Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
I still think that in light of the recent flips, this:
Chihiro 3
Voters: hollowkatt, Dennis, falcon45ca
Looks very good for HK and Falcon. I don't know if either of these would just casually staple a vote next to their teammate on Chihiro like so early in.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
I wonder if it's also true that Rondo was the unpure element of the Jack wagon.
See below:
Jackofhearts2005 5
Voters: DaughterOfOmega, Chihiro, Scrappy Doo, Lucy, RondoDimBuckle
Scrappy and Lucy being on board though somewhat detracts from this being utilizable data as I don't know how their pressure would affect a scum being pro or against a wagon. I can't say I have the experience to weigh that.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
Final thoughts and order of vote weight rankings:
Sig by far looks the worst in terms of voting pattern.
Rondo shortly behind.
Then Falcon.
And HK looks the most clean.
The observable differences between Rondo, Falcon and HK are that Rondo and Falcon were on Kate during the time of Dennis flip.

Why specifically do you think I'm pocketing you now? I've made this argument for the past 2 cycles.

So unless you think said wagons were pure then you’re the mafia in it.
Then you also avoided major wagons 2 other days casting random votes. Furthermore, while you did have to vote Creature to get something you also tried to move the wagon off Kate and really I don’t think it matters she’s a lost wolf. I have to assume the mafia were aware and searching for them.
And you’ve also not explained why you thought it was a good idea to tell a player a poison potion was a cop check?
There’s no world where a mafia member would drink a cop check potion so all you did was set up a civ death and push us one phase closer to End game that alone is reason enough to suspect you’re mafia.

Also the longer rondo doesn’t post the more I just want to vote him off today vs Wilgy.
But, I’ll wait to see what hk/falcon thinks

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
I feel like Rondo wasted one day of IC status and is in the process of wasting another. Raskol and creature both of whom are confirmed town and thus had no reason to lie to us vouchsafed for Rondo. Raskol by a cryptic "Rondo is IC and no I won't elaborate" and creature via the "mac and rondo are the same alignment" that he never wavered on.
So the question is this: How could two conf via death townies be wrong on Rondo? Is there mech already revealed in the game that would cause this to happen? I can't imagine a world where unrevealed mech would have caused the both of them to get rondo 180 degrees wrong.

Those wagon votes the Lucy and Dennis one, Lucy, I've already expressed concern with knowing how Lucy being 3p changes how you quantify the scum weight. What do you think on that? Dennis had you me and HK on it? Or am I referencing the wrong wagon?
Re the potion: would've been pretty bad if Rondo (who I thought was mech confirmed at the moment) drank it. This is why I specifically worded it the way I did "someone we aren't sure of should gulp it". It gives us a flip, JDizz/DOOM were who I was hoping it would give data on and it did. If I just say "don't drink it it's poison" then I'd be having to sort DOOM as well OR JDizz had DOOM been the NK instead and I'm pretty sure that's game losing.
I saw it as a potential but inaccurate bullet, but a bullet I could somewhat manipulate.
If I was wolf, I say nothing, warn my teammates in chat and watch a townie just go for it.

I had data on 3 of them, the one creature drank I didn't share info on, but it was a 1 time use watcher power the following night. The one DOOM drank I disguised as a "public cop check" but it was actually just murder juice. The one Kate drank I knew was an emoji only insanifier.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:32 pmwhere did the idea that one of the potions was a cop check come from? because to my knowledge the potions were listed by colors and no hint or indication of their effects existed.sig wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:28 pmThere were 2 wagons were everyone else flipped civ (if we ignore Kate) that you were on. Wilgy claimed it would be a green check, waited until Doom drank it, and then dropped that it was a poison.
Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
The only way it could be wrong would be if Dennis had used his power on Rondo. But, that’s such a world of tin foil nonsense that yea it’s hard to believe isn’t it?hollowkatt wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:35 pmI feel like Rondo wasted one day of IC status and is in the process of wasting another. I guess we could say both LPP and Creature were locked town and more active than Rondo which is why they both died first, but the fact he isn’t doing anything and still alive is just sending alarm bells.
What are the chances we only have one mafia member left?

There’s no world where a mafia member would drink a cop check potion so all you did was set up a civ death and push us one phase closer to End game that alone is reason enough to suspect you’re mafia.
Why would you do this though?
Mafia would never drink a cop check so you basically guaranteed a civ would die

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
So creature and jdizz died last night. Creature I am assuming is the NK. Jdizz feels like a slank vig tbh. He had like 4 posts all of D4 whereas Rondo had a lot more. It's possible that creature was perceived as more of a threat than Rondo is so maybe reviewing where rondo stood yesterday and thinking about the opposite of that.sig wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:43 pmThe only way it could be wrong would be if Dennis had used his power on Rondo. But, that’s such a world of tin foil nonsense that yea it’s hard to believe isn’t it?hollowkatt wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:35 pmI feel like Rondo wasted one day of IC status and is in the process of wasting another.
I guess we could say both LPP and Creature were locked town and more active than Rondo which is why they both died first, but the fact he isn’t doing anything and still alive is just sending alarm bells.
What are the chances we only have one mafia member left?
Votes being locked indicates to me that today is lylo unless someone claims that as an ability. Backstage Rage location doesn't feel like it should lock votes and Scotty is saying that todays event is stage whispers which again not locked votes.
If that's true there's two left.
Kate = Velma lost wolf
Dennis = Shaggy regular wolf
I don't think you can have a scooby themed mafia game without scooby so that's three. Lucy counted for two players as 3p. Herself and scrappy.
I think we need to start solving as if there are two.

There was never a world where mafia would drink this.

Again, this is quite literally nonsensical. If I was wolf, why do I say ANYTHING at all?
Rondo was more than eager to take the last pot. If Rondo was my teammate I would've just warned them in BTSC.
Your push feels bad faith once again this game Sig.
Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
Explain to me a world where you as a civ tells another civ to drink poison.
Also you say this but rondo didn’t take the potion. In fact he asked for one without specifying a potion which would show you told him.
You say my push feels in bad faith again . Yet the two pushes I made this gale caused two mafia members to be voted out so that’s nonsense.

How the hell does Rondo going to actually at the host and ask for the remaining equate to I told him? What if the host was like these 2, and Rondo just went for it? Do you think Rondo went out of their way to create a host interaction as a form of blending, preemptively to me trying to aim the poison? Sig OR Kate are tolerable options as well. I do not know why but I think I would like to flip Sig in spite of the wolfweight pointing that Kate would be the better flip. Perhaps Sig's new gutsto when it comes to mafia has me wavering at a gut fear read.
HK is a tolerable option. I do think that if a wolf was found on Chihiro, HK has the greater of wolfweights.
It is VERY hard for me to see a world where this is wolf Falcon. Again, as I think I've expressed the past 3 games. Town Falcon is a very easy read as wolf Falcon is just miserable doing so. That is not happening this game.
Ooo I don’t like this post.
Are you trying to save some teammates Wilgy.
Re your push on Kate and Dennis, Kate being lost wolf makes this moot, however I do think you look good for the Dennis push. I've only skimmed your ISO and do intend on doing full ISOs de Dennis interactions when I'm home this evening.
Your push on Dennis being 2 layers but behind a lost wolf and then you committed to Dennis earlier than others makes me think it may be legitimate. However if this is the case, I need to figure out if I'm wrong on HK or Falcon.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day 5)
I feel like we need to come to some consensus, but it’s impossible to do with 2/5 players not really posting.
The more I talk to Wilgy the less I see him being mafia, but that leaves 2 people I town read and 1 person who’s likely mech cleared. So I’m not sure if I’m just being paranoid when we’ve got an easy vote or what,
3 worlds exists where Rondo isn’t good.
1. He’s the god father and checks green (I literally just thought of this like a second ago)
2. Creature didn’t understand the cop check.
3. Dennis used his power on Rondo N2
Out of these 3 possibilities
2 is like impossible
3. Is unlikely
1 would be the most realistic, but even then we’d be taking a big bet on that power existing.
That leaves Falcon and hk. Both seem civvie to me.
I guess it’s time to review Dennis again and see his interactions with all three
