I'll move to Creature, but not Sean this RDAlison wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 4:27 pm I am currently between classes and waiting for my next class to begin; it will begin shortly. If there isn't much going on I'll alt tab to check in, but if it requires my attention then I have a policy of putting real life before mafia. @falcon45ca @DrWilgy if you two have questions for me, or want to talk to me, now's the time. I am requesting that one and ideally both of you put your vote on Seanzie. Thanks.

Alison is never an easy push in my experienceNotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 10:13 amIf you were an easy kill you would have died yesterday. Fext was literally inno child.Alison wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 3:24 amI was a top wagon yesterday and I'm a top wagon today. I am objectively an easy push for mafia. You don't need LC around to do that, and the same goes for your assertion that you don't push me when you're mafia because I'm a hard person to exe or whatever.NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 2:10 pmYou're right, I would kill Lime Coke if I were mafia in this situation. I think it's in everyone's best interest to kill Lime Coke at night in this situation because there's a very high probability that he enters the day being confirmed town. Also, killing Lime Coke closes the door to some discussions over what happened yesterday.
Though, playing devil's advocate to my own argument, if my goal is to get Alison killed, Lime Coke could reasonably be turned in that direction after the Fext flip + it's unclear what I would assume about Alison's read on Lime Coke, is it solid, or is it fabricated?
ALSO, I don't push Alison if I'm mafia.Or at the very least, I don't consider pushing Alison to be a good idea for mafia... Every play is correct some % of the time.

Re: [D2] Lost in Space Mafia
I'm not used to seeing this amount of solve in NAAs scum game. I don't like relying on meta, outside the amount of effort he's putting in, there's also an earnestness to his posts. He's a deepwolf suspect, but I'm not gonna go down that rabbit hole at this pointAlison wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 2:52 amI think NAA/Seanzie might have more equity than Creature at this point. He didn't give thoughts. Look at those posts. Look at how shallow they are. It is very very performative. He created a lot of posts with no real content.Spoiler: show
I can see what you're saying tho w/ re: to Mac's read as feeling like a wolf push if you are town.

Mac made associations & reads based off your posts. That does take some effort, but what I said was that it doesn't feel forced. His effort feels genuine to me in his solve.

Alison/Creature
Mac/Creature
It's unlikely though because 1) both are implicitly trying to get creature killed... An argument can be made that Alison is pushing me, but really, does anyone feel the pressure of a town!Alison push coming my way?
Alison & Mac have no world view other than someone in the game must be mafia, and oh by the way "our town reads are probably more like null reads that we'll have to rescind"
If you need evidence of where Mac posts that he's only town reading people because other people are town reading them, you can go find it yourself.
If you need evidence to see how Alison doesn't care who dies, you can go find that yourself. She's just like randomly bundling people together to make blanket statements like "These players don't care about mafia" ... "These players are always right" ... "These players are the scummiest in the game, because the plot demands that they must be"
Remember when I said on D1 that Alison's reads didn't make sense?
She had 2 hard scum reads
3 Null reads
1 wavering town read
1 hard town read
Do you see how the top 3 rows of that are incompatible? It's not any better today.
Creature, Alison, Mac
I'm fine w/ any of these 3
Based on what you're griping about (which is demonstrably NAI at best) you should be voting for me anyway.
And while sure, sometimes town has that attitude, I find it more often comes from wolves trying to foster a a negative town state.
I hadn't seen Creature make any town is doomed posts or whatever but Creature does that in literally ever game, it's NAI for him.
Alison didn't do it at all yet you're voting her? Why?
What makes you so sure on NAA, Seanzie and Wilgy? Why am I in your POE and not them?
He's the only 1 of those 3 I'm TR.
What's your game solve Mac? How are you reading things rn?

But yeah, I told you yesterday didn't I? A Fext kill does nothing towards advancing people's understanding of the game. This is actually probably the case more often than not, and people who swear to the "information kill" are probably not valuing "informative" correctly. As in, informing my opinion of the game isn't a recipe for success in mafia, especially at the cost of a miss... Scum can either just kill you, or twist the logic in another way that makes sense that you'll buy into as a player who looks for that type of reasoning.
Now, some people killed Fext because he was "scummy"... Which, yikes.
All that attitude does is serve to make it difficult for town to find each other

Let's say Fext flips town, there will be a split between "It was obvious" and "He should have just been towny"... Which makes the situation a lot less obvious when he does flip and some people are accused of going for LHF, while some are accused of TMI.

There's a difference between a well respected (for their reads) player being wrong, and being confidently tunnel wrong.
NAA's progression on Alison felt, strange. I can see where the read shifted, nor do I see where a rascal NAA would feel the need to make that shift. Rascal NAA would be fuckin around and would just continue to sheep Alison assumin they aren't aligned.
Now in regards to NAA's read, my conflict is that the only nulls of Alison's are NAA/Creature/Mac. At the time, I'd reckon them were all fair reads.
Can you show me what you saw?

Do you all think Fext scumslipped? If not, do you still think he should be the yeet? Why/why not?
If he flips scum, possible partners?
I reckon that I could also vote for Creature here, but that'd generate us little to no vantage if I'm wrong.
My day 1 lock is Fext/Creature.
Other possibilities are as follows:
I could see you and Fext.
I could see LC and Fext.
I could see NAA and Fext.
It's impossible for us to not get a good about of info from their flip.
However I would say that forcing like half the town to re-evaluate and at least one or two scum to fake re-evaluation would at least be good
Don't let people stay set in their ways if I go over
OK.
OK, yeah I can see that point. I spose then we can always just [VOTE: Alison] aubergine and see what happens

NAA must have a real low opinion of Fexts game to think he's added so little we can learn from in over 120 posts and diverse player interactions.
Why does Fexts flip give us "little info"?

Do you feel that strongly that Fekt is Town?
I do belive we should look at 1 of Fext/LC first, Alison is someone I'd look into next RD after one of their flips.
it did ping me a bit when Alison said me/her/mac are all on Fext and have good D1 reads... I'm not sure what game she would have gotten that impression from me on, so it felt a bit weird/pockety/lumping herself in, but meh, this is small fries compared to Fext.
If Fext does flip town though, I think Mac deserves more scrutiny though. NAA has made good points that Mac has acted a bit weird around the Fext push, and even things like Mac townreading Alison earlier seemed kinda off.
Again though, this is all thoughts for post-Fext flip. If I'm right on him, we're in great shape, and if not, I need to know that asap.
Sean, NAA my town posse

Re: [D1] Lost in Space Mafia
This is how I see Mac's genersl wolf play as well, and your point on Mac reversing scum reads on partners he's tunneled is also something I've noticed in his scum game.Alison wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 5:20 amMac tries hard in wolf games if he feels that a) he has something to prove or b) he enjoys the game and wants to take it seriously. Unrelated to fatigue from previous wolf rands or whatever. I find that you tend to be high activity/WIM/tryhard levels in general, and low on those things when you are burned out, struggling with IRL stuff, or think the game is bad (toxic thread atmosphere, extremely low quality of play, etc.)

Just so I'm clear...your theory is that Mac, having successfully wolfed recently w/ strong effort showings, is gonna fuck around this game cuz of the roster size?Lime Coke wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:23 pmEven though he just recently had 2 good scum games in a row, I would think he'd still just fuck around and open wolf if it's a smaller game like this and he wouldn't want to try hard and just exist, especially after those 2 specific scum games.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 8:14 pmWhat's your opinion of Mac's scum game?Lime Coke wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 7:28 pmHe popped in, stated the 2 top wagons and the 2 top players that had attention on them (Myself and Fext) were mafia, then left without doing anything else.

I feel like I would need to read those games but they're both fucky in terms of one game being a hydra game and the other being a mash. I do better learning if it's an average sized game like a 15er or whatever.
