The reason I say that is just imagine a PC/Golden W/W scenario (regardless of how likely such a pairing is), you make a case on your scumbuddy but then you write the case in such a way where people don’t pay attention, so if your scimbuddy ever gets chopped later you can point to that post and say that you were onto them and gain towncred, while providing an empty case that nobody will pick up, thus letting you have your cake and eat it too because your scumbuddy isn’t actually going to be pushed
