Re: Pandas vs Trash Pandas [Day 2]
I'm glad you're willing to approach the game in a way that you can contribute.
That said, I honestly don't understand the argument that NAA and Urist are trolling.
Imo, NAA is stating reads, interacting with players, and pushing a night-action strategy that he thinks is optimal.
Imo, Urist is advocating for players to play in a manner that gives scum little information to plan around. He thinks that's optimal. I completely disagree, and think it's kinda scummy he's pushing that.
But I don't understand how you see it as trolling. If you don't want to talk about it, feel free to ignore this post. I'm stating what I see, and it's clearly not what you see.

I didn't talk about fingersplints Day 1 at all, which means at no point in this game have I suggested/pushed someone who is town.

Re: Pandas vs Trash Pandas [Day 2]
Why would you shoot myself and DDL (townreads) before you would shoot hk (a null read)?
Too many townreads isn't a terrible thing. It can be slightly scum-indicative (because scum have to force scum reads on town players, and it's easier to TR them since they know they're town). I don't think that's the case here. You do have some nuance at least, which is nice in narrowing down a POE.

I do believe it behooves us to have Nanook hold his cards close to his chest, as he's doing. I don't believe that everyone else should do the same, at least in regards to giving reads. (They probably should when it comes to talking about night targets).
But Nanook playing discretely means that the rest of us still have to work to give him information to work with. Otherwise we might as well just let him rand his shot every day. I haven't run the numbers on that, but town's odds of winning are likely pretty low if we do that.

What i meant was that if i was a wolf i would kill the player who got cleared off Michelle’s death by pushing her, leading her getting shot by Nanook, or ddl who voted her right before Nanook shot her or i would fear kill a legendary player like Dizzy or at least a loud voice. Not fingertips who made no impact whatsoever on day 1.
The only explanation for that kill is that scum feared me getting protected by one of the 10 doctors and went for a doc dodge kill.
I don't think those two thing are mutually inclusive, but sure it is possible.

I'd certainly believe it.
I think mafia will be very inclined to shoot townies who are not Nanook and who are not likely to draw a stray protect, in an attempt to dwindle numbers. Fingersplints was quiet enough that she probably wasn't going to draw such a protect.

Regardless, I do feel comfortable in calling DDL town. He had some moments I didn't like early Day 1, but he did vote Michelle (a very minor townie thing given votes are meaningless, I know), but also if Dizzy calls him town after his vote for Michelle, I do believe that if Dizzy is town, his read is probably accurate, and if Dizzy is scum, that is a mild pocket attempt, not openwolfing.
DDL and Dizzy had enough extremely engaged interactions in this game, that I don't believe they are partnery.

I reread Dizzy's ISO. Mean is not the word that I'd use to describe him, where did you see that @Dragon D. Luffy?
Dizzy's posts where he called myself and Michelle "ok" doesn't look good in light of Michelle flipping wolf.
In particular because this is Dizzy's only mention of Michelle, and it's a very mild read at that based on nothing in particular (though vibe reads are very real thins, I just don't see a reason for it here). I'm gathering that Dizzy is calling us both town in this post, can you clarify @Dyslexicon?

Re: Pandas vs Trash Pandas [Day 1]
I think we only get two mis-elims if none of our protects go through, if we get one successful protect in Night 1 or Night 2, we enter Day 3 with 11 players left and can still mis-elim.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 5:00 pm 2 mischops only feels unfair tbh. I think I felt the same last game lol.
If scum nail all their kills Night 1 and 2, we enter Day 3 with 10 players alive, and yes, that is mylo if we don't elim any scum before then.
Anyway, let's just elim scum so we don't have to worry about that.
