It really looks like Mars was trying to lead the lynch away from Hercules on Day 5, voting for Zeus.
Mars wrote:I just realized my time setting is an hour off from the real time, so I missed it. I'm sorry, hostesses!

I hadn't been feeling the Fortuna suspicion, I think I would have ended up going with Athena. I'm also not suspicious of Hercules, but really he hasn't given me much to read either way.
Mars wrote:I don't see that there's anything damning about Athena, and actually I thought her defence sounded fairly genuine. But I'm geting progressively more leery of Zeus. His defence of Athena could be genuine, because they're teammates, or because he's trying to establish civvie cred if she gets lynched. I think if Athena is bad, it's as part of a team with Zeus anyway, so I'd rather go for the one who strikes me as more baddie to begin with. *votes Zeus*

P.S. I don't see Herc's behavior as terribly suspicious, and I actually think it's a bit odd that people keep bringing him up each day.

Mars is a really strange insanifier choice...

Also, I have to vote now, and I haven't really had any reading time, but I should be free enough now. So I don't know who to vote for and am gonna be that jerk that arbitrarily chooses someone. I'm going with Phoenix. If I'm alive when I return I'll read up then.

Here is a link to my discussion of why I think Hinzelmann is Phoenix and Phoenix is Hinzelmann. In other words, I think both Phoenix and Hinzelmann are the same person, that person being whoever is hiding behind the Phoenix Sock Puppet.

Note that Poseidon died before the last Hinz kill, so he is now out of the running entirely.

Alright, I am throwing out my idea that Electra is another Hinzie candidate. Rereading her 13 posts, she didnt vote Day 1, so no way she could have killed that night. Looks like Phoenix is once again the best candidate, so thats most likely where I will vote today. I thought him more likely a spook, but worth considering Electra on that front.

Helios...I'll be watchin' you too I think.

Linki - what is the case on Pluto? I feel like I missed something.

I don't really see the case on Pluto either, but Eros challenged him a little earlier and said he was thinking of voting for him, so I wanted to hear what he had to say.

Mainly his quick in and out vote for me because of my not voting plan. Plus I had a vibe from him previous to this as well. I maybe need to reread him so I might just go along with the phoenix vote as a Hinz kill would be a good kill and the evidence seems reasonable. Logical at least.

Some observations:

1. I think Medusa was civ. Chronos - not so sure, but more on the civ side.
2. I agree with Eros that Mars can't be ignored, and besides his defense of Herc, the two have had very similar playing styles.
3. I still don't think Phoenix is the serial killer. How crazy must you be to kill when all eyes are on you?
4. There's still that gut feeling about Apollo.
5. Pluto - I have no idea, the only thing that caught my attention so far was his post about him not being on the poll.
6. Low posters.:
a. Ares - sometimes pops in towards the end of the polls, has nothing to comment on, his last post was 4 days ago.
b. Electra and Helios - I see them both as Hinzelmann candidates. Again both show up from time to time, throw in a vote and before you know it we've got another kill. Electra has been a bit more active recently. Helios has been a bit defiant and he's also the lowest poster in the game, so I'm considering a vote for him today.

Linki - Ditto Eros, Vesta and Zeus

Apollo - I have to giggle a little bit this convo we have reminds me of someone (I mean that in the sweetest way possible) anyhow....

I didn`t say you shut it down all by your little self I said you HELPED shut it down with your early vote. So what if you can change it? Why not vote at all to encourage others to post thoughts while you were not around. but was around just enough. Its bad enough the lows posters barely post thought or to even vote but when they see you vote early they probably figure why say anything when I can just follow Apollo in his vote.
Idk its just how I feel.

BTW if you are so sure about Phoenix why didn`t you vote him last time when the lynch was between Pandora and Phoenix?

Glad to know I have your permission to follow my own case on Mars and vote for him. But I do have real problem voting for cursed players. Not just this game (see the Artemis lynch) but many games there have been bad lynches when led on a cursed player. I think I can wait a day when he can freely speak. And before you say it yes I have seen lynches against the cursed come out good for the civs but far less times than bad.

I'm also looking at Helios and his silent vote, and Mars. If it weren't for the Kevin Sorbo avatar, I'd have a very hard time telling Herc and Mars apart because of their similar game history and style.

However, if this ends up being a neck and neck race between Phoenix and Pandora, I'll vote for the latter because I'm starting to think that the SK is already dead and I don't see Phoenix as a baddie. I'm not so sure about Pandora though.

Because we had seen four consecutive nights without a Hinzelmann kill and I was starting to think he was already dead. Then he killed Night 6, revealing himself to be still around.

Interesting point about recruitment. Do you think the original Hinzelmann could be dead and a recruit of his is now killing? That would make our analysis of missed votes fairly useless, if true.

I do not think your case on Phoenix is compelling. Searching for Hinzelmann requires proper diligence. Your weak case makes one wonder what side you're on. Continuing to go after Hinzelmann when there is thread evidence condemning those who have teammates gets me to consider that you might have been deceiving us after all.

It would seem to me that the primary thing a last man standing player needs to do to win is to survive, and killing too many of the wrong people would eventually put the spotlight on him. As long as he is a person in good standing with the group (i.e., unlikely to be lynched), he may self-protect as much as possible in order to make sure no one murders him. This is what I think you're doing if you are Hinzelmann, which is completely possible you must admit.

I am not he, and I have no recruit. Sorry to disappoint.

The empirical evidence said nothing about the living or dead status of Hinzelmann. It said IF Hinzelmann is alive, he is likely to be one of these people. I now know he is alive (it is conceivable that he was Chronos, but I think this unlikely) so I am going with what I have.

Is it a coincidence that just after you say Eros has never been suspicious of me, he starts acting suspicious of me, I wonder?

Do you not think the vote evidence relevant to find Hinzlemann? We know he had to to have voted Day 1 and Day 6 (unless he recruited) He could only self-protect 1 day in a row, so he either missed votes or missed PMs in between likely a bit of both. What other candidates are there at this point besides Phoenix? Who else missed votes Day 2 and/or 3?

How is there more thread evidence for teams than Hinzie? Lots of questions from your statements here.

Aphrodite certainly isn't on my side, although I don't know whether she's a civilian or not. I notice you haven't taken many votes this game either, so be careful who you call black, Mr. Pot. :)

I was hoping to get some insight from you on your suspicion of Pluto, but it appears you are unwilling to discuss it.

I recall you voting him for "lolz" as you put it so why should he be bothered? tbh the same thing can be said about you. But I want to add him saying he would kill more if was Hinzelman is like an obv thing to say since in the beginning of the game there was a discussion about this topic and the Hosts said they would let people not use their powers.

Anyway still weighing my vote. I may follow Ceres idk yet.

Also, you were a Wisconsin voter. I think people need to consider that.

I also want to point out that on Day 6, Pluto voted for Phoenix sixth, after Pandora had three votes, and then it got tied up. Pandora's teammate hoping for a save? Entirely possible.

Eros I am not worried if people look at me I have nothing to hide.I am trying to prove myself as we all are. I don't know why the Aphrodite voted Wisconsin. Following that logic got us no where and aren't you one that believes everything WZ says because he said no one got anything for voting Wisconsin. I don't believe that but you may.

Apollo - yes lets [img]http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj18 ... er.gif[img] Are you most sure about Phoenix? More so than Helios, Pluto, Ares or Mars?

OO thanks for looking at Pluto Eros I knew his votes were wonky but had not got to do an analysis.

I think based on objective analysis of the voting record, Phoenix is the most likely to be Hinzelmann, and I want Hinzelmann dead. I suspect Mars of being on one of the baddie teams. I am very nervous about Electra, Ares and Helios for laying so low. Still not sure about Pluto, but Eros' last point makes me wonder. That's why I'm voting the way I am.

Still looking at Artemis for now. Hopefully further discussion reveals more possible suspects.

Fuck!!! My boss pulled in and I have to go to some meeting because they need a girl present. I have no idea what that means but I need to vote I am following Eros line of thought with Pluto. I have had bad feelings about him since my rebornation and wanted to look him over because of his voting pattern.
Sorry I have no more time Vote=Pluto

Consider that Mars has thirty-three posts. Of those posts, nineteen are insane. In other words, more than most of the time Mars has contributed to discussion was incoherent.

well, even though it may seem No-Uey, I would have to say Apollo. It's borderline insane this infatuation he has had with continuing to hold on to me as a suspect with crap evidence.

Additionally, Mars voted for Poseidon, Atremis, Artemis again. Mars also voted for Pandora after it was clear Pandora was on the way out.
