It's about jumping on an action that could easily be innocuous Civ Day 1 "I didn't pay enough attention". It's real easy to put a negative spin on it, so it's the kind of thing that's common for baddies to jump on.

I won't have much time today to post, but you guys really shouldn't lynch me. I'm civilain. I have Divination, Arresto Momentum and Hippogriff. I've used Divination as previously claimed. Night 3 I used Hippogriff to protect myself, and I have yet to use Arresto Momentum. I don't know if this gives anyone any helpful info, but I'm laying it all out in hopes that it changes things. I'm town, and this lynch train on me is stupid.

I may switch back to voting Colin then. I'm still hesitant about the sprityo lynch just because sprityo's reaction to it looks very town. BUT we may be better off to go ahead and remove the sprityo option today, since he is so heavily suspected, so we can move on with other suspicions. It would be nice to hear from everyone voting sprityo what it would mean for the other players if sprityo flips town. His death, even if he is civ, can stil help us win the game.

I just asked you why you are willing to vote Colin after you copped him and got town. I'm not twisting your words, just trying to understand your though process a bit better. I didn't claim until I did because I was getting checks and didn't want to get lynched. If you'll notice, I used my town-firms to steer the conversation in the thread the best I could without revealing anything. The reason I didn't cop you was because your tone sounded very town, and there were other players I suspected more than you.

I'd like to just say here that Mac is a near-guaranteed civ imho. He did something earlier in the game that only a civ would do, no two ways about it. I'm not going to say what, though. But... anyone who trusts me should also trust Mac, at this point.

You're right. Something can look bad and either be a scum doing their thing, trying to clear a teammate, or save them from lynch, or a townie not knowing alignments and making stupid defenses.

I'm going to call out anything I see for us to discuss. You may not be scum, but I don't know that, and would rather talk about the reasons you might be bad in order to condemn or clear you.

Why would Mac, if he were bad, say this, if it is a lie and Colin is town, and lynching Colin means revealing that Mac lied and then Mac will get killed and so will Jack.

You're town and Colin is scum (which seems to be your standing, correct?)
You're town and Colin is town (in which case I'm at a loss of who to vote).

I've considered timmer might be bad from process of elim. But looking at his posts he looks town, and I'm moving my vote off him. Perhaps to Colin. Nutella brought up some of his interactions with/about Long Con, and he really doesn't look that great.
Colin definitely looks the worst from his interaction with the confirmed scums, Jack avoiding to vote him/LC and him voting me together with Jack and didn't move it (previously he asked to keep Sloonei's wagon after your claim and when it's between Jack and me, he chose to keep his vote on me - you're guilty of this too ). But then, I green checked him. Don't think scum would Imperio'd me twice or me hitting a dodo'ed target twice in a row. If scum have a "secret" to turn me into insane cop, they wouldn't obliviate me. N2 might have another way to fool invest (if Polyjuice is in the game - it should fall under potion ability, need 1 night to make) but Colin was not that high on sus list. Higher possibility of it being correct check.
