I'm glad you're still alive, because I gotta ask you, who do you think is WW now? You are the other likely candidate for a NK after buying 3 new properties, so I imagine you are also worried about this. I've got a list pretty narrowed down already. DF was my first thought for a vote, and even though I'm 100% certain, he would not kill tonight so he is not an immediate threat.Turnip Head wrote:Yeah man tell me about itMetalmarsh89 wrote:@THboo wrote:18. Nice going with the roleblock. I see no reason not to trust you re: DFaraday, though I'm still interested in hearing what he has to say.
Welcome back Bass and MP! From my understanding of the rules, they aren't on a team anymore and have to hustle to stay alive.

I think TH has a protect, but he'd probably use it on himself before me.DFaraday wrote:Well, I don't know what to tell you, MM. Maybe someone was able to protect you last night from the real killer?
EBWOP: 100 is an awful lot of percent, MM.

I am not WW, I will tell you that.Turnip Head wrote:I honestly have no idea about Water Works right now. I thought I had a solid case on SVS. It's probably worth noting that even if your roleblock story checks out it doesn't exclude you from being WW, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now. Also worth noting that even if we lynch Water Works today, the even night kill likely won't go away.
I guess it died with her, since it couldn't save her from a lynch. I was pretty certain that the RRs didn't have BTSC. Actually, if she did, she probably would have given B&O the other properties to her partner before she was lynched.Turnip Head wrote:Linki: SVS also bought a protect. I wonder what happened to it.

So, where is it? In Monopoly board game, when you mortgage a property, other players can buy it, right?Turnip Head wrote:I had to mortgage some real estate to pay off my debts.
You can? I've never played that way. Are those house rules or general rules?Long Con wrote:So, where is it? I've purchased other properties that don't have houses or hotels on them.Long Con wrote:Metalmarsh, you did some detective work involving TH, the houses, and the 'Pinks' (I prefer to call them Magenta)... can you take a look at the current stats and let us know what you think? I would think that TH (and his team) would have had to sell Hotels to make it work, at least downgrading to one or two houses on each. I thought there were 6 hotels available before this night was over.
Shouldn't we be seeing some changes there? You have to sell off houses and hotels before mortgaging, so they should be showing up as available.
I like to think of them as turnip colored.Long Con wrote:and the 'Pinks' (I prefer to call them Magenta)
TH has been suggesting that Bass was his teammate. If that is true, then WW has his property, and since TH must downgrade evenly, he would be stuck at 4 houses with WW blocking him. Also the market has not changed since the beginning of Day 9, so TH could not have downgraded, even after the current cycle. Same deal with Illinois, as you said. The market hasn't changed, so he hasn't sold hotels.Long Con wrote:Ok, so here's the first page:
Houses x 4: Start at $150 each, do not have to used right away if won.
House x 10: $100
Houses and Hotels (bought based off the cost on the normal games card, use the wiki to find the cost):
*Can only be bought for immediate use*
Houses: 0
Hotels (Must have 4 houses before upgrading): 6

I'm not entirely surprised. He's stated that all his teammates are dead, and I think I've made a decent case proving that wrong. I haven't pressed to figure out who it could be.Long Con wrote:At the very least, this would possibly indicate that TH is lying about selling things.

That is what I've gotten out of the conversation Hanna.HannaK wrote:Welcome back bass & MP
So I am confused, TH gets to keep his hotel because he mortaged the other properties he had to the bank in oredr to save himself from bankruptcy?
I'm not insisting that you are, I'm just trying to get to the truth. I think the most likely explanation is that you're telling the truth, but I'm not seeing the evidence. That's why I'm asking for other opinions on the matter, including yours.Turnip Head wrote:You really don't like me this game, do you Con?
I'm not lying about anything, I don't know why you keep insisting that I am.
When you mortgage a property you get half of what it cost to buy that property. For example board walks cost $400. So if you mortgage that you get $200 from it.Long Con wrote:I'm not insisting that you are, I'm just trying to get to the truth. So you're saying you have enough extra properties to mortgage them (at half price?) to reach $1100, without selling houses or hotels? I'm not trying to bust your balls here, but give me some credit and work with me - if you're telling the truth, then there should be an easy explanation that I'm not seeing.
Even if you had a hand full of Boardwalks, you would need to Mortgage forty-four of them to reach $1100 at $25 apiece. Isn't that how it works?
What are you suggesting we do?Turnip Head wrote:In just a few cycles, you could be able to run a lynch entirely by yourself. Earlier than that if you have any partners in crime. And if you're on a team that inherits an NK at some point... we're done for.
It's something that everyone should be thinking about.
Literally neutral. I just have to stay alive and potentially can win with anyone, but have to trade with someone first to be able to win with them.Metalmarsh89 wrote:You and Bass have been rezzed. Your redemption couldn't have been drawn up any better.MovingPictures07 wrote:Hello!![]()

I think.
Oh that's right... I was confusing what you PAY when you land on it for the price of the property. The neatest solution would be to do exactly what they did to me yesterday. Make Long Con or MM have 4 more votes than the real lynch candidate (in today's case, DFaraday perhaps), so that they have to use the +5 votes to save themselves. That's hard to coordinate though. At least we got rid of the inactives, but there are still some players who can't be counted on to vote before deadline.fingersplints wrote:perhaps that should say what do you suggest we do? I no longer think you are a RR, and I still find it doubtful you are WW, so I'm willing to listen to other options but am running out of time to vote.
Isn't this possible to coordinate though?Turnip Head wrote:The neatest solution would be to do exactly what they did to me yesterday. Oh, I forgot about the Beatdown. That's true.Turnip Head wrote:Yes.
But once again I'll say that even if DFaraday is the last railroad, that kill is not going away. It's going to the team that purchased the Beatdown power. For all I know, LC's team or MM's team has that thing.
It's possible, and I would be up for trying. It's hard to coordinate because we can't guarantee everybody will vote. Lorab and Bea have probably missed half the votes this game, and DFaraday himself only shows up every once in a while. So the numbers would be tricky. But it's possible. And I think it's probably worth it.MovingPictures07 wrote:Isn't this possible to coordinate though?Turnip Head wrote:The neatest solution would be to do exactly what they did to me yesterday.
