DH getting votes "for no reason" is something DH said himself repeatedly, so there may have been a consensus in the baddie chatroom that they didn't understand the logic of the suspicion against him. In this way, I think Elo looks mafia.

DH isn't thinking about this from a civ perspective. Civ DH would be way less aggro about Nutella changing her fickle mind, and if he actually suspected her for the behavior (a well-known civ tell of hers), then he would try harder to point towards the nuance of the circimstances instead of losing his cool.
