Re: Retrocausality Mafia - Day 2: Sig puts his John Hancock down

Also, I already set aside my suspicion of Scotty on your say so, so don't sweat over me. It's Scotty you might have to convince, lol.

I want to move my vote off Kyle, but I'm unsure where I want to put it.

Epi, it's insulting to me that you think I would utilize the OT color for a game strategy. That is an out of bounds move imo. Whether I am bad or good I would never ever put game strategy into OT green. It's a shitty accusation.

Re: Retrocausality Mafia - Day 2: Sig puts his John Hancock down

Kyle, I find the claim questionable. 1. It's a really easy win con. 2. It's weird to put a civ into BTSC with an indy who's only win con is to predict a couple night poll outcomes. Seems more likely a set up to use you for credibility to me. What happens if TH predicts two outcomes and then suddenly gains an extra power or becomes like Lynch immune or something of that nature? There is a danger in just sitting back and watching if he goes away, it may be that he is wanting us to wait until it's too late. This concerns me.

I really don't understand why claims get so readily accepted by some. This is closed set up with no flips. frankly a sacrifice of a single baddie with a false claim can easily lead to multiple civ mislynches. Because we can't prove or disapprove a damn thing. Mac is basing his reads of who is scum upon sig. While I agree that I think sig looked bad, sig frequently looks bad and isn't. The point here is that we don't know anything. I think sig was probably bad too, but I don't know it and I'm not about to go lynch people just because they voted him in a stupid night poll.

Mac, I proved myself to him. It had nothing to do with his role.

Golden, I was starting to worry about you.

In case you can't tell, I don't believe most of the stuff people are saying.

Shit like this bothers me.

If you're bad, you have a chat room to pass this message along.

If you are not bad (or even if you are not), you have the private message function.
Just like you have the private message function to send me one asking me to not put OT messages in the game if you don’t fucking like it. Idgaf. It doesn’t hurt you or anyone else to scroll past a fucking post. Get over it. Or take it to a mod.

Moving on.

Who cares?

He dumped into the thread, and what we got was INH and sig both upset over the message. Neither accused the other. Nether accused Quin. None of that happened. They focused on the message's origin or the consequences it may have for them as individuals rather than for civilians.

That to me is the most important thing, and I could give a toss if Quin was lying or truthful about his message.

Re: Retrocausality Mafia - Day 2: Sig puts his John Hancock down

Yes I realize I changed my mind during the catch up completely on Epi. Should be clear why though.

If Golden is correct about the flavor text (IF) I might hesitate a bit to vote Quin.

I'm not sure where it leaves me though. I still don't think INH is bad. I could see him being 3P like Epi suggests though. But I'd rather lynch people I find actually suspicious first.

Kylemii You haven't asked me what I think of you yet. It makes me think you are bad.

speedchuck Can we consider the host posts as anything more than just flavor for flavor's sake? Or are they completely just flavor?

Golden I wouldn't do what Quin did. the only way I might consider it is if it was a one time use ability. And I would not shoot my mouth off about two people until I felt like I had a handle on which was more suspicious.

This is bullshit.

If you were a civilian, and you knew yourself for a civilian, and Quin got a message saying you and INH were not "aligned," you should have been ready to bury INH.

Instead, you're making up funny theories about the origin of the message.

Nope it isn't, I'm doubtful that the message is good I think its a baddie power. I don't see why that's so odd.

Though seeing how so many people jumped on me maybe I'm wrong and INH is mafia and i'm being pushed by his teammates. BUT I doubt it.
On what basis do you believe this message comes from the forces of evil? Be clear.
I'm a civ
I believe he's a civ
I think it's just as likely that this is a mafia power as a civ power and that thoughts compounded by the fact that nobody else seems to question it.
I think mafia would send a PM saying that one of two civ players aren't civ to get us both lynched and distract the thread from anything else.
See there is very little that could convince me that the other person info has been revealed about is civ if it came down to me or them being civ. Unless I was bad and knew they were civ. If you are civ sig, why are you convinced INH is civ also?
Epignosis wrote: Mon Jun 18, 2018 10:54 pm This is some sloppy shit from sig. That's all I've got to say.

[VOTE: insertnamehere] aubergine
 Ok so lynch all three but INH first?
Golden wrote: Mon Jun 18, 2018 11:08 pm Epi goes from voting his apparent mafia read to his indy read. Then claims his indy read is a mafia read. But if so, what's his sig read been all about, because this all started with the two clearly not being compatible with each other?

And Epi still wants to lynch both of them... even though he now apparently thinks INH is bad, with no evidence that sig would be indy...

His logic is all over the place inconsistent.
I disagree about his logic. As soon as Quin claimed this is where it leads. Lynching all three of them. My concern is if Epi was involved in it. Consider this Golden. IMagine yourself a civ with a power like you believe Quin has. Would you out your power immediately after finding two people were unaligned? Or would you watch them and try to decide which you suspect, build a case on them?

You see the problem we are actually in with this info claim?
MacDougall wrote: Mon Jun 18, 2018 11:16 pm Epignosis are you actually a doctor or were you talking shit? Because there's a bit of an elephant in the room here given Scotty seems to be counter claiming.

This. I am completely baffled by everything being claimed right now. I'm guessing you don't really believe he is town and are covering for who you think is? Or, I don't know, this is all too weird.
Epignosis wrote: Mon Jun 18, 2018 11:35 pm Let's do something more fun.

Fiddler on the Roof. Where I had zero chance of winning but I think I played pretty well. The thing about Mafia is that we don't have the benefit of knowing who the bad guys are at the start so we have to accuse people until we know more and more often than not will be wrong. Even Lord Mac.
I understand how mafia works but let’s review the only cases that have been brought against me

Nutella: this is fake and she’s bad.
Quin: agree
Mac: daisy must’ve told her baddie teammates in their chat that she can’t contribute so they should bus her.
Scotty: It’s weird to find it suspicious that I didn’t vote for the person I was badgering most of the day
Someone else I can’t remember: Daisy is upset because she is scum that got caught for the wrong reasons.

These are literally the worst cases I’ve ever seen on me. Ever. And if I am upset it’s because I’ve felt like a lot of you that I expected to see those cases for the sheer ridiculousness that they are did, did not see it.

But whatever, I’m done talking about this. Unless someone has something worthwhile to discuss with me about some suspicion they have. Otherwise I’m moving on.

Golden, I didn’t actually read that part from INH when I first said I believed he was town. Normally I would say no blackmailing a vote is not civilian minded. However, even after you mentioned it the first time and I saw it my mind wasn’t changed. Because it’s not just, “would a civ do this?” It’s “Would a civ INH do this?” I could very easily see it. It’s INH. I would be more inclined to think he would do it as a civ than a baddie. Though I could see it either way. I don’t find him more suspicious because of it anyway.

idk i just feel a genuine sense of active game solving from spacedaisy. She's making big giant posts that I sometimes end up skimming cus she's put so much thought into them, that's something I associate witb civ space daisy
Big difference here than what I’m used to is her duraflame fire that hasn’t burned out. I don’t know what it means.
I dont either? do you mean that she seems less fatigued?

Ah I see you did expand on why you’d vote me over INH.

But here’s the thing: I already made that observation and also agree that civ metas are not a basis for defense. Your gripe with me seems to be that I didn’t vote golden and put my money where my mouth is. I guess. So to call INH civ because he had the same idea I had is harrowing. If I had just voted golden, would you have looked to vote INh over me if you had the option at the time, considering he made all those observations in a large block post later in the day?
Also, I meant to say I ahve no idea what anything I said about INH has anything to do with you. At all. I don't suspect INH because I can understand where he is coming from, I just think he is wrong. I found you suspect because your words didn't line up with your actions. That is suspicious to me.

Scotty, you didn't just express some vague suspicion, you seemed to be going after Golden, to the point it looked to me like youw ere trying to get him worked up, rather than look for real scum. And then you didn't vote him. No, I would not do that. And I think it is a legitimate reason to suspect you. And I think Colin is civ, sio yeah I'm guessing we're teammates. But I won't know that for sure until the game is over.

I think Daisy’s defence of inh goes beyond thread knowledge. I dunno whether I svhould trust it or not but for now I am.

Even if it’s not, I’m not sure if daisy would do that when bad.
I have no information, I am just going on my gut reads about everyone. Strictly my opinions.

I will take your suggestion under advisement but given I have no reason at all to trust you I will take it with a grain of salt and also note that you call it wrong like you know my alignment.
No, I call it that as someone who has tentatively thought you were town up until now because I liked what I saw from you.

When the fuck did I say I couldn't contribute much??

I never ever said I wouldn't be contributing much. You are building a completely false narrative here. I've been doing ISO's and playing the game, so where are you getting this idea that I came into a team chat and said I wouldn't be contributing?

I am not being bussed by mafia teammates because I am not mafia.

Yeah but I haven’t really read your recent posts yet.

I could vote for daisy. I'll give her a chance to get her foot in the door but I don't like that she's been hanging back so far.

INH and sig both look good imo/I agree with them on a lot so far

Lap.... idk she's an enigma. As are Luna and Choutas. Post more friendos

You were shading me before I was even actually playing the game. What a shock that you voted me with my first actual post I made. Not to mention how weak your vote was.
