Hey gang, I'm going to assemble a highlights video for the game. It's pointless to save and compile every single recording, because nobody on this planet or any other will ever listen to that. If you could come up with 1-5 posts or so that you think are your best/most important/most interesting/most whatever, I will include them in the highlights. Also, if there is any particular posts from other(s) you absolutely want to see included, say so.

I think that's the real problem here.

And while I think this was a good game, it's something to consider. If you record for five minutes and come to 2 or 3 solutions, RERECORD! Put your thoughts in order, spit them out, and don't worry about seeming authentic in tone. Authentic thoughts will overpower that, and if anyone asks about your composure, tell them you're putting priority on other players' time.

Yes, I recognize that some of my early posts were rambly. I corrected that later, after ranting this at myself privately.

I'm not mad, I'm just putting this out there in case Vocaroo 3 happens. If the players can't handle it, I recommend a recording-length limit or a post/hour limit. Specifically for Vocaroo.

But that's my opinion. I've never failed to keep up (not catch up, KEEP up) with a game before. It destroys motivation.

I agree with all of this. I would definitely play different in vocaroo 3, if I were to join knowing what I know from this game. why r u so damn eloquent!?

you guys obv aren't familiar with high content mafia games, because take this game and multiply it by 10 high posters and a fast paced game is pretty normal. granted in vocaroo it's harder to catch up, but it's also impossible to ask people to change how they play in an already awkward setting that makes it even more awkward.

I might be bored enough to do it before the Vocaroo links expire, though it'd be across multiple videos this time. I doubt anyone will ever care to listen through them though.

The idea is that, if you assume, as Jay did, that there's two power roles for the civilians, and one for the mafia, then you are torn between lynching your civilian power role or the mafia power role. I was hoping it came to that, but it didn't.

yeah, exactly. I don't think it would work in a side-mission, but it works perfectly in a heist. The way the game phased out didn't give him time to check sloonei, but if he had, and with an old tinfoil, not sure what would have happened.

gg. I enjoyed it greatly, despite some hiccups along the way. I was really self conscious and nervous about arguing / defending myself, since I have had personal struggles with defending myself ever since I was a kid and it felt almost personal when someone accused me of something with their voice. It was weird. It's not the same as reading someone call you a lying bitch tbh...

But I appreciated the new experience, even if I got frustrated a few times. I appreciate the encouragement Epi and juliets gave me a lot! I'm sorry to Eloh, and I love you!

also, Tink--amazing fake role claim. 8 years old and more ballsy than me.

She's a mafia goddess and really did turn this game around with her claim. She may have died Night 2, but she's one of the reasons we had such and easy POE stage.
