I'd love for the aforeMentioned people to share any just-in-case legacy reads. I'd equally love if anyone and everyone took the time to properly iso the slots in the PoE, or Dizzy/Marmot/TSP, etc and challenge themselves to re-evaluate any and every assumption. (I know some have done so, but I still get the feeling some people are operating on stale reads.)

I have not done any deep dives on anybody yet, so I do not consider any of my reads to be informed.

That said, I can see some synergy between P&G and Creature today purely in terms of how they have treated me.

With a limited POE, I need to be a suspect for the mafia team. Creature pushed me fairly significantly early on this phase. Mac, on the other hand, defended me. Mac defending me when I’m not uber town is a weird look. No one is historically more skeptical of me in games than Mac. I could see it as a coordinated approach where they each target different suspects today to appear not to be coordinated.

Do you think they have to be teamed?

Like I know the answer is 'no' but, you know...expand, if you feel able to?

Annoyingly, this tracks with what I expect.

It's the same as I feel about Sloonei to some degree, and hopefully I can, sooner or later, detect the same feeling within him.

There are 9000+ posts in this game. It would be easier and more helpful if we all just summarise our opinions when asked, in order to avoid spending time skimming through isos.

I think JPIC is my top non-conf town. I just detect a streak of v!JPIC even if it's more muted than I want.

This game is hard. I like to be right about things and I sometimes can be and then I feel good about myself, but now Creature's got me worried about the soup and I feel pressure to get something right *now*. And I can't confidently decide who should be inner PoE and who I think are actually town.

GTH Wilgy/Pao are the likeliest w/w there? Like Pao's sudden/confident push on Wilgy that is just as suddenly dropped in the final minutes could be bussing when they see the momentum onto Wilgy (I can't quite figure out the wagon sizes at the time), and Wilgy has had a super stale SR on Pao for the entire game that has never changed.

Wilgy/Sabie/Paopan is a trio I can't make sense of.

Wilgy has incredibly stale/unchanging scumreads on Paopan and Sabie (though that began to shift at the end of D2).

Sabie gave one hedgey shrug at Wilgy early in D1 then came in at EoD with a 'gah, I don't know what to do' and voted Wilgy instead of any other counterwagon.

Paopan votes and pushes on Sabie early, then at EoD suddenly wants Wilgy out right up until they want Seanzie out instead.

They have a weird trio thing going on that could easily be bussing but I just don't think all *three* are scum here?

I'm overthinking things again.

But I'm also struggling to settle on who the wolves are likely to be.

Can someone give me:

(a) A relatively recent Sloonei scum game

(b) A relatively recent Wilgy scum game

?

I can't tell if I'm just really bad at reading isos/am overdoubting myself or if wolves have just done a bang up job this game of controlling spew.

I guess I should stop saying 'Mac' now that sprityo has made more of an appearance.

Only thing that comes to mind is that he's cased two villagers so far (assuming LP is a villager), and he's tried to paint me as scum albeit on a smaller scale. Not sure what his reads were like wrt dizzy, marmot and tsp

Reads on known scum are pretty much non-existent. But then again he was slanking for a lot of time so that's not damning in and of itself imo.

The two things that made me go 'hmm' were (a) he very quickly had a V read on me and stuck with it through a time when no one else had that, and (b) if Wilgy and/or Mac are scum he gave them fairly easy V reads too.

But he's also towncased a lot of town / likely town along the way. And his words all make sense when doing so. And of course they do because he's Sloonei, but still.

Maybe I need to find a recent scum game to read.

Someone tell me Sloonei's agenda this game as scum, or where he has been clearly helping wolves, or something.

I read Sloonei's iso and I see town and I don't know what to do about that because I think I need Sloonei as one of my final four.

People are largely resorting to single-post reads or generic 'I think they're town/scum' without much expansion. I don't mean we need just the conventional iso & analyse, but it might help for people to actually go back into isos and check their assumptions again to challenge or confirm them a bit before repeating the same reads ad nauseum.

Okay true. But at least as of right now we've got a good portion of the playerlist cleared. And there's always a chance the wolves mess up the soup, if even one person has fudged their role claim enough.

I didn't realise the soup chef wouldn't be outed if they only guessed X number and got them all right. In my initial post I was just speaking generally that they might mess it up for the roles they do think they know.

He also clearly tried to pocket falcon and sig at different points. He *might* have treated JPIC and Sabie similarly imo, but less prolonged as the aforementioned two. Not sure if that means they're also town he's aiming to pocket or scum mates he's lumping in.

As expected I don't have many hard conclusions from TSP spew. His tone/style make it just as likely he'd do X as Y when scum, and he comments more than engages/pushes, so I find it challenging to commit to a sense of how he's treating other slots.

I might go back in later for another look.

Should be noted that in comparison there are quite a few slots TSP barely mentions and largely ignores, and others he talks about/around a lot. There's not much he really pushes though. He waves at Dizzy a bit but is mainly adding his voice to collective suspicion rather than pushing it forward (or defending it).

It's really annoying ctrl-Fing both 'Mac' and 'Phil' btw.

As I read TSP's iso I get further confbiased into a w!Mac world. There's not meat to anything they say to each other. They talk to and about each other but they don't talk *to* or *about* each other.

Yeah I more or less agree, and when I iso'd LP during the Night I came away surprised at how towny I found them. There were definitely bits I didn't like (like EoD1) but overall felt I leaned town on them.

But that said, it's the weakest of the mech things imo. Like it's good but it's not *clearing*.

Just not eliminating an LP possibility yet.

Yeah 'one-liney' is just TSP regardless of alignment. I think he mimicked his town persona here relatively well. But I know from experience that when you have a somewhat distinct persona, then the mimicry can be sensed by people familiar with you, even when they can't put their finger on why they sense a difference.

I think he only claimed the BPV. Would rather not talk much about his claim because of soup but I think that somewhat clears him.

Yeah, just wanted to check, not start a convo.

Of all the mech, it's probably the weakest in terms of 'clearing' imo. Somewhere in the dya/ilario range (for their vig choices).

Wilgy would probably be the best Vig shot right now, if anyone is holding on to one.
