Because I can sympathize with the place sprityo is coming from with his vouch for another person, whereas Luna just claimed an ability that she could have easily made up when she was about to get lynched. Very different situations and stakes.

I think Luna is town personally. She's being really opportunistic right now, and not jive-ing with peoples' logic, and that's... pretty normal IMO. Scum Luna is usually more reserved and careful.
