I haven't caught up, so don't take my latest legacy as being indicative of what views I'd have if I was mafia. I wonder why Alexa held the dayvig even after seeing I was back - why not shoot me 30 minutes before EOD, so if I am town I can read a bit and give thoughts, and you still have time to vote NAA if I flip town?

I am going to flip town JOAT. I have no Vengeful or Bomb or anything. I do have an excellent night ability which I am sad to see leave the town. (I won't disclose it, on the offchance there's a day doctor or something, but you'll see if I flip.)

Nah I don't have hard feelings. Alexa played it mech optimal. So did NAA. That's just how this game works.

I think it's a fairly textbook town post. Paopan addresses concerns about them wrt the Alexa thing, clearly explains their position and thought process in making that post, and moves on.

They (in a roundabout way) give their list of wolf suspects, and I note with approval that two of my top suspects are shared with them.

They create a list of people they think should be policied, but end up following their personal scumreads instead, which I think is townie. Finally, they vote sabie, and they could very easily have framed that as a policy vote in the context of their post, and probably taken little to no blame if she flips town, but Paopan chooses to take responsibility for it and lists her as a genuine scumread instead.

I like the way Paopan's gome about doing things. I wish there were more reasons, but if I recall correctly they aren't big on that as town anyway.

Also there has never been a single game where I’ve been town and tr’ing Alexa and the first person to wolfread us both is scum. It’s always a townie who does that, who is overeager in trying to catch us. Now that this read is out of the bag I will never give anyone else towncred for it in the future.

I think you would only try to extract spew from that reads list if you were extremely confident or extremely foolhardy.

If Ender is wolf, at that point he is well aware that he is in imminent danger, and he clearly does not intend to post his way out of it through effort. So he is almost certainly going to ensure the readslist is protected against spew analysis. It is also, at heart, a list of names coupled with alignments without much explanation. It's not particularly easy to get useful information from that.

If Ender is scum he is clearly lolcatting scum who isn't taking the game too seriously and is just goofing around and having fun trolling us. So I think he is more than capable of producing a "wild" reads list either way.

In my experience in massive games with scum teams that have a large absolute size but a small relative size, the scum team tends to slank. The game is big; it's hard to keep up with the game, and hard to keep up the pretense of being town over so many pages. A lot of their power is reliant on their role use, not their thread domination. They most likely have a couple of hardworking teammates who will do the thread control job for them. (Kind of like how group projects always have a couple of people do all the work while everyone else sits on their ass.) The whole "bastard role madness" thing promotes a more casual, "I don't care if I win, I'm just here to goof around and have fun" vibe.

I am saying that when you are town, you are solvey. You are not solvey.

I understand you can fake being solvey as wolf. But the simplest explanation to you not being solvey is still that you are wolf.

Wouldn't your whole plan be ruined if she was a PR that could prove herself? Like, she vig shots a mafia, or red checks someone, claims the action, and then she's cleared? Sure, you get to soup her later, but you'll have kept her alive for a needlessly long amount of time and lost a great teammate.
