Day 2

Moving on from Fire Island, the group, down one animal, but with full bellies at least, moved on to Tiger Mountain.
There, they climbed and they climbed. Oh, how they climbed. And when they got tired of climbing, they climbed some more. The main thing they noticed was that there were fewer tigers than advertised, but they did see quite a few camels roaming easily over the slopes.
"Look at that camel," said INH.
"Yes, peculiar," said S~V~S.
"I am tired of climbing this mountain," observed Black Rock.
But nobody cared about that, and they just kept climbing.
No one has died.
You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

are metalmarshes' self-votes an admission that they are an animal, or just an admission that they are trying to ruin the game for the rest of us? I would assume that only people interested in winning would want to play mafia (if they are sane unlike voopy), so one would only put themselves up for death if they could still win. Reasonable assumptions?

This game is starting to make me feel bad. I don't want to ruin llamas game nor do I want SVS to feel like she doesn't want to play either. On the other hand, I can't think of any better strategy and i can't escape that if it works we all win. So, i will probably reluctantly vote for SVS tomorrow. I'm sorry SVS.

It isn't really "playing", is it? I mean, I like to win, but I like to work for it, too. I am missing how this is "fun", you know? So by volunteering I am essentially quitting a game I sm not really enjoying, while (hopefully) helping those who want an easy, clean win achieve it. It isn't for me, but everyone is different.

I can understand that it makes sense. Since a lot of people have gotten on board with it, I have found it difficult to really figure out how to play normally at this point.

Re: Oblique Strategies - an Eno Mafia [DAY 2]
There is still room for some trickery, but as long as only animals die there is no reason for anything else to happen that I can think of. Whether Llama intentionally did it or not, strictly following game rules The Strategy seems to be the most ideal way to play this game.

Re: Oblique Strategies - an Eno Mafia [DAY 2]
What has already been said sabie. Voting plans rarely actually work, and this one feels a lot like "cheating the system"... in the event that it actually does work.
And "animals revealing their team" feels a lot like outing. Idkk I don't like it at all and I don't plan on following it. Is the only pro for this that INH assures us that everyone will win?
I play to have fun, and if I win yea that's cool too, but I'd rather enjoy doing it and be challenged. Following this voting plan and winning isn't a win for me, I'm sorry.

I agree with the above.
Also I would find it highly amusing if it turned out SVS was a non-animal.

ture, it would be a good way to make sure the animals have almost no chance of winning, but you also hurt your own team by doing it. If you are a gal then there is no reason to do it at all because you don't win if your teammates do, so she's most likely an animal or a fella.Vompatti wrote:I agree with the above.

Perhaps for the sake of solidarity one member of each of the other teams should team claim with an animal each day, so that when we reach the last day we know no one is lying.
