I misunderstood my own role and thought I could win with town if I had one/one parity on a night when I didn’t kill.

I was trying for that, and then I inherited the kill, which I didn’t know would happen. When I asked to clarify, i was told I could NEVER win with town.

Doh.

I probably would not have worked so hard to elim the baddies, leaving myself alone with 8 role claiming civvies.

I don't know that I agree re Santy; it seemed to me, this AM, at least, that they jumped on an opportunity to yeet Dennis without really looking/listening, It felt somewhat opportunistic to me.

Sloonei, he finally shows up to bring some data, and TBH his associative reads of Miranda gave me the only pause I had in three days about her being bad. But she was the last, so idk. He's made some questionable votes, imo. At this stage I could vote for him or Santy.

Once I decided you were town I stopped paying attention except for reads. I haven’t seen anything alarming since then

Having read back, I realize that what I viewed as questionable votes all related to a faction that has been eliminated, so imma call bad judgment on Sloonei rather than bad role card.

So for now, I'm dropping that third vote on Santy. He seemed opportunistic, and reading back on the Pissing Contest with Mac, knowing Mac was town, he looks worse to me.

I will be in and out until EOD if I have to move a vote, but I have to go eat dinner now.

I read back on Dennis and Tutuu today, and while I plan to read you too, but I do I think Dennis is being truthful, and I think a read of Tutuu with this in mind punctuates that point.

Having been mono focused for days, I’m a bit at sea right now. I’ll be home shortly, want to read some more, but I’ll be around to vote.

My experience with Tutuu is limited to being hosted by them, and playing with them when they were part of a Hydra in GOC.

Looking back at Tutuus post, they were TRing Mighty as well. And Dennis prompted one of tutuus reads of Mighty.

Because alot of what I think of this Dennis/Mighty thing is informed by some fairly solid thread evidence that Tutuu was in chat with them; more so clearly with Dennis, but possibly also with Mighty.

Looking back at the kills, we had three each on night one and two, and one each on three four and five. The one on five was after the WC elimination and the kill passed.

So it is possible that the extra non-WC kills the first few days were vig shots? Or conditional kills, like a community kill? I haven't seen where anyone has claimed vig, or flipped vig. I know that when I get one/two use powers, I tend to use them early. Maybe that the kill passed to a team that didn't have a kill before?

Someone else said that, I think. I don't recall ever seeing that done here, a kill passing to someone who didn't previously have a kill (but I had a several year gap where I didn't play, so my experience doesn't mean it's current practice); it that a thing at SDN?

I think when WC faction died partner MR7 tried to help Dennis make a believable fake claim using my assumption that Dennis had softed masons with Tutuu.

I made the same assumption earlier in the game, when Tutuu was still alive. Their fairly hard defense of Dennis based solely on meta, that I didn't think was 100% accurate, stood out to me; his game play in Cartomancy which iirc was his first baddie role, was total "IDGAF" how he looked, and Tutuu is a very observant person. I'm not sure I think she would make the call she made on Dennis without BTS.

This series of posts kind of cemented it for me. So I do think Tutuu had BTS with Dennis at some point.

I also know to my mind, when I am bad, I am always on the lookout for civ BTS, and want to squash it as soon as I see it. Civs talking freely without the baddies knowing what they are saying is mega dangerous for woofs. So I personally never thought broadcasting it was a good idea. I can't remember the last time I had civ BTS, though. Not since I came back from break. So it could be more of a cultural thing on *my* part.

But I don't understand why he fake claimed at a time when everyone in the thread was claiming all over the place, lol.

Early on, I leaned bad on him, but after Tutuus read I put him in my civ stack, and haven't really paid attention to him much since then. I don't have much of a read on Mighty either; they haven't done or said much to get my attention, flying under the radar as it were. So I'll be rereading them, and Tutuu as well.

So in our last installment, Miranda said she just couldn't read Genny! Shucks. Then she says vv that down there. She's ok voting for Sean becasue its for the same reason she'd vote for Genny (who she said she can't read).

That post up there was about 11:30 AM. At 4:55 she changes her mind, and votes for Genny, after being poked by Santy, about why she isn't voting for Genny based on Mayos read of the situation.
"I have no problem voting for Genny", she says, almost as if it is a dare.

THEN, after reiterating that she thinks Sean and Genny (who she has trouble reading) are equivalent in her mind, she apparently decides she DOES have a problem voting for Genny, cause she then votes for Santy, in a last ditch Mac pocket.

That ^^ was at 8:10. About 45 minutes later she tries to get Genny to engage. Genny, who will you vote for? Who do you think is bad? And gave Genny the opening to drop her role claim (which turned out to be true! I had my reasons for doubting it, but it was true).

Early in the game, in a read of Miranda, I called her "soft and nubbish". I said this becasue she came across as a nice person, who wasn't quite sure what she was doing. I'm partially retracting that; I still think she comes across as a nice person, I've seen much more experienced people than her lose their shit from this kind of unmitigated focus. But she kept her cool, and played a really good game. Definitely not nubbish, though.

2.While not exactly the same as Zenge/falcon back and forth, I guess I struggle to put her in lock town because she’s laser focused on me. I can’t exactly be like “OMG SVS is wolfy” because then that’s retaliatory, but the fact that she is insistent on me gives me pause…
Sorry, but I don’t feel like this actually answered either of my questions.

This makes it seem like you pushed a Nate suspicion without actually knowing why you were pushing it. Can you explain why, specifically, you suspected Nate? And has that read changed at all?

Also, if you had to give a read on SVS, no neutral stance allowed, what would it be?
I would hardly call me saying something was interesting was a push. Especially within a matter of moments it was clarified that it was a town slip and not a wolf slip. It was momentary confusion of me trying to get caught up.
In my most recent read I had Nate as town lean. Are you sure you read all my post? Lol

There is never only one left. It's 2 - 4 depending on independents.

Since my previous Miranda posts mainly focused on her reads and votes re Falcon, Creature and Marmot, I want to focus on Genny here, Day 4, and the lead up to it. Of her 97 posts, 21 mention Genny. Quite a few of them are not actual mentions, just quotes of lists and posts containing Gennys name.

This is Mirandas first mention of Genny (other than a bantering Zero post about thread features. She did not mention her or interact with her at all before this point.
Everyone is town or neutral, (except Lawpy, who was that days yeet). Genny included, and she elaborated that Genny was a challenging read for her.

When Mighty questioned her on why almost no one seemed to be bad, she said it was becasue she was polite. And I agree 100% here, she is exceeding polite and gracious, and has been a joy to play with. But you can hunt baddies and still be polite. Also, she town or neutral read everyone except Lawpy, who was basically outed, on poor cell signals. No real discussion of Genny, since this just quotes her reads list.

The next one was another quote of the reads list with Mighty, and doesn't discuss Genny, so Skipping that one.
Posts #3586 was asking Sean and Genny for more and, and mentioning how crunched for time she was. Immediately after that she voted Lawpy. This was Weds the 26th, close to EOD.
Next mention on Genny, I had asked her Fri AM, Day 4, her thoughts on Sean and Genny, since they were Tutuus (who had been NK Night 3) main suspects, and since she herself had asked them for more input,

Again, she herself is busy. She thinks they are neutral, and thinks Genny is playing like her last *town* game. So why the neutral? Hedging a bit, IMO. When I ask her why everyone is town/Neutral on her list, she said it was becasue she was busy, and sassed me a bit with a smilie (the only time she did so, and I know I can be obnoxiously persistent and annoying, so I can't blame her.

Then Mac told her to ask him questions, and she scrambled off of her iffy read on him so hard, I'd be surprised if she didn't fall down. This might be where her pocketing of mac began? That'll have to be another post. Like in her very next post after this, she pulls a post from Mac v. Santy pissing contest, and makes a remark about how she loves Macs sass.

I have to agree, the point of that was to set up Santy.

From my perspective, Miranda had been pocketing Mac for a few days now. But I think he might have had a different perspective after Gennys yeet, and might have outlived his usefullness to Miranda as well.

Nate just feels like Nate to me.

I DID look into falcon and creature, just because I didn’t do a million quotes doesn’t mean I didn’t

I did place suspicion on creature and I regrettably went with marmot because I honestly felt better about those voting there at that time. Especially since I had limited time I didn’t really have a lot to go on.
I clearly stated, I’m going marmot today and will vote creature next.

Also I addressed Nate, I do try to read everything, even if I might not comment on everything.

This was just an observation, but a telling one. You should really read her ISO. AM died Night 1, Sporty died night 2. She never did that ISO on SDN Miranda.

Thank you for this, it rings true and helps me slot stuff into place. Like I know Mac has lied for reaction, whatever, when he's civ. But I didn't think he would lie about this. And I recall Tutuu even mentioned him being poisoned. And he and Tutuu were very much trusting each other, I could see her doing that.
