Consider that Mars has thirty-three posts. Of those posts, nineteen are insane. In other words, more than most of the time Mars has contributed to discussion was incoherent.

Sorry to disappoint.Aphrodite wrote:Apollo - As per my post the other day I believe you to be Hinzelman. I do think you have recruited. So tell me is your recruit running the show?
So with all your empirical evidence you thought Hinzelman dead?
The empirical evidence said nothing about the living or dead status of Hinzelmann. It said IF Hinzelmann is alive, he is likely to be one of these people. I now know he is alive (it is conceivable that he was Chronos, but I think this unlikely) so I am going with what I have.
Is it a coincidence that just after you say Eros has never been suspicious of me, he starts acting suspicious of me, I wonder?
linki: Eros. Thank you. It is possible, but it is equally possible that Phoenix is, or you for that matter.

Re: AMERICAN GODS~Day 7
It would seem to me that the primary thing a last man standing player needs to do to win is to survive, and killing too many of the wrong people would eventually put the spotlight on him. As long as he is a person in good standing with the group (i.e., unlikely to be lynched), he may self-protect as much as possible in order to make sure no one murders him. This is what I think you're doing if you are Hinzelmann, which is completely possible you must admit.Apollo wrote:I am always interested, and also interested in your thoughts on Pluto v. Mars.Eros wrote:I'm not sure I believe this. I would love to explain why if you are interested.Apollo wrote: If I were Hinzelmann, I would be killing like crazy. I do not think your case on Phoenix is compelling. Searching for Hinzelmann requires proper diligence. Your weak case makes one wonder what side you're on. Continuing to go after Hinzelmann when there is thread evidence condemning those who have teammates gets me to consider that you might have been deceiving us after all.Apollo wrote:Eros, who do you think is more likely to be bad, Mars or Pluto?

It really looks like Mars was trying to lead the lynch away from Hercules on Day 5, voting for Zeus.
Mars wrote:I just realized my time setting is an hour off from the real time, so I missed it. I'm sorry, hostesses!
I hadn't been feeling the Fortuna suspicion, I think I would have ended up going with Athena. I'm also not suspicious of Hercules, but really he hasn't given me much to read either way.
Mars wrote:I don't see that there's anything damning about Athena, and actually I thought her defence sounded fairly genuine. But I'm geting progressively more leery of Zeus. His defence of Athena could be genuine, because they're teammates, or because he's trying to establish civvie cred if she gets lynched. I think if Athena is bad, it's as part of a team with Zeus anyway, so I'd rather go for the one who strikes me as more baddie to begin with. *votes Zeus*
P.S. I don't see Herc's behavior as terribly suspicious, and I actually think it's a bit odd that people keep bringing him up each day.

My vote for Apollo was in jest given the Host challenge. I had hoped that would have been understood and chuckled at, but it (apparently) wasn't.Aphrodite wrote:Maybe the context was clear to you but not to me during my skim before I made my posts. I am suspicious of Apollo (I thought you were as well because of your vote for him last lynch) so pardon me if I do not trust his motives and thought he was not telling all he should about the votes.Eros wrote:The context was clear that he was not providing an analysis, and what's more, he said as much.Aphrodite wrote:I am sorry. But again I will ask what is the case on Pandora?
I never said I didn`t need anyone and thats mean to imply. We all need to work together with everyone giving opinions whether we agree with them or not that is the best way I know how to find baddies.
But I'll leave it.
Here's the Pandora thing:

And Mars is no good, if you ask me:
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 700#p39700
Now I know it was a summary but I still do not trust him.
So for Pandora it was the word yet questioned by Apollo and quickly jumped on by Phoenix. Apollo didn't even vote for her instead threw his vote away. Maybe it was a slip idk though because the people questioning it I do not trust. If it was a slip worth voting for why didn`t Apollo vote for him yesterday?
Glad to know you hold suspicion of Mars as well.
I believe Apollo was forced to vote as he did, and even still, he did not "throw his vote away" since he voted fifth. I think he said this also.

It wasn't a criticism. It was an observation followed by a question.Vesta wrote:You may have tiny eyes along with the rest of your tiny features, but if you look at the poll, Pandora wasn't listed, so she got skipped when I counted the players who hadn't voted. Add her to the list fly-boy.Eros wrote:It would seem you left out Pandora. Any reason why?Vesta wrote:For possible last new gods I can't decide if a Herc teammate would vote to save or throw him to the wolves. If they had already lost a teammate than it might be worth it to try and save him, which makes me look at Phoenix's vote particularly because he tied in with Zeus. However if they gave up on him then Ceres or Zeus as the last Herc voters might be possible. Chronos and Mars are other options if they wanted to stop the tide against Herc, but I think that is less likely. Since Zeus was an early suspecter of Herc, it's more likely that Phoenix is the possible candidate for the last new god.
At quick count looks like Electra, Helios, and Poseidon missed the last vote.
(Herc too, but we know who he turned out to be)
Haven't heard anything from Electra really, have we? She was also a Wisconsin voter if I remember, but that option may have not done anything for Hinzie if WJ is right. If not, then highly possible as an inactive spook too. As of right now I am voting Electra as place holder since we can change votes.
I want to look at low posters next as well.

*deep breath*
We've been traveling around the country, killing each other.
Day 1: We lynched Hermes, he was civ. Boo! Eros insists that Poseidon is good.
Night 1: Atlas was NKed, apparently double targeted by the Spookshow and Hinzelmann. This is the last time we saw Hinzelmann.
Day 2: Artemis got the most votes, but Prometheus was lynched. He was civ. Boo!
Night 2: The New Gods tried to kill Athena, but failed.
Day 3: We lynched Artemis, she was civ. Boo! Eros insists that Fortuna is good.
Night 3: The Spookshow killed Persephone
Day 4: We lynched Fortuna. She is civ. Boo! At some point around this time Whiskey Jack tells us that at least one baddie is dead, so we start to question whether all the revealed roles are accurate.
Night 4: The New Gods tried to kill Poseidon but failed.
Day 5: Zeus and Athena start vouching for each other. We lynch Hercules. He was a baddie! Finally!
Night 5: Czernobog kills Poseidon. Eyebrows are raised.
Phoenix has attracted some attention as a possible Hinzelmann candidate. Pandora has recently caught my eye, as well as Eros, as being suspicious. A lot of people have been absentee and reborn. Nobody is really sure of anything. There has been a lot of insanifying/cursing. The hostesses have been doing a great job running a really fun game.
The end.
