And yet you basically have agreed with it, which makes it marginally less arrogant and much less likely to be untrue. You have consistently responded "wolfTim could fake that," "wolfTim is capable of that," "that is something wolfTim could do," every single time someone said "could be town." I just agreed with you.trans rights wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 4:04 pmmy read was also based around hollow, not just you. regardless, if i'm not going to use meta to read someone, i might as well use non-meta wolfhunting techniques, which is what i did. what you're basically suggesting is that you're unreadable, which is... arrogant and probably untrue to say the very least.TwoAndThrough wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 4:01 pmI know I just granted you a pass to LYLO, but geeezzzz this is the entire point. tim is a dynamic player. you can tell if you've read a decent amount of games from him. i think there's also the possibility of the environment changing how he plays.
my point is that pinning down tim with meta like this is unreliable. i think tim is too good of a player to be pigeonholed by meta in my eyes. a change in playstyle isn't necessarily something he needs to fake. he can play any way he wants for any reason.
Also, he clearly isn't changing his playstyle here though because his somewhat anti-town playstyle is happening before our eyes.
I have literally done nothing that is genuinely alignment indicative for me, so how did you get so confident that you are lock stuck in this wolf read?

Totally pocketed. Even though I think you might be a wolf you can have a pass all the way to LYLO.trans rights wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 3:49 pm that doesn't really address my post though tspic
tim is a dynamic player. you can tell if you've read a decent amount of games from him. i think there's also the possibility of the environment changing how he plays.
my point is that pinning down tim with meta like this is unreliable. i think tim is too good of a player to be pigeonholed by meta in my eyes. a change in playstyle isn't necessarily something he needs to fake. he can play any way he wants for any reason.
That said, do you notice that as soon as TSPIC had something positive to say about my slot they immediately went from under the radar to being shoved into the chainsaw wood chipper?

I answered who the scum on the wagon was. I didn't give you Alison style death tunnel snap reads, but I gave first impressions at the time and then continued investigation until I had what I considered fairly solid results and posted those too.Akemi Hazelnut wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 3:08 pmTo be fair to Tim this is the kind of thing he'd write as town.Bottom Text wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 3:05 pm yes

Re: Modern Family Hydra Mafia [Day 1]
Bullshit. I posted an observation of a fact and you faked a snit about it. It wasn't "a wolfy post," it was a statement of fact. You wanted to spin it as shade, and I told you it wasn't shade. I and numerous other people told you there could be town reasons for pointing out that fact. The observable truth is that almost all reads that are more than "gosh feelies" in this game somehow revolve around that observation of a fact, so guess what, it worked and the town reasons that I made that post are proving out.trans rights wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 2:25 pmyou made a wolfy post and i called out why it was wolfy. keep deflecting though.TwoAndThrough wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 2:10 pmwe have a language barriertrans rights wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 2:04 pm there's a difference between what you wrote and "i think nutella's reads are bad but she's probably a villager. if i'm wrong, it's because of alison potentially strategizing in wolf chat"
the latter is significantly more useful and villagery than the former.
ya hate to see it
of course it's to be expected when you are speaking in wolf
meanwhile...you are going with "fluff posted during RVS" as the foundation of your case? seriously?
I respect the refusal to use meta, but seriously, ask around, I fluffpost in RVS.
Now HERE is a newsflash: I am not the only one.
As to the contention that I just kept on fluff posting...I was maybe the only one that DIDN'T. I pointed out an actual fact. Throwing that grenade into the murky water of feelie reads and bullshit is the only thing that has produced any meaningful discussions still. I have zero regrets about throwing that grenade.
fluffposting in rvs doesn't really matter. my problem is you continued to do so at a point where there was legitimately stuff to be investigated, and the one thing (the vote triangulation) your hydra did point out didn't go anywhere. it didn't have anything to do with the observation you made either. it was how you phrased the observation and did nothing with it. that is what sparked discussion, so trying to act as though what you did was actually progressing the game state is wrong, because the ones that did progress the game state were the ones that made the read based on how you made the read and not with the read itself.
Now, you can either maintain the chainsawing and keep making your associative reads that you can back right off of when I flip town and "surprise" you, or you can move on and try to do something less obviously wolfy. Choose.

Re: Modern Family Hydra Mafia [Day 1]
The question you dodged and continue to dodge is why you are ignoring the clear potential that I did what I did for exactly the reasons I said I did it...which are towny reasons. You have very clearly just locked me in as your mischop of the day. Most of your other reads are easy to get off of when I flip town, maintaining you a clear fresh start for day two. The only read I had seen to that point that didn't fit that was the read on Mana so I tried to get you to talk about that and you luffed that off.trans rights wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 2:20 pmokay i'm trying to look for "questions i didn't answer in two and through's iso" and i got to this point where he accused mist of not answering a questionTwoAndThrough wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 3:21 pmDo you have any interest in actually solving this slot, or are you just on "flip it and see"?trans rights wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 3:00 pmregardless, i think the conclusion also has problems insofar as you haven't actually asked yourself why if i was a wolf i would be pre-flipping. the most obvious answer would be tmi, right? but you clearly don't seem to think that's the case based on you thinking my posts are agenda-y. so i'm just confused on where you stand on this as a whole.Spoiler: show
Because I already gave a common wolf agenda for making pre-flip reads, and you apparently didn't read that post.
It seems like you have no interest in actually "defending" your slot, since you are just dismissing or not even reading questions/observations about what you are doing.
It also seems like you aren't really interested in evaluating me, just in making sure no one listens to me.
To repeat...wolves hate to make reads day one that will commit them. If someone becomes a consensus borderline POE and the wolf laid down a town read day one that is hard for them to get out of it makes it awkward to push for the mischop. If it comes down to really needing to expand a tightening POE it is even worse. So, good wolf makes a bunch of preflip reads instead. They look "helpful" and "solvey"...but when the root of their world flips one simple "oh I was wrong there" gives them a free range reset by erasing all those awkward day one reads.
Now, I'm kind of interested in the Mana read, because you are now making it very clear that is a read you are willing to commit to regardless of my alignment. If you could expand on how that is a wolfy vote a little more that would be...well...helpful.
i rechecked the iso and mist didn't really dodge any questions two and through was asking xem early on
as far as i know this entire post is patently untrue because neither of my game nor mist's game fits this criteria
Now who is "misrepresenting"?
