Hi, it's just my usual way to get lynched, when I'm at work and can't defend myself. It's really become a Syndicate tradition so thanks guys, see you next game

What? I didn't "skirt around" anything. Why are you assuming that certain statements will not be Lie Detectable anyway? Does the possible existence of a rule you saw in some other games make it impossible for you to just say "I am a Civvie"? No. So don't tell me I'm the one skirting around things when you choose to only offer statements that could trick a Lie Detector.

Do I think you would intentionally not take part in the kill choice? No. Do I know if you were around in your chat while the choice was happening? No, I do not. Maybe you were busy during that 24 hours, and your team made some necessary decisions on night actions. Maybe you said at the start of the night "Look, I'm not really going to be around, I'm fine with whoever you guys choose". Is that so hard to imagine?

If you want to make a sketchy statement, act like it's ironclad, and then try to turn it around on me for pointing it out, then that's your call. Just don't be surprised, because of course you are going to look suspicious because of it. You got called out for avoiding making a checkable statement, and you are acting like "Oh I know Golden, he would never not take part in a kill decision!" makes it ironclad.

This is your choice. You are choosing to make yourself look this way. You don't have to choose that.

Nut, Dom, timmer, and Rico didn't vote for anyone. We know Nut and Rico were around, but Nut is unlikely Marcus because that would mean a misdirect and I don't see one on the roles list.

Elo voted early but for someone who received little lynch attention for the rest of the day.

DF popped in and also voted for someone who it seemed was not in lynch contention.

Epi, Boom, and TSP all voted in the last minute for people either not in lynch contention or already ahead.

Marcus could be any of these easily, and with two teammates it could make sense for Marcus to throw down a vote on even a suspect and direct their team to make sure that person doesn't get lynched (why I included DF and Elo, two who could have done this easily).

Really, Lorab is the only one cleared from Marcus suspicion.

Also: "Made (speedchuck) (Neverwhere) (insertnamehere) (Boomslang)"... those guys could be Marcus hiding in the big pileup.

Lie Detector rules. The concept that Carlos can't Lie Detect statements that are made for Lie Detection, like "I am one of the Citizens of Night Vale", "I am Civilian", "I'm not Mafia", etc. I don't know if such rules are in place for this game.

Dom, were you not making the point that Golden was skirting answering your questions to him as LD avoidance? I thought I was agreeing with you, but maybe it's entirely my idea.

I can't really recall an instance of teammates doing that. It sounds fun on paper, but does that really happen?

Dom is kind of based on consensus, I've really only played with him once but several people have said that he wasn't quite acting himself and what he posted seemed different from how I remember him in Mass Effect. Also, missing a day

LC just feels off to me. I can't point to anything, and his interactions look fine on paper.

@Speed I didn't really like DF's Day 0 posts, so that's a slight scum read, then he gave a Day 1 post of I'm voting for somebody because weird reasons, which seems unhelpful. Plus, low post count but split between phases, which seems more scummish than missing a phase.

What consensus was there. Cite it. Use people other than Golden.

It looks to me like Dom is pointing out instances of Golden avoiding making a lie-detectable statement. That point really resonates with me, and I'd like Golden to address it, and if possible, debunk it.

I'm going to be frank here folks - my catchup read was done while also listening/conversing with Black Rock and our two mothers, and my mind wasn't exactly focused enough on Mafia to get any deep reads. Or maybe it was just a Day 1 thing, I don't know. I'll try to reread and get some suspicions brewing.
