Agreed. I have never claimed to be town, I haven't really acted towny ever (except when I tried with tunnelling obvwolf Marmot, and was told that 'suspecting a wolf noone else suspects is in itself wolfy'), and found that was too much effort for too little reward, lol.

Having had a fair success as a wolf over the years, I posit that generally wolves do best by pretending to be town, not by pretending to be 3P, who town is generally eager to slaughter almost as much as wolves.

You don't have to hit ME over the head with a pitchfork more than 4-5 times for me to get the picture. I'll be back to vote.

Also, is PC an actual NPC? They must be having lots of fun in there, that would be frustrating, not being able to actually win, so they must be enjoying the game to be one of the most active players. And having fun is the point. Kudos to you PC, even if you want me dead.

TBH, I am pleased to even still be here, I expected to be chopped yesterday, and it was fun engaging in shenanigans that kept me here another day (although maybe not so fun for Scotty). Early in the game, I tried to provoke two people to freak out (sorry not fair, but true). Nanook did not specifically forbid it, and I didn't ask. He didn't give me grief after so I'm guessing it was ok.

First there was Rondo. Based on past experience, I expected him to huff and puff and say *SOMETHING* I could use. But he didn't. He actually seemed a bit abashed, and I felt bad about it.
then I tried to tip my BFF Kate, lol, cause I thought I could (which was also not very nice of me; after this I never bothered trying again). I figured I could push her buttons, but I either tried too hard or I tried too soft. It didn't work, either. I "Jesus Christed" her and then referred to another post she had made about me and the Lost Wolf TMI in a way that was kinda designed to piss her off.

So i was taking active steps to achieve my win con, and anyone who has played with me before (looking at you Golden) knows these posts are waaaaaay out of character for me.

But as I said, I've had a good run. This was not the ideal role for me since I am prolly the most emo person in this thread. So knock yourselves out and eliminate me.

But know that I'm telling the truth.

I've never played a game with so much overnight chatter.

And I do have KP, but it's super conditional. Not unlike Neons, but a bit harder to achieve. I definitely wouldn't call myself a "serial killer"; I can literally kill one person who got too emo after I gather a group of them. I haven't been able to kill anyone, and I doubt at this stage that I will.

I plan to pop in when I can, read the last page (there were 7 pages of posts since I posted last night when i came in this morning, lol. I'm not reading all that) answer any @'s, and try to make an informed vote.

There's 12 of us alive (counting PC as 1), of that probably 1-2 baddie team members, 1 Mod Squad (I've heard people supposing 3 total MS but is there a reason why? If so i missed it). I doubt there is a traditional SK, Neon was town. Sig only killed one person afaik. So he might have a conditional thing like me? But he seems to have been fairly active in thread, and only killed one person, so i doubt he's an SK, either. All the other deaths seem to be accounted for?

Since when did mafia need to have the entire wagon to coordinate a CFD? It takes one threading the flood to make it happen then people playing along. In this case 2 mafia and you + 2 town can make it happen not that hard to do.

Especially when one of those town members is gullio who isn’t really caught up

I'm pretty sure I do now, but I did not expect it. I saw Michelles post last night before I went to bed. I came in here this AM expecting to find myself dead. So yeah, I did know I wouldn't die voting Mac, but I also saw how people reacted to PC announcing they had a vest afterwards, so I don't expect had Mac shot me, that any one would have let me off, anyhow. So i was like whatever.

So don't worry about revoking my civvie cred, Golden. I figure everyone else pretty much knew that and didn't need you to tell them.

So yeah, I'm 3P. I'm a "Death to AtE Monitor", which I found incredibly ironic since I was pretty much the person they were meant to catch, lmao. Not sure if nanook was aware of this when he gave me this role, and was laughing his ass off, or it was a coincidence. On Day one that one guy, HK, told someone to "fuck off". As far as I could tell, other than myself, no one else really did much of that. Although maybe if i had tried harder to read the thread and worried less about looking town, I might have caught more. I could have gotten a gun after catching a specific number, and shot within that group. I don't love role claiming, but it happens, and I don't expect that the non-fiery crowd will believe it anyhow.

And for all the people who said I was "anti-town", um no. As far as I know, I could win with the town; I could also win with the Mafia. I had to live and shoot an emo person; there was nothing in my win con about LMS. It was a fairly boring win con, and I never fully invested myself in the game. It was also something I expected to win, since I haven't really read half the thread. I literally gave up on page 18, I was basically reading the current thread when i was here, and replying to my @'s. I apologize to the host and players for that, I played a crappy game, and considering how much Nanook hates AtE, he definitely deserved better. But I honestly did not do one "anti town" thing.

Also sorry specifically to Michelle. While it didn't occur to me that my vest would also protect me against day actions (I don't have much experience with Day actions), I still could have warned you I had it I guess, but tbh, like I said, would you even have believed me?

Becasue I wasn't afraid to take a chance. I did not 100% understand the logic behind it, other than baddies would be less likely to screw their team that way. I had no reason to think Scotty or Mac were bad, and if they suggested it, I had no problems with it. I've been incredibly behind, and somewhat disinterested as well. Too big. So if I died that way to help town, OK.

I ISO'd them (when they were getting no suspish from anyone else iirc) voted for them repeatedly, tried to get a vig to kill them, argued with the town leader that Marmot was bad, very seriously expected to get shot last night becasue Neon seemed very irate that I thought Marmot was bad. The only fire and aggression I've shown or felt in the game, BTW. This game people have been clearing Marmot becasue a known teammate voted for them OVER another known teammate with a kill, as opposed to marmots trees. And I tried very hard to get rid of them, but I'm bussing, lol.

On a tangent, @Party Crasher why are you voting for sig? Afaik, he's lock town. When he killed Alison, I was not a fan of all the posts implying sig could not have just gotten a lucky shot through some astute reading. It's why I pulled the tie breaker out (Scotty pulled it out first, iirc, I brought it back out when people kept annoying trying to tie the wagons). It all felt kinda condescending at the time, "Oh Alison fooled me, no way i could be as simple as she didn't fool sig, and he shot her." Why is it so unbelievable that sig shot Alison? It's like people never heard of Occams Razor this game.

You think baddies don't vote for each other? And when two wagons are both bad, and it would look awful for a baddie not to vote on one of them? The only thing that clears anyone is a flip. Voting for or against someone doesn't clear someone. And I'm surprised you think it does.

You guys clear people too easily for things like this. I've played on bad teams where the entire team only voted for other baddies the whole game, it was like a challenge lol. We didn't win but it was a blast in chat.

One game here Tangrowth (my teammate) came out hard on me day one, they wound up getting chopped, and I wound up going to the end becasue that gave me faux, bullshit, fake civ cred. The number one agenda of any baddie team is not killing people, it's escaping chops, and fake civ cred is the way to go.
