Thanks for being a good sport too.
(for the record, nutella isn't lying. I was trying to get her to put her vote on me and switch at the last second. Grr.)
And for the record, Kites, I've been directing you wherever I want every night since you were recruited into badguyia. Secondary power. Frustrating that you THOUGHT you targeted Kylemii, and it just happened to almost get me killed.

I could go for this as well
Also I want us to think about Jay's death some more, the mafia had the most to gain through lynching him and I seem to recall MAc and Epi pushing his lynch.
Mac is imo seen as one of the best scum players as is Epi why wouldn't they be picked?
If someone who's been around the block before had anything to do with the mafia pick Mac would be high up he won the GoC in 2015 (?) as well as many other games as mafia. He's also seems to be leading us on a path of destruction.
IF we don't get results soon I suggest looking back over Epi, Nutella, and Mac. I wouldn't be surprised if we had one mafia within that group.

Some base points:
~ Never lynch the following players: speedchuck, MacDougall, Dragon D. Luffy
~ These are civilian reads, though I would encourage vigilant investigation anyway: nutella, lapluie, Kylemii, gwilikers6, Kenway, Kites
~ I think he looks like a civilian, though my tinfoil is twitching: rundontwalk
~ I think read this guy as a civilian, but he has nonetheless done what I perceive to be a lot of damage to the game. This is not some petulant gripe, this is serious: he has contributed to the worsening climate for dunya, who was an obvious civilian (speedchuck carries on that credit). He has been rigidly confident in his read on me without having lynched a separate mafioso first, meaning he thinks he can snag me without interactive clues. He still hasn't done shit with his exercise. These don't have to make him bad, but if y'all fail to press him on these issues and any other you identify, then you are asking for it.
~ I have no reason to give any of these people civilian credit or otherwise have active suspicion of them: colonialbob, DrWilgy, Iron_Dwarf, Long Con, Marmot, sprityo, Quin
~ My top suspect is DrWilgy. Beyond the fake dunya crap, I also think he's by nature a high-chance don selection. Everybody loves Wilgy and would be pleased to have his unpredictable nonsense on their team with them.
~ USE YOUR DAMNED P.O.E. Make your cases and pursue them with fervor, but do not overestimate your own capacity to see through people. So far it hasn't gone well. Finding the first one is always the hardest part. Rely more on your civilian reads and work together.

Firstly, who said this was a lost cause? Pointing out that the situation is fucked doesn't mean it's a lost cause. When I raised the point that I felt it was a pseudo lylo I didn't imply that if we lynched a civ I was going to give up, nor did I imply anybody should. I was pointing out that it was a very important day to get right. We got it wrong. So tomorrow is worse.
Secondly, why are you refuting that the situation is dire? The situation IS dire. We need to be better moving forward. If we go around thinking it's fucking roses then half the town will phone in their shit again.
What is with the timing of raising the point though? I can't see anyone bemoaning that the civs are doomed? The timing of the post is fucking weird.

So 24 roles, 5 civs dead, 5 mafia, that leaves civs 14-5, 13-5 after tonight assuming just a mafia kill.
Problem is, of course, plurality lynches mean mafia can do significant damage with those numbers, but I think they're still high enough that they can't just take over. But we do really need to catch one tomorrow.

And this is role madness we could randomly kill two mafia tonight for all I know.

Why are people bemoaning how doomed the civilians are? It's been three phases. This started with more people than Mortal Kombat, the same number of mafia, no independents (MK had two), and the first mafia member in MK wasn't lynched until Day 5. Granted the civilians lost ultimately, but it was a toss-up until the end.
I don't get the fatalism.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 3]
Jay knows he's living, that's why he's still posting. He'll be like "oh yay you guys, sucks Iron Dwarf is a civ" and then nobody will vote for him tomorrow because reasons.

Lapluie crying out that we are about to mislynch you (if you are a civ) is about the biggest scumslip in the game so far.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:36 pmThat's about how much people have listened to me so far, I guess. What do I know, I've played this game like three times.MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:35 pmUm no, if you die and flip civ she becomes a red skittle.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:18 pmNeither are you. Why did you reply to my initial post as though you were disputing my point if you agree with it!?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 10:08 pm Also Mac, I am literally calling for nobody to change their votes again in this phase. If the tally doesn't move a millimeter, it'd be PERFECT. I don't want people chopping and changing votes; that's the opposite of what I have called for.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 3]
Jimmy, are you saying that you'd rather an EOD with a game full of people chopping and changing their votes on a whim? We've just used an entire day's play, there are wagons, cases, rationalisations have been made. There were 2 full days before it. There is no fucking reason why anyone would have to wait until they have an epiphany with an hour to spare to change their vote. That is so pro-mafia it's ridiculous. Let's make the Mafia stand out like dogs balls to do what they have to do. Let's not allow for a thread environment that could allow the Mafia to "accidentally" mislynch a civ and not have to answer for it.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 3]
If I was a civilian and I showed up to place my civilian vote on a person I think is Mafia and I have no idea what the vote tally is and then by the time I actually figure it out and cast my vote there has been 10 linki vote changes, I would probably just go and watch porn instead.
