X suspected Y doesn't mean that X needs to check Y. X checks Z but should probably put some detail as to why Z was checked even if they are suspect to Y.

"I'll figure Z out later." Would've been a great way to indicate as such. It's a matter of breadcrumbs. Also I do. The cop is a very important role and shpuld be treated as such.

I remember skimming something about Mac or DDL claiming something. But I couldn't find the exact post/wording whenever it occurred.
