That just tends to result in a null read, not a wolf read. It was unclear to me why you landed on the latter.

What do you consider a true suspicion? Is not finding a reason to call someone town a true suspicion?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 8:29 pmThe wording of this confuses me, but if I understand: there’s not much to say. Tony always does that. It’s pretty NAI. I think you said as much, which is why I barely considered it to be true “suspicion” (and considered possible compatibility).DrWilgy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 8:27 pmNot reallyJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 12:46 am Wilgy and Tony are an interesting fit together. As a single pre-flip association, this read has limited value. But it'll inspire a more dedicated review of associations. I hope there's enough to work with.
I think chin scratching as opposed to offering thoughts about how I read Tony and potential insights to the "fire from hip" commentary I provided would've been more helpful than a lack of response into suspicion.
If so that existed. Tony was a player that I had to reason to think was town.

Am I wrong in how I view Tony's play? Is there a a better sense of progression you get from the slot as opposed to me?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 12:02 pm Some Wilgy concerns:
Spoiler: show
The only standout example of classically Wilgyan hunting, and it didn't amount to anything.
Spoiler: show
Wilgy didn't explain his Tony suspicion. He did explain his falcon suspicion, though I'm not sure it was respectful of falcon's town range. He criticized falcon for "not moving the thread", and I am not sure town falcon moves threads all that often.
I find this to be the single most suspicious line of Wilgy's (and perhaps in the game overall). I am not accustomed to Wilgy being so agreeable with boring shrug votes like Princess Abigail was on Day 1, and this rationale seems unWilgy-like. Especially that HOWEVER portion is kind of hard to stomach. If he is less friendly to generic slanker eliminations in general (which I would describe Wilgy to be), and he has recent memories of PA being town in the slanker body, then why endorse that wagon without any resistance or demanding something more of her other voters?
I don't know what these reasons were apart from motobot. Wilgy attributed that to Epi's read on motobot.
Spoiler: show
Just looks a little phony. I had considered that it might signal a Wilgy/Tony pair, but even without that it's iffy in isolation.
Spoiler: show
I really need to know where this read stands as of today.

Out of the playing players, I think TSP and Falc are the wolfier. Falc W > TSP W though.
Out of the not really here players PAbigail is probably the best vote. They were just not here enough to warrant votes compared to the rest of them. Further PAbigail not really having anything to add following catchup is bleh. I do have hestitate as I've seen this cold footed PAbigail recently be town, HOWEVER that doesn't constitute a reason to not vote them.
Scotty, LC, JJJ, Epi, Moto all have reasons as to why I wouldn't vote so that's fun.
D1 PoE put your consensus between {AbigailS, Falc, LoRab, Sig, Simon, TSP}
The tldr was: Epi appears within town range. Scotty's thoughts on expectations was really good. LC I don't sense an agenda from. Jay's activity and agreement with my reads is probably better to take as like/like thinking as opposed to sheep/pocket for now. Moto has Epi's vouch.

My brain has observed a pattern with Jay that appears wolfy. I will probably require a flip to solve. Do I push for said flip and vote there or allow the opportunity for a Jay solve that's often highly beneficial for town?
Probably should yeet Falc.
No other thoughts.
Oh, Sig is probably town.
I don't really remember much else from my skin so what I advised from D1 still applies.

Re: Kagemusha (D1)
I shouldn't have given Falc the day pass. POE is too big for that.
Falc feels not like town Falc. If I'm hunting for W I vote there.

hahaha, I'm dumb.DrWilgy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 9:22 pm thinks going into eod.
D1 PoE put your consensus between {AbigailS, Falc, LoRab, Sig, Simon, TSP}
AbigailS is not Abigals. I misread my own PoE while typing and didn't finish.
it's actually {AbigalS, Falc, LoRab, PAbigail, Sig, Simon, TSP}
AbigailS not being Abigails means I need to includ properly PAbigail. A 7 player PoE is kinda gross, but I'm unsure if it gets better than that.

It's just gut.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 9:24 pm I am on board with the POE, Wilgy. I don't really see it with Tony, but I am willing to listen on that one.
I do often find myself on this issue with Tony though. Tony's posts always have a 'shoot from the hip' feel to me and that often makes me think that progression is splotchy if not missing and that generally leads to dissonance with how I read.
SO yeah, gut read Tony W but I often gut read Tony W, so I'm hesitant to trust that without the input of others.

Unless activity level changes do you think we ever catch W Jay this game?falcon45ca wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 6:35 pmJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 6:30 pm I'm going to be straight:
I have no clue about this game. My reads do come from my brain, but they feel barely better than arbitrary. I am not even close to finding comfortable footing or knowing what I am doing in this thread. While that is attributable to some degree to the state of the thread itself, I am probably also tired, old, and out of practice.

Why thoughTonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 5:54 pm Ok I’m gonna say it — feels likely that Moto has BTSC as far as I can tell. Yes I’m aware that outing this information could be seen as anti-town and that anyone choosing to act on it in thread may reveal more information than is prudent to reveal. Yes I’m aware that at a level 1 reading this phrasing would be an implication that I do not have BTSC with Moto and thus would reveal percentage points of valuable information. I don’t care, I’m better than that.
