, for supreme distancing. Most of the thread didn't understand how the baddies could know who I was, and I couldn't reveal it - even though it could easily seem to Elohcin that the baddies were framing Eddie Valiant, instead of The Judge.
Hilarious now that I explained to MP07 that there's things he could not know that would lead to Bass wanting to set me up... little did I know the truth. I think I must have confused MP a little with what I was saying, since he knew the actual truth: the baddies had roleblocked me Night 1, and there had been no vote-forcing, so they had me pegged as Judge Doom from the get-go.
Ironically, I actually chose to not use my power on Night 1 because of Eddie Valiant's tracking. I figured I didn't need to manipulate the lynch so early, so why risk getting tracked? Only during Day 2 did I think about my role more, and realize that it meant I could pinpoint the baddies and try to take them out at my leisure while killing Civs every other night. If the baddies had roleblocked ANYONE else that night, then they would have assumed that person was Judge Doom, and my game would have been drastically different.
I DID want revenge for Bass' setup move, and I was sure that Llama was to blame, so I did what I could to get him lynched. Sorry, sir!![]()
Now that you see my perspective on it, I'm sure you understand.
I sent in Elohcin for my kill on Night 4, because she was going to pull BR in next... I had told her that I tracked BR night 1 and she didn't target, but it was too much of a risk to let her BTSC with BR and find out I was lying. Eloh changed to fingersplints instead of BR, so I sent in Sophie's name later as an updated kill, but Zomba roleblocked me anyway. I REALLY didn't want to kill Elohcin though, because she was so nice, but I'm glad that it was my choice to not kill her rather than the roleblock doing it for me.Little did I know that splints was the real Eddie Valiant.

I thought Splints just talked some sense into Eloh about me and Bass and lying, now I see that it was much more dire.
So wow... is this right?? Sophie tried to target me - to kill me as a baddie - on Night 4. She would have died as a result, but she was roleblocked, saving her life. The same night, I tried to kill HER, and I was roleblocked, saving her life! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? That's, like, so awesome.

I wouldn't necessarily say I enjoy being bad more than civ, but being civ is more frustrating because everyone always thinks I am bad. I actually feel like I try harder when I am civ, but it tends to get me lynched.

Very well. My top three are Rabbit, Sophie, and Canucklehead.blindfaeth wrote:Well yesterday when I reread llama's posts I do recall that they seemed oddly empty of referencing people in general. I could be wrong, but it seemed like he hadn't mentioned a whole slew of people by name at all. Or if he did, very little. There are a couple who he consistently would talk about, Sophie and Zomba, talking to splints, etc. IDK whether that's incriminating, just something I wanted to point out.
Well maybe we all put our top three suspects and we go with who overlaps the most? I'm not sure how to resolve. I think its between rabbit, llama and bea.

I've been reading her as civ, but her voting record is terrible. She was the last person to vote for Bass, the last person to vote for Long Con, and the last person to vote for Zombrella.blindfaeth wrote:So, I hate to even mention this, but I want to consider all options. How does everyone feel about Fs? I think she feels civ all game to me. Last night as I was trying to fall asleep I was thinking about the game though, and it struck me that we now know bass and his pm slip were in fact faked, because they weren't on the same team. Fs was the one who was grilling bass, and his game Pm was in response to feeling heat from her. "I can't believe how much heat I'm getting for this vote", something like that he said. Is it possible she and bass preplanned the whole exchange? This is the only thing that gives me pause. I still think rabbit is the most likely personally but I'm trying very hard to keep an open pen mind.

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? [Night 7]
Thank you for seeing reason. The simple answer to this is that I was super involved in Death Note at the time of those votes, and had limited ability to pay attention here, so I stuck with my instincts rather than following the crowd. I am dead in Death Note now, and have more ability to pay attention.Canucklehead wrote:I'm reading through your posts right now, llama, and you're right. You built two big cases against Zombra and Sophie, and have stuck to those suspicions all game. You have given reasons. I retract that statement.
I guess where my concern with you comes in, then, is why you insisted on continuing with those votes even on days where we had obvious baddies to lynch? You voted zomb on Bass day, and Sophie on Ninja day (I know you maintain doubts about ninja's baddiness.....but instead of arguing against her being bad, you just voted early and said practically nothing that day). I get that zomb and sophie are your suspects and you've been consistent, but even if you were right about both of them, there were still always other baddies that needed lynching, why insist on going against the crowd? I know you hate hive minds...but surely you could see the benefit in voting Bass, at least?? I just don't get it. These two votes are the most suspicious ones to me.They obviously couldn't both be forced Judge votes (because of double targetting), but I am worried that one of them might be.
I would note that my votes didn't prevent any of those people from being lynched. Not even close.

I did explain all of my votes at the time. It's not my fault no one read my explanations. You can keep saying "you don't have reasons" over and over again, but it doesn't make it true. ANyone who actually takes the time to read my posts will see that I explained my votes. I am annoyed at this shabby attempt to misrepresent me for an easy lynch.

There was no reason for him to pick Lama over every other player who he had coming at him. He could have laid into me. I have been his biggest naysayer all game. But he chose Lama. Why would he do that? Because he knows what votes he made the baddies cast all game.
Going after someone who is a baddie all games proves nothing. I've done the same thing when bad. So that argument means little to me.
Can someone please give actual evidence for why I might be bad instead of just assuming my vote was forced? Why not assume rabbit's vote was forced, or MP's, or Sophie's? I genuinely don't understand where this suspicion is coming from.
