I actually pegged Nova as Wolbre, Quin as Kyle and didn’t know anything about the other factions except the activity levels of the leaders at certain moments in time. So...I wasn’t surprised at Dom’s flip for all the good that did.

I’m pretty junk at guessing players, too. In hind sight, I should have guessed Quin.

Jackofhearts2005 what was your strategy with your Speedchuck call out every phase since day 1?

Unlike some players, I had a strategy for fucking around the first half of the game. I had no win condition until I choose one so my temporary win condition was to not die, which I achieved by being loud but unthreatening.

As for Speedchuck, I started off just messing with him but then it became clear he thought/knew I was 3P and was treating me like a scum player would.

So I did exactly as Speed guessed. I pushed a train on him with the intention of siding with whoever he didn’t flip as. Missed the timing and had to pick a side right before he flipped.

The only problem was that I’m not that good at catching baddies so even thought the numbers were in the right spot for me to switch to the town, I couldn’t close.

Surprised nobody agreed with Speed on the thread.

In seriousness, TH has passed Kyle in my own little read list as top scum but Kyle is quite a way past Wolbre. I’ve never played with either before so my hope is to POE the good/indy guy from the bad by consensus.

When I went after Speed (who was bad), TH was happy to put forth a scenario where I (a townie) should be lynched if I was right.

He was happy to let Scotty take the lead on that and take the fall.

Then when Scotty was lynched, he neither doubled his efforts against me nor re-evaluated them.

He’s just in the corner, occasionally reminding people he thinks I’m bad but has no intention of doing anything about it, even as we rapidly approach game end and the player I voted for at the beginning of the phase is about to hang.

Gth, it’s an excuse to coast. If Kyle’s town, irs an excuse to let him swing.

Why is Kyle not all over TH?

I don’t think Wolbre would even know if Sloonei was indy. No idea why the Wol/Sloon indy theory is popular at all.

What if neither wolbre or kyle are viable options at the end of the day?

Kyle always plays emotionally to some degree, I think. I am reminded of his GOC behavior more when he says things like “my attention is focused elsewhere” and “i’m tired”. I remember him using things like that in self-defense when he was pressured there. But that was also a longer and more drawn-out case against him that took forever to fully come together. I would expect more emotion, regardless of his alignment, on a case like this one which has come together relatively quickly.
He got emotional enough that he felt the need to take a time out and apologize to me later.

I still don't believe that Nova's interactions with Colin gaurantee his innocence as much as you guys seem to think they do.

hmm gth I'd say dunya, but only cus I think th's strategy of declaring war with the sun doesn't necessarily make sense to me in terms of mafia strategy
