Sorry for the triple post, but I wanted to throw that out as an idea to consider. As of this moment, I would still vote in the order of:
1. Shaw
2. WQ
...but I want to see what this idea generates and what names come out of it.

Re: X-Men [Night 13]
Honestly, I would be willing to try and lynch WQ again. The only two people who could possibly be Apocalypse would be her and Shaw, and at this point, I would lean more towards it being her.Spiral wrote:I wasn't silenced. My phone died at work and I had no way to vote. :/ I apologize.
I am completely at a loss at this point. White Queen, I'm sorry, but I think we can safely assume you're Apocalypse. You cannot be lynched or NK'd. I believe to know everyone's roles. WTF are we supposed to do? Just keep trying to lynch you until we succeed? Knowing what we know, it's hard. "No challenge" my ass, tbh.
I have some theories about Bullzeye, but I'm tired and will wait until tomorrow to post them. But if someone has the time, could we gather up a list of everyone who was rezzed for reasons we can't explain? Because if Apocalypse is using certain roles, I would put good money on it being those people. And perhaps those are the roles we need to eliminate before he will die. Bullz acting so weird before getting lynched again made me consider this idea, and I want to see what kind of list we come up with before I put more credence into this idea of mine.

Re: X-Men [Night 13]
Soooooo......yeah, I have no idea what happened with that lynch.
White Queen, no offense, but I'm not going to be paying any more attention to your posts. I believe you are Apocalypse, and I think you are trying to disseminate the thread with misinformation. I will be skipping right over the rest of your posts until you are dead.
I have some civ roles pegged for every role at this point, except for Shaw. I know some of you believe him to be civ. If there is any in-thread evidence or something I need to go back and read that could change my mind on this, I would be more than happy to examine it. Otherwise, I am going to be voting for him in every lynch from here on out until he dies. And White Queen next if he goes.
So unless anyone else has any ideas worth considering, those are the only 2 people I am looking at right now.

Re: X-Men [Day 13]
If I have to be dead for Apocalypse to win, that one is news to me. It's definitely a mistake to vote for me today.
Do we have any actual in-thread evidence of Apocalypse using/depending on other roles in order to win? Because I refuse to go on that notion unless I see otherwise.
Also, I won't be around much until the lynch, but if anyone wants to hear anything from me that could change their minds, I'm all for it. Because right now, I think the baddies (and probably Apocalypse too) are letting us sow the seeds of doubt in the thread to make us destroy ourselves.
I would be willing to vote for Shaw today. I will be placing my vote on him, because I don't see how anyone can make it to DAY FREAKING 13 and have skated through this far. I think there is enough evidence to consider the fact that he is bad. Hopefully others are willing to follow along with me on this one.

Re: X-Men [Day 13]
I appreciate the different theories being put out about how to get rid of Apocalypse. But I'm not sure that it's the case where he needs certain roles dead before he becomes vulnerable. I just feel like I haven't seen any evidence that confirms or denies this other than people speculating on this.
I'm honestly considering a vote for either White Queen or Shaw. I think one of the two of them has to be Apocalypse at this point (WQ), and I still feel willy-nilly enough about Shaw that I would be okay with voting for him.

I know I've said I've felt uneasy about Havok off and on throughout this game. There's that nagging feeling I've always had of him since the way he disputed my "case" and put out his own theory about it. But I think his vote for Polaris was what finally removed any doubt I had of him. I'm willing to go with Longshot, mostly because I agree that his vote for Spiral just looks really, really bad to me.

Good news: Great job to everyone who voted for Polaris! With a vote that close, I'm sure we can find some teammates in amongst the Spiral voters. And it makes me feel a heck of a lot better about him.

Yeah. I'm probably going to end up voting him as well. It just feels weird for me to vote for someone when they can't defend themselves. Even though I feel we have pretty overwhelming evidence that he's a rogue indy.Bullzeye wrote:I'll probably vote him regardless. Re: X-Men [Night 8]
Exactly. If we have a good idea of who The Sentinels are, I could get behind trying to lynch that person sometime soon.Bullzeye wrote:If he is the Sentinels and we don't kill him (even though we need him dead) then he'll just get stronger and stronger to the point of near-invincibility.Mikhail Rasputin wrote:To be sure of this being a possibility, I'd have to look at all the lynch polls again. Seems very plausible on first glance, though. I'd be interested to hear what he has to say.Havok wrote:Yeah, I figured, Bullz. That's why the twisty words was directed at Polaris.
Also, I have a theory about who the sentinels is. Hawkeye has only been voted for in one lynch so far in this game, so if he was The Sentinels his vote is currently worth 7. Think back to the day that Rasputin and myself were tied and White Queen had 3 votes. I don't think we ever got a clear answer on whether or not White Queen was actually the one up for the lynch, but I think it's more than likely that she was. Anyway, Hawkeye basically took credit for that. He made a post saying that he thought he could affect the lynch in such a way as to lynch White Queen by himself. And then yesterday's lynch, Marrow is lynched while having fewer votes than 2 other people.
Anyway, that is what popped into my head after reading the lynch result. Question: Is there any evidence that would go against this that perhaps I'm not remembering at the moment? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we got Marrow out, but we also need the sentinels out.
However, I disagree that killing Hawkeye should be top priority, if indeed he is the Sentinels. In my opinion, he's been super civ-friendly in terms of trying to find baddies, and I don't see why that wouldn't continue. It does seem from our win conditions that we may need him out eventually, but I still think baddie-hunting should be our priority.
Also, I choose attack.

A baddie team of the 4 of you would be possible, but I think very highly unlikely given the circumstances. Yeah, I'm confused by this too. I would think you're saying it's better to vote for either Polaris or Deadpool, if Marrow is protected. Unless I'm misinterpreting what Hawkeye is saying.Bullzeye wrote:Hold on, you've lost me somewhere in there. If Marrow is most likely to have been protected by Magneto why not vote for one of the other two?Hawkeye wrote:It is very likely that I had been targeted by Magneto on Night 6 for Day 7. V, I think you might have unknowingly saved me and one other person by choosing Shaw. Thanks. So looking at the day 7 poll, there are a few possibilities. My best guess is, we're likely to find at least one baddie in the following group: Marrow, Polaris, Deadpool. Of the three I would be willing to vote for the former because she seems like the one most likely to be protected by Magneto. I don't know if she can be targeted again tough. What I do know is that I am safe today, but I don't want to endanger anyone in case any of those I have mentioned are protected. I'm open to suggestions. Also, I am leaving in an hour.
If he does mean one of the other two, I would be willing to consider Deadpool. His reaction when Mikhail suggested he form his own opinions and come to his own conclusions on events that happen in the game was to go with the flow and hop on a bandwagon (assuming I'm remembering it correctly). I can't find the exact quote from that, but I know I found his reaction extremely odd.

That was the worst-case scenario I was worried about: That nobody would be lynched and we wouldn't learn anything. So basically, it's another 72 hours of a whole lot of debating back and forth.
The only thing I've thought of so far is that the lynch ended in a tie, and I know Epig generally keeps those as no one getting lynched? What do others think? Agree or disagree?
Havok and Mikhail: Do either of you know why you weren't lynched?
Linki: Wait, how, White Queen? What makes you think it was redirected towards you? I didn't glimpse that from the story. But if that is the case, do you know why you weren't lynched? And would you be willing to share with us?

Well if you do at this point, it could decide who's lynched. So I hope you make the right choice.Polaris wrote:Ugh, I completely forgot about that. Well if that is the case, than we might not have to worry about it at all.Hawkeye wrote:I do wonder though, with all the redirecting that happened the previous night, what if Magneto's targets have been redirected?Polaris wrote:I'm just worried that Havok is one of Magneto's targets, and if we don't switch votes over efficiently, that we'll waste another lynch. As I said earlier, I believe Havok would be one of Magneto's targets since he was set up yesterday as today's lynchee.
I would switch my vote to White Queen if it came to it.
I think I might switch my vote then, just to set up a tie.
No pressure though. :P

I would actually be okay with siding with indies at this point. I get the feeling the civs would need their votes in order to stand a chance of winning, and the indies might need to go along with them in terms of self-preservation. That's assuming we still have at least 5 baddies alive.
Linki: Hawkeye, that's actually a really good point. So maybe instead of Havok or WQ or Mikhail, he ended up switching them for somebody else entirely.
If that's the case, I feel a heck of a lot better about my Havok vote now.

Re: X-Men [Day 6]
The only other option I would feel comfortable about right now is White Queen. But I'm not sure she's going to get enough votes at this point for me to consider her.Polaris wrote:I kinda have the same feeling Shadowcat, but I can't think of another good solution off the top of my head. Except of course to lynch Havok.
I guess my main concern at this point is that if we lynch a civ, numbers-wise the baddies might have a clear advantage at that point. I think they're really pushing hard to try and confuse a lot of people in the thread.

Re: X-Men [Day 6]
I have this uneasy gut feeling that this lynch isn't going to give us a clear-cut answer for some reason. I'm getting really paranoid all of a sudden. I guess I feel uncomfortable with Rasputin being discredited. Although if he gets lynched and ends up being bad, that's really going to change my perceptions of this game.
Linki: Did you ever make a case against Rasputin yourself or not? Because from what I remember, he at least put some degree of effort into his. I felt like you were just parroting that line because of what he was saying about you.

Re: X-Men [Day 6]
I had read that back then and interpreted it as you thinking I was trying to role-claim Archangel, which is why I wondered if your opinion of me had changed any. Thanks for the response though!Havok wrote:I did think that Archangel was dead, but with someone being off the poll today...I dunno. I'm not sure how being wrong about Archangel and therefore potentially being wrong about Dazzler would have any effect on my view of you? Maybe I'm forgetting something? I dunno. I'm still leaning baddie on you, but I'm less sure than I was yesterday only because the more i think about everything the more I realize that your Exodus/info case may not have been coming from a brotherhood member. It is possible that you just misinterpreted things. I still think Exodus was the real Gambit and that Domino was Mystique. I'm also still leaning brotherhood on you because of the things you've been posting recently.Shadowcat wrote:For some reason, I can't find the exact quote again, so either I mis-remember typing it out or I didn't go back far enough. I ask because you mentioned that you thought a certain role was dead, and thought that it correlated to my potential baddiness. And given what happened last night, I think it pretty definitively shows that said role is still alive.Havok wrote:What was your question again? I saw it, but I can't remember exactly what it was.

Thankfully we still have another hour though. Out of curiosity, what is your reasoning for voting her?Avalanche wrote:Ack! I have been super busy. Just made it in to vote with White Queen. Survivors club!
And yeah, in regards to what Hawkeye said, spreading the vote would be really bad today. Probably want to limit it to no more than 2 or 3 people with any votes at all today. Of course, that also counts on everyone who can vote showing up to vote today.
Hopefully we get some more votes in soon.

I just now noticed that. Either there's something he's saying in his insanified posts that we can't understand, or I'm wondering if Magneto's manipulation is playing into this in some way.White Queen wrote:Interesting. The Viz voted for Marrow
Has Viz ever mentioned any suspicion of Marrow before or not?

Re: X-Men [Day 6]
No. I'm saying that I think Havok is more likely to be manipulated.Polaris wrote:You think White Queen is more likely to be manipulated? I thought Havok would be between the two. Havok got a surprisingly large number of votes at the end of the day yesterday, and seemed like today's primary lynch candidate.Shadowcat wrote:I was unsure about voting for someone that Magneto had protected, but at this point, I think it's more a case of me voting for the person I feel better about (Havok) over the person who I think is a safer option and less likely to be manipulated (White Queen). So Havok it is.

Havok, when you're done catching up, do you have an answer for my question?
