That sounds kind of shitty, so let me emphasize: the winners played a good game. I think civs and scum were all playing a different game, though.

I also only had BTSC once, with Mac, so my perception is probably skewed from what really happened, but ah well. Fire Walk With Me was the opposite of that for me, and sometimes that’s just how it goes.

I had no idea what I was doing at any point after the old lady in the witch stuff.

I don’t care about the balance conversation, but it was frustrating to see this become “The civs played a bad game and don’t deserve to get helped” every time I popped in.

1) There is no “deserve” about it — you win or lose per the rules.

2) In a game where 11 of the first 12 deaths are civilian, but there are multiple scumteams, it doesn’t seem like anybody was playing Mafia very well at all (not conventionally, anyway). I’m not trying to take away from the winners, but I don’t know if hunting was a priority until I had been killed.

For the record, Mac rezzing a mafioso and killing a civ is anti-town behavior, just in case people are confused.

I had a feeling I was trusting Mac too easily but couldn’t find a way to refute it. In retrospect, he trusted me too easily and I should’ve seen that.

My nights/BTSC life are way less revealing than all of yours, apparently. I’ll believe anything you tell me.

Civs are doing very, very poorly at killing non-civs so far. We’re getting played.

I understand the info-rationale for voting sig; however, Sloonei has an info-rationale on DDL I am more inclined to trust. Jack’s eagerness to get people into BTSC is a carbon copy of him doing that as bad in Hogwarts, actually, which I just realized and is now heebing my jeebie.

I think you're having fun with a bad situation re your accidental outing. The cataclysm made the game a bit more difficult. But who signs up for an LC/BR game expecting it to be an easy game? The more challenging the better.

Perhaps some of us got blown off course and it may take us longer to get where we are going and may have to do a re calibration on our route

The thing that puts me at sea is that every day except day one, we have had supposedly concrete alleged information based suspicions, and other than this sig suspish, which seems least concrete to me, we drop them after a day, and have lynched no one but civs, and think this is A OK.

I honestly don't understand why the town is behaving this way unless there is some overt manipulation going on here, and people are trusting the wrong people.

We are all really bad at Mafia.

Timmer's just as likely to have taken the shot as Sig. Sig's more likely got a nasty night power that was used on me. Timmer claims to have seen my "claim" and Sig blatantly had not but was around at the time I was targeted.
