What's a soup kill

Often in games where mass claiming is discouraged, a power/role will have the ability to kill a large amount of players assuming several conditions are correct.

I've seen some such as if they can guess X roles associated to X characters correctly, they all die, thus discouraging mass claims.

There has been some discussion as to whether this game would have VTs at all. nutella has hinted she has reason to believe otherwise so ok let's set that aside.
Kate also tried to make it seem like it was odd that I had "strong suspicions" on her... when the last game we played together I had even stronger suspicions on her at this time of the game and a death tunnel on another player as well.

So I just read the rules and the rules expressly provide for BSG-style mafia.

My posts about having no evidence of TMI was thinking of two mafia sets but that seems unlikely based on rules as drafted. Reads as one mafia with a search mechanic. Still, though, I’d be hesitant at considering anyones townread as coming from TMI… the mafia appear to have as much interest in establishing honest town and wolfreads as anyone else, which means imo we need to rate ‘false read’ perspectives as less likely to be correct than they would usually be.
