I believe that before the Soneji wagon swelled, the prevailing two wagons were on Lunalee and Bullzeye. Owner also had multiple votes.
Do you remember Luna voters and Owner's? I only remember Bullz because I made a note of that.
At a glance it appears their voters did not move to Soneji. Soneji's living voters:

Lunalee - previously voted Bullzeye (?) and karavalenge
Jack - previously voted Glorfindel (who also had a two-vote wagon for a bit I think)
timmer - previously voted karavalenge (brief two vote wagon alongside Luna)

The Owner and Luna voters mostly appear to have stayed put (kara, Colin / INH, DH, Soneji respectively). Anyone should correct me on these things if necessary.
@Lunalee @Jackofhearts2005 @timmerWhat's your current read on those you voted before you guys moved to Soneji? Image
My vote was iirc a placeholder vote when I decided to move it off someone else. Changed my opinion of Luna? Doesn’t really matter. I had a slight suspicion of Glor and still do. Nothing Glor said after I voted for him really changed that read.

I don't fault nutella for that. I am curious as to how these are the names that came out of that shuffling though. I already asked her about Jack and her answer satisfied me in the moment but now that I've got my scrutiny specs on I'm gonna want more. What prompted the initial town read and why has that changed?
Jack's jokey/gimmicky style had me figuring he was town for the first couple phases, but as time went on I started to notice that he hadn't really been contributing real content alongside the jokes, and so I decided I have no legitimate basis on which to townread him and that he could be coasting on the flow of the thread.

Nutella. The vague “okay INH is town” and the “lol I forgot INH is in this game cause we are no w/w” bits aren’t great.

With Luna, it’s all about “awkward” exchanges but I think Luna just sometimes comes across as sketchy. Notice the “awkwardness” is from Luna. There’s not really any from INH.

He's been very manipulative with his voting strategy and his early stated aim to be hallow hunting makes for easy cover for those late votes

I'll try to lay it out better tomorrow
Well, it's very '100% accurate' that I saved Owner on Day 1, not just 'possible'. It was tied between Owner and TH, and I voted TH in the last minute. I don't think the INH vote was that late... it was late in my personal timeline, but there were a couple of hours left in the lynch, and I wasn't in contention for any Hallows that time.

Lay it out better tomorrow, Lit.

nutella wrote: Sun Nov 04, 2018 2:01 am In all seriousness though, lit!timmer might have a point. Even regardless of owner's alignment I could read LC as bad. Looking at his ISO I'ma just pull out the top 3 most suspicious posts at face value:

here
and here
are two examples of eager-as-a-puppy hopping onto other people's potential easy reasons to go after someone

and this
could be what some like to call the "caught for the wrong reasons" tell

ok that was a fun exercise but from looking through his ISO I think he has more posts that leave me with town feelings than posts that don't :shrug2: what might merit deeper analysis is his d2 case against Luna that he seemed pretty confident in a while but he eventually switched to INH, and that could be teammate compatible since I think he'd have reason to be confident that an INH lynch wasn't going to take flight by that point
:ponder:

Well, at least it means LC unlikely teamed with Nutella, Luna, Owner.

The llama method says that baddies are made uncomfortable by direct statements of their alignment. It used to be that they’d have trouble denying their badness at all, but once that became an established tell folks adapted to it. Now the tell, if it really exists, would awkwardly worded answers.

I’ve read like 5 of Jack’s posts but this one had the ring of someone who was being too careful to sound casual.

he's most likely inh teammate fight me
Why?
Day 1, Jay built a case against INH and voted for him.
Jay calls INH out for his player salad, which included Jay
There are multiple other interactions of Jay quoting INH and calling him bad.
So I don't see it.
@nutella you going to respond? This JJJ vote of yours is spicy and fun, but could use some savoury goodness. Here's the opportunity to try out your new recipe.
Tbh it was mostly inspired by the "maaaayybe Jay" in INH's salad post, combined with INH's overall progression on Jay. For a while in his iso it looks like Jay is maybe his top suspect but he drops down to that "maaaayyybe" without much explanation.

So it's sort of a hunch stemming from that, I'm still sorting out whether I think that on the other side of the coin Jay would be likely to have gone after a teammate in the way he went after INH. I was looking for a past game example of Jay bussing, but his only scum game I could remember was the Phenon Origins sock game and that was a weird one where roles weren't revealed and I couldn't quite draw a comparison (also I don't even really remember how it went down, you were the sacrifice right? maybe you could help) so anyway the jury's still kinda out on that
I don’t see this in INH’s iso at all.

I did see this, though, which seems to look more like an accusation than distancing.

alrighty now catching up, but literally popped into the most recent page to post about how I'm townreading Kara the most and wishing that JJJ was in one of his moody self-loathing moods instead of his SUUUUUUUUUPATOWN (PAY ATTENTION TO THE WORDS I SPEAK) moods. Not sure if/how that impacts his alignment, but he's certainly TALKING VERY LOUD, and making GRAND SWEEPING DECLARATIVE STATEMENTS ABOUT THE PROPER WAY TO PLAY MAFIA. It's like he tried posting differently on D1, got a negative response, then reverted back to his standard shtick.

Then, I see this stupid post by Juliets. Juliets, you're a lovely person, and a wonderful fixture in this community, but this is like the second game that you've pushed this weird forced "low-posting INH = bad INH" thing. It's dumb. I'm at a point in my life where my mafia time is limited. I have just finished another game, and started the sign up process for a game that I'm hosting. Yesterday was a holiday. This thread is, in standard Full Job fashion, too damn long. There's no way that I could be whatever the fuck you'd call a "high performing INH" right now. My level of activity is dependent on the length/density of the thread, the amount of games I'm concurrently playing/hosting, and the things happening in my life. Not what alignment I am. So, please kindly stop pushing this idea. It irks me.

Still have like 6 pages to get through. Will continually update with more commentary.

PS: Day 1's are, have been, and always will be random garbage-y crapshoots barring major fuckery.
nutella wrote: Thu Nov 01, 2018 4:25 pm Okay, inh is town
Nutella is too quick to buy INH's response. I get that he's busy and has limited time for mafia. But when he does have time to post, his content still pings me as not fully genuine. Maybe I'm just a skeptic, but giving commentary on what's happening in the game, giving out fluffy/non reads, defending your own meta, and using the "busy" excuse, however true it may be, just makes me more inclined to suspect that you are scum.
So far INH's reads are Kara is town, JJJ looks a "tad suspicious," and Owner should be lynched.
I currently think Kara looks suspicious, and see no reason to town read him. Sort of agree with the JJJ thing, and disagree that Owner should be lynched.
well gee wilikers, I'm sorry that my opinions aren't enough for you Luna. Not sure where the hell you got the "fluffy non-reads" from. Scumreading JJJ, Owner, and Juliets currently. Townreading Kara, because her responses to folks attacking her sound hella genuine to me. Apologies that my ""busy" excuse" just makes you more inclined to scumread me. You're certainly entitled to your own opinion.

If you want to unduly dismiss everything I've said in this game and view it in the most negative possible light for no other substantive reason other than "I'm a skeptic," then, well, you can certainly choose to do that.
Okay, but how do you feel about nutella's quick acceptance that you must be town based on your response?
Not great in the context of her quick condemnation of me earlier. Then again, you were the one who started the whole condemnation conga, based on my dastardly practice of providing commentary on the thread.
Hey, I've noticed scum make long but meaningless posts by providing commentary on the thread before, so when I saw a hint of that in your posts, it set off alarm bells. But lol, you don't feel great about nutella for her quick flop on you, but "I started it" by expressing my suspicions?
But that's not what I did, Luna.

Let me explain: you started the "condemnation conga" by jumping on JJJ's weak case against me with vague-ass reasoning. Then, Nutella jumps on board, then off board. Y'all both don't look great.
Better look for Luna than Nutella but still good for Nutella. INH never lead in votes right?

In terms of content, I do observe that in her mafia performances she was inclined toward individualized player analysis, in the forms of large quote compilations, ISOs, or thorough reads lists, in a way that isn't quite as visible here. Her hunting activity is more reactive and less self-constructed.
Luna is definitely reactionary right now. It reminds me of my earlier mafia career where I would freak out once I realized that I was being eyed. But she seems to be flailing with no idea of an overarching goal. Vote bullz. Don't vote bullz. But vote bullz. But maybe Kara. But no bullz... it's dizzying.
This. Her 3 targets that she's focused on, Bullz, Kara, and me, have all been easy suspicions to come by, and mostly feel like her hopping onto easy suspects already mentioned by others. She criticized me for having too few/weak reads, and only providing "commentary" to the thread, while she herself has been guilty of all of that.

I always read willful hypocrisy as a scumtell. Other folks I'd be down to lynching: Glorf, Owner, and maaaaaybe JJJ. Need to read up on all of three of them before I decisively side against them.

[VOTE: lunalee] aubergine
I'd put Owner and Lunalee in the evil box. And maaaaaybe JJJ. :srsnod:
If Lunalee is bad with INH, I don't expect any of those three to be scum too except maybe Jimmy. That's INH saying "Imma distance but these are options I could switch to so I don't have to bus." You could argue he's not serious about Jimmy so just Glor and Owner are townies from this.

That said I townread Luna* so I tend to think it's actually one of Owner, Glorf and Jay that's teamed with INH. If INH is serious about this vote, the other folks bit would include some distancing.

*I do need to reread Sonjei's case on her knowing that it's something he actually believed.

Regardless, there's no more than one wolf in Luna/Glor/Owner.

I’d rather lynch them than Luna, Bullzeye or Owner.

I don’t have any reason to townread either. Sonjei’s Luna push looks like a known mislynch push. INH’s reactions to pushes on him look kinda suspect.

You have proven yourself adept at identifying mafia when you're civ so I have to seriously consider what you have to say here. What do you see about LC that says he's bad? I have a hell of a time reading him even tho I've played with him for years. And is there anything you would be willing to share about Quin, Glorf, and Kyle? I don't think I've ever seen a bad Glorf so I'd like to know what you see. Thanks for anything you're willing to share.
Forgive me but... :haha: juliets: what on earth gave you a crazy idea like that?
Here’s a thought. If Glor is scum, at least one of these other players is also scum.
Jack, how is Glor being scum relate to the others being scum?
He’s very dismissive of what he shouldn’t give a shit about. If it was just Glor as scum, he’d be okay with a world where Mac actually goes after that crew. But what if there were 3 mafia in that pile? ScumGlor would be worried about that and Glor’s post comes across worried. Like if Mac put me in a five player group and said that was the mafia, I’d ignore it. Glor didnt.
1. I’m very dismissive of what I shouldn’t give a shit about. I’m sorry but doesn’t dismissive = not give a shit? This is simply errant nonsense.

2. If It was JUST me that was Mafia - this comment suggests he has already made up his mind that I’m Mafia based on no case that I’ve read from anyone and while appearing to offer you a logical argument, he’s already trying to persuade you that I’m bad.

3. His argument here is that if I were Mafia with other members of Mac’s list, I’d feel compelled to draw attention to myself by debunking that list. I commented on that list NOT because I am defending anyone - I was commenting on it because I couldn’t believe that you’d take it seriously in the first place (if you haven’t guessed already, I don’t share your confidence in Mac’s reads).

4. Again, Jack claims that if there were THREE Mafia in the list? THREE? Where on earth did he pull that number from? Fear not, I know...

5. If Jack were Mafia and was alone on Mac’s list, he’d simply ignore it. Well, good for him! I’m not Jack and as a member of this Town team, I AM going to defend the ONE person that I absolutely know with 100% certainty is Town from being thrown on Mafia lists and being voted for by people who wouldn’t know my Town meta if they fell over it!
Nahnah.

1. There is a difference between taking the time to call out a good player as shit because he made a fake accusation of you vs ignoring it.

2. That comment supports the statement that IF you are mafia, you aren’t alone on that list.

3. You didn’t say you couldn’t believe she took it seriously. You said Mac isn’t that good at identifying scum.

4. It’s a hypothetical number.

5. If you say so. I think this is known as being overly defensive.

Some games have a rule that you can't LD answers to direct questions, to avoid everyone lining up and saying "I am a Civilian" as an automatic checkable phrase. Also, what happens when Glorf is given Veritaserum? Super-honesty?
The effects of Veritaserum are described in the OPs under set-up, which clearly state it's limitations. Any attempts at a loophole would be grounds for asking the host, not something to go off on a tangent discussing with other players. I am puzzled at why you are asking about it's effect on a specific player, unless it's meant to be a joke as by what I can ascertain from other's posts Glorf has a truth meta.

I don't see a point in this post in furthering town's goals, if anything it reminds mafia of a mechanic they might have forgotten about. It just wants to go off into pure speculation, you don't even bring up any good targets for use of it.

Baseless mechanics talk is a general scumtell for me so :

Soneji wrote: Sun Oct 28, 2018 11:11 pm Didn't know that triggered the voting function here, that was :

My initial take on LC's discussion of mechanics was negative, so I don't fault Soneji for adopting the same view. I highlighted a portion though which rubs the wrong way, in that it's devoid of context. "This is a thing that is suspicious, LC did the thing, thus I vote." The mindset is civilian-compatible, but the delivery irks me. It's less important than what follows in this post.
Soneji wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 11:34 am~~~

I think this has merit, the times when I have caught myself scum slipping it has been on minor things like this. By itself I wouldn't jump on this but that Owner has spent this whole phase tunneled on someone over a previous game adds to their rapsheet.

~~~
These posts from Lunalee all slightly pinged me, the mocking joke in response to TH, the preemptive excuse for voting off leading wagons, the overly long somewhat passive-aggressive post to say he's town and the fact that they prompted this JJJ wagon but only just joined it this late.
Vote Lynch Lunalee
I omitted content from this post to make it smaller. The first portion (red) refers to Owner. All of it reads badly to me. Foremost, I just don't like "when I have caught myself scum slipping it has been on minor things like this" -- it is some vague, unverifiable throwaway comment that anyone can tack on to a post to justify promoting a "slip". Discussion of slips is often controversial, because players split into camps defined by their belief in the likelihood of the phenomenon, and I believe that when bad guys falsely contribute to slip dialogue there's a need to justify such that the controversy is quelled.
The latter portion (green) is just bogus to me. If Owner believes someone is suspicious on the basis of meta, whether her approach seems rational or not, then there's no reason why she wouldn't pursue that suspicion over the course of a day -- particularly when people were asking her about it. That's the image of constancy, but not a sort of constancy driven by the Owner as much as by everyone who questioned Owner. This looks like a smear.
The Lunalee stuff isn't as bothersome, though the orange bit there is not an agreeable assessment of the post in question (click back to Soneji's original post for clarification).
Soneji wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 4:17 pm My Lunalee lynch isn't going anywhere so it seems it's between Owner and TH. Owner had a potential scumslip but it's so slight that I'm not willing to bank on that. TH's push on me is bad and they have had some odd interactions. What edges things out for me is that Luna and TH are voting Owner, while Owner is not voting TH, scum would have to be really unmotivated to not self-pres.
[VOTE: Turnip Head] aubergine
Not sure I buy his suspicion of Turnip Head. The "push on me is bad" assertion traces back to this thing which does nothing for me, and "odd interactions" is essentially meaningless sans-expansion. He finagled his way into a lynch of a player who wanted his head.
