Howdy ladies and theys
I read the first two pages. Can someone give me the tl;dr of what happened and who should I iso?
Hello Sabi.
Day 1 came down to a tvt between Alison and Fingersplints. Alison's main suspects were Roxy and Kate ie. you. Fingersplints largely got pushed to a counterwagon of Alison by me and SPF. I thoughy FS was very wolfy and also slanky.
Neon seems to have been randomly killed due to the tower.
I see. What made people push Alison to be a wagon?
What are the other thoughts so far? Who do I need to iso?
A bunch of sketchy people were voting her for terrible reasons on D1 despite the fact that she was super villagery, then people wanted to flip her D2 due to tinfoils and “resolve the wagons” etc.
fwiw she hated your slot early on but then decided Kate had townslipped.
@sabie12 first welcome!
Second I’m not directly quoting you so tagging you.
Third I’m gonna disagree with this thought,
Allison was playing a sketchy game and the only people clearing her weren’t being read as civ. She also received a lot of votes day 2 meaning their was a consensus and their was a last minute CFD onto splints to save her (who flipped civ)
From a reading perspective I’d probably try to read the first like 3-5 pages and then the last 3-5 pages see what pops up and ISO based off that. Also whoever you’re most familiar with id ISO since you can make a meta read

I imagine some cards were used to end night early and then... also end the next day early? Is that all it was or am I lacking critical information
Yeah that's it. Both were one time use cards though

Roxy is my top wolfread and they should prob always go for Alison and also for the moon thing not going off on them (although it's possible wolves were expecting the Alison wagon to take lead instead).
Still would rather try some new wagons because I feel like wolves are going unpressured.
"I want Roxy to go, she's my top wolfread....also, can we get some new wagons?"

Allison wasn’t sketchy in the least. She was taking aggressive stances but also re-evaluating and evolving her reads. The people voting for her were mostly terrible like you.

I'm not sure what to make of that
It's pressure making. You wagon someone and force them to respond/react to it so you can get a read on them and also attract others' attention.

Ok so LHF is like, taking annoying pop shots that people should know is NAI but are sussing you for anyways? Nifty
No LHF is used to describe players in the game who appear to be easy to push without much resistance.

Oh, like someone who can't defend themselves because they aren't around to? That makes sense too, thank you

What are you hoping to get out of Jack w/ your vote pressure?
Its pretty clear that we absolutely lost control over the game.
Sig's recasting of the Alison situation encapsulates that perfectly.
It all just looks mindless. Is Lucy/Mac/SPF not enough for you guys?
But. I dont actually know anyone who has the mileage besides tutuu to persuade how many ever town that actually boring established towncores of stronger players are good.

Yawn yeah. LHF = slanking/lowposting/not being active enough.
If someone has a history of being LHF in a lot of games, it's NAI. If someone is usually active as town then them being LHF would be concerning.

Whoa, whoa, whoa there Chicken Little. Settle down.
We didn't have a N1 town death, so that's a plus. These kind of posts are inherently scummy, as they only serve to lower morale.
Alison: 6
falcon45ca
fingersplints
Jackofhearts2005
Neon
Roxy
sig
Baudib1: 2
DrWilgy
Seanzie
Dennis : 1
Kate
Missed the Vote: 1
Porscha
I had to piece it back together as I neglected to save it in the middle of the chaos. I also edited it into the EoD 1 post so it can be found easily.
thanks!
im having a bit of trouble unpacking this votecount because my original impression is that the wolves were probably split fairly evenly between the alison/fingersplints wagons, since they were both town and it wouldn't be crucial to the wolfteam which one died first
but i townread the majority of the players on the splints wagon and i dont townread the majority of the players on the alison wagon, but a world where most or all of the wolfteam stacked on alison on d1 doesnt really make sense to me
does anyone remember what the wagons were like before alison/fingersplints became the consensus? who else was in contention?
i feel like basic wagonomics points to there being multiple wolves in the non-voters of splints/alisons
Baudib1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 9:44 pm
Ok so @Seanzie I guess we would like you to clarify. Do you have mechanical information that indicate Mac and Jack are wolves?
no bro, don't you know that if I did I couldn't say it but hey it isn't the case anyway, so sit down and just drown in the fact that "Mac and Jack ate a shortstack of flapjacks in wolf chat" is a fact that I deduced by being a sleuth, reading the thread, using my head. No cards jarred these facts that I spread.
I believe that Mac is town strongly enough to believe that Seanzie's soft is useless.
I don't necessarily believe Jack is town because of this however.
I actually don't know what to make of Baudib now that Alison has flipped town. Was that a townie trying to save another townie, or a wolf going all in to get Alison on their side and look better after the flip? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z

why do you think it's wolf indicative for roxy to have not had the moon go off on her? we don't even know the alignment of the person that used the moon. that doesn't make sense

I think baudib1 has been pretty pure regardless of Alison and like a lot of strong players testified the same. The wagon on them also felt horseshit.

Someone talk to me about Sig, if you want. I can't make you
Sig has produced no coherent content and has made primarily bad votes. In conclusion, he is objectively null but you should get rid of him after you clear the main suspects because once he starts wolfsiding he doesn't stop.
I know she’s dead and ooof was a civ. But, I’ll still respond.
1. This is quiet honestly a horrible take and why I’m still okay with her being voted and flipped. The idea we should vote for someone since “Once he starts wolfsiding he won’t stop” makes Zero sense what so ever, isn’t a very town centric way to play the game and let’s be real I might not be doing the most, but in terms of wolfsiding there’s a good 3-5 players being more “wolfsidingy” than me. (This is a dumb term to start with since unless a town member is intentionally throwing they’re not siding with a wolf. It just means they don’t agree with you.
2. I’ve had a lot of coherent thoughts, I’ve made multiple reads and laid out who I would and wouldn’t vote for. Just because I’m not building mega cases right now doesn’t mean I’m not giving reads.
3. I’ve literally voted for two players, the first was an obvious joke vote the second was for Allison where it remained with logically thoughts for said vote.

Well yeah isn't that the point? We don't know the alignment of the person who used the Moon, so it could've been a wolf who wanted to make sure m!Roxy lived another day.
Moreover, in the absence of Lucy actually stating their positions (You promised a readslist a while ago and it never came), I am going to assume the veto of a Jack vote is a soft until otherwise disproven by mechanics which aint nobody got time to read, or otherwise clarified.

it could have been, but is there any particular reason to believe that this is the case? why is it not possible that the moon was used by a villager who was tunneled on alison? or used by a wolf who wanted to cement the aliosn elimination before she could scumhunt further and leave a proper legacy?
to say: "the moon did not go off on roxy, so therefore roxy is mafia" is working backwards from how you are supposed to get reads

tbh there's exactly one player who I could see activating that card as town but I think it's most likely wolves got it. I think they may have held it off if they felt the Alison wagon was picking off though so maybe not really that incriminating.

Oh. Yeah that makes sense ignore me
Either way I think it's hopeless to speculate the alignment of the person who played the Moon so, yuh. Onto the next debacle

SPF:
The other wagons most of D1 were me and Creature and there was incredibly strong resistance to voting anyone else until Mac voted for Splints.
See, I actually liked Mac's reasoning on fingers slot, and was starting to TR him more and more...
And then he posted that he finds me scummy as I do not have a rational approach to the game...I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist.
And that's fuxkin ridiculous, nobody ever TRs me for being a rational player. Total BS, and there's more than 1 player currently alive who can attest to this fact

Creature why is Falcon town?
I think falcon has been mostly trolling around (like intentionally tying wagons to spit Seanzie) and feels really careless.
Also my town list is comprised of players who I feel would have a hard time to fool us if they were wolves (except tutuu maybe) and the fact I've seen them mostly getting townread than wolfread so far makes me feel pretty good about them.

I remember at some point near EOD1 you and Seanzie kept switching votes between the Alison and baudib1 wagon and I thought you were trolling Seanzie.
