I kinda like that for the kills because it means that I can say I gave Jay a gun, the gun backfires and you don't know if there was another fake gun given that overrode mine, if mine was sabotaged or if I gave Jay a fake gun.

It just gets problematic when scum literally can't give but all townies can.

Sure, it's not a "clearance". It isn't nothing either though. One way or another, poutanko knows that I received a vest. Either she is a blacksmith or she is on the communist team.

Disagree. Last scum on the Epi/DDL team has to claim to have given someone something without actually doing so. So they have to successfully guess that a certain player got a certain thing.

If I was scum and needed to make that guess, I'd guess Jay gets a vest N1. It's the most obvious pick for someone else to make.

Say Sabie gave you a real vest last night and it was the only vest you got. You don't know that only Sabie gave you a vest. Sabie doesn't know that only she gave you a vest. She could counterclaim Pou or not counterclaim and either way, we aren't closer to catching Pou.

I do think that this setup is pretty townsided unless sabatour destroys all gifts so you can have Townie A say they gave a gun to Townie B and Townie B say they got no guns. Probably works better with janitored role flips (not alignments) too or an anticlaim kill.

You wanna minimize townies being able to self confirm through gifts and minimize scum outting by not being able to give gifts.

I've hosted two Texas Justice games. Both involved shots in the first post. You guys are more restrained than I.

I don't necessarily disagree. The analytic impact of GTH reads are often secondary to the activity they produce. On occasion they end up producing meaningful insight (I thought they did in Shockheaded Peter). Sometimes they just exist though.

Yeah, in SHP, I was able to case townies based off gth.

Anywho, in the interest of converging on a last white team mafia (dictators?), I’ve isoed Sabie. Still looks pretty townie to me. No interaction with DDL and little interaction with Epi. I’m going to go see what they say about her.

I pushed gth on D1 because I like games within games, not because I really get that much out of it.

It’s so freeing to be able to say this stuff. I hope it drives Jay nuts.

Based on those interactions, I do not believe Leetic was teamed with DDL and Epi.

The part where DDL tells Leetic Epi’s meta is the part that feels most like two teammates not talking about a third. Also, up until Epi posted the mean girls gif, that exchange didn’t look like teammates. The mean girls gif is kinda like “lettuce end this theatre” but that’s not really Epi style.

So yeah, probably not teamed imo.

I don’t think day actions count as visits and i can’t be killed during the day except by lynch but it’d still waste a bullet that would be better used elsewhere.

No, I don't think it would be wise for the granny to claim. Which makes me doubt Jack's claim. If someone claims to be granny, it would make scum hesitant to visit them lest they die. If granny does not claim but instead antagonizes the thread, "fishing" to be visited by scum, they then might get a kill.
