Return to “Zootopia Mafia [Game Over]”

That was my problem. You and Jinrou were tied at 2-2, and you hadn't cast a vote for anyone, let alone for the one that looks most likely to flip today in lieu of you and possibly spare your bacon in the process.Kylemii wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:45 pmAm I missing something? I never accused jinrou. I never checked jinrou, and even if I did, my role doesn't get results. I don't think I've even talked about jinrou.Logic wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:38 pmAnd it seems long con has logged out.
Does anyone want to take a stance on why they think Jinrou and Kyle aren't voting for each other? (Especially the former, after Jinrou defended himself for not being used to the system, yet voted yesterday and still failed to vote before disappearing for the day.)
Current theory: they are scum buddies and looking for a convenient CFD, but I am open to other explanations.
And it seems long con has logged out.
"Someone's" cop checks not being bunk might be a mitigating factor for 5 mafia.Logic wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 3:51 pmJinrou seems to be saying that the game started with 5 mafia (because we got one when Soneji was lynched)Long Con wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 3:47 pmFour mafia sounds like a bit much... for a regular game. This game, though, I don't know. Jinrou and his hypothetical pair of teammates would probably ask the host in private. Looks kind of towny to me.
Which I think is probably overkill even in a bastard game, unless our cop checks are not just bunk.

More concern: you're not voting Jinrou (after you claimed you were) nor are you voting for Epignosis.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 12:05 pm Lol, what if it's both Epi and Jinrou doing some cross bussing here?
A better question is "why does Epi look more scummy than either of Jinrou or Kyle?"
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:45 amI guess. But it's kind of stacking the deck if all the cops are actually town also, isn't it?colonialbob wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:44 am I have a hard time believing Jack would a) give out a bunch of useless cop roles while also b) telling mafia there are a bunch of useless cop roles. Stacking the deck innit
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:46 am How about we lynch Epi just for fun?
How sure is everyone that he is town?
These three in particular. They don't look to be hunting, just throwing s*** at the wall to see what sticks. Maybe that's just your style, and I'm pinging off of culture clash. But it pings me. Especially since your alternative to Jinrou is Epi, and not anyone else that looks even remotely scummier than Epi.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:47 am Or just follow consensus on Jinrou
Voting there for now.
Dizzy, your actions today are beginning to cause me to cast some doubt on your townieness.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:47 am Or just follow consensus on Jinrou

"Both of them" meaning Kyle and Jinrou. That last statement is unclear.Logic wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 9:38 am So, I'm not completely sold on Kyle being a civilian.
I'm currently leaning that way, depending on how Jinrou flips (which I think will be mafia) and that may push Kyle into higher town confidence. Not sure who Jinrou's partners are at that point. I know it's not me, and colonialbob seems unlikely, leaving Owner, LongCon, Dizzy, Epi, and Kyle.
But if Jinrou flips green, I'm thinking the Epi and Kyle have some partner equity.
One thing that concerns me about both of them is the lack of self preservation votes from both of them onto each other.
You might want to read more before commenting. You've been copped town by both Indiglo (now confirmed dead town) and Colonialbob. Kyle never claimed to have copped you.Jinrou wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 7:29 amhe didnt cop me or is lyingcolonialbob wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 7:10 amOk, this is more convincing to me.Kylemii wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 3:13 amthat's actually wrong. saying zootopia over and over and generally being a memelord was an active choice i made to make sure I survived long enough to cop someone. i went a different direction once I realized that at the very least my role likely wasn't a perfect cop, but also that there was probably at least one other cop in the game due to the presence of a miller before I got tired/busycolonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 11:12 pmKyle. Everybody else has legitimate posting history that indicates they actually believed they were the/a cop.
The exception is if Jack told mafia about the multiple cops thing, I guess. Potentially the case but seems a little like stacking the deck? Idk.
[VOTE: jinrou] aubergine
Kylemii wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 3:01 pmI can't. I'm 99% sure a bastard cop. Instead of results I've been getting responses like "you totally meant to do that but instead you got distracted with a phone app" or "you were definitely gonna do that but you got distracted by donuts" last night I didn't get a message like that but was just told "no results" implying something else happened.colonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 2:56 pmI know that feeling.
Can you point to anywhere you did something cop-like?
(Hopefully you understand why I'm not taking further cop claims at face value)
@epigensis these first two make me think Kylemii is making it up. The third looks like a reasonable explanation. How did you get to "Kylemii is a civ" based on the first 2 alone? Because that draws me to the opposite conclusion.Kylemii wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 3:19 amthe message I received said that my failure wasn't my fault this time, which implies to me that either I was blocked or that the player I targeted is untargetable somehow.colonialbob wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 12:32 amThose are both believable things that Clawhauser (a character from the movie) would do. I'm not sure whether it bothers me that the third was "no results" - either he ran out of stuff to make up, the hosts ran out of creative ways to say stuff, or something different actually happened.
I'm actually starting to think we might be on the same page here.colonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 10:33 amI think these are good opinions*
*except I'm starting to have a sneaking suspicion of what the bastard part of this game is
Also note I forgot to include Owner in this list originally. Added in here.
I disagree with you about myself and Kyle, but think Kyle is less towny than Indi, Dys and Epi.
Epignosis wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 10:24 pm My problem with people like Logic and Jinrou is that I have no standard by which to judge them.
Jinrou marching in here acting like "Golly, Mafia is just about finding the guys doing anti-town things is where it's at!" has me scratching me head. Jinrou, if it's that easy, do you ever lose as a civilian?
I did provide links to 5 games of mine, FYI.
I could provide links to my most recent games of each alignment, if you'd like.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 9:00 pmHow do Logic and Jinrou usually play?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 8:00 pmAsked for people to ISO then didn't do anything with it.
