Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
deadsheeping seanzie sounds about as good a reason as any other
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
Kinda prefer S~V~S though because idk what they have done with their breath.
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
she has 1 and hasnt done anything with it
also keeps promising to do things and then not doing anything
kind of sucks to lose to that if shes scum but also sucks to lose if town

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
I am also feeling a little too stressed for this game.
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
this game isn't worth getting that worked up over lol
if we lose it's w/e
if we lose it's w/e
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
like it would kinda suck but that happens sometimes and no one has been playing super hard. in the end it's just a mafia game and you can't always win. most of the people in this will forget about it in a week from now
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
Yeah I'm kinda in a losing streak so this game is just going to be another game I lose to.
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
I feel worse about losing Scooby Doo though because town went from two wolf lynches straight into a pretty losing LyLo.

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
No wolves sniping me last second?
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
im not a wolf creature
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Day 4]
I guess if you are a wolf you pretty much win here by sniping me last second so if Neon is lynched and flips wolf you're pretty much locktown?

End of Night 4
Llarimar ran through the narrow streets of T'Telir, the sound of his assailants' footsteps pounding behind him. He knew he had to think fast if he wanted to survive, yet his body would not preform as nimbly as he needed. He heard his pursuers grow nearer as he turned a sudden corner where ahead of him was just a stone wall. A dead end.
Llarimar turned to face his attackers, when a cloth drained of color, quickly flew towards the priest and wrapped around his neck.
The command the assailant used was simple but effective, 'grab and squeeze' and the cloth did just that. The cloth squeezed and squeezed until the priest was no more.
Poor Scoot.
Creature has been yeeted in the night.
Creature was Llarimar - A tall, portly man with spectacles and a calm demeanor, Llarimar serves as the high priest of Lightsong the Bold.
A Vanilla Civilian!
The Mafia: Falcon45ca, Lucy, and S~V~S have won!
The 3rd party: Srceenplay has won!
Good game everyone. More to come shortly.

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Night 4]
@lucy you won this game, I was just along for the ride.
Your kindness and patience with me while my family situation was playing out is greatly appreciated.
Also sorry for hard bussing you, @falcon45ca. The poll times coincided with leaving work and commuting, and I never knew if I’d be home EOD so I had to vote early.
Thanks Wilgy for a really intriguing set up, and GG everyone!

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Night 4]
Honestly this setup bored me to death.
Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Night 4]
Full list of flavor roles:
Creature - Llarimar - A tall, portly man with spectacles and a calm demeanor, Llarimar serves as the high priest of Lightsong the Bold.
DOOM - “Lightsong the Bold, the Returned God of Bravery” to the people of Hallandren.
Lightsong will begin the game with 4 breaths and the use of breaths for the second heightening will not decrease their total breaths. Lightsong is immune to poison. If Lightsong gives away their breath, their vote weight will become 0 until a breath is restored. Lastly Lightsong may not accrue more than 4 breaths at a time, excess breaths will be lost.
and Jewels - A blunt and irritable woman, Jewels maintains the lifeless Clod, restoring the corpse to working order whenever needed.
Gira - Hoid - A master storyteller, Hoid is summoned to the Hallandren Court of the Gods by Lightsong the Bold to recount historical tales.
Neon - Treledees - High Priest to the God King, he wears ornate clothing and acts with authority. Clever, observant and covert, Treledees is a devoted man and takes his role seriously.
Scotty - Lemex - An Idrian merchant living in the capital city of Hallandren, Lemex serves as the chief spy for King Dedelin.
Seanzie - Blushweaver - The epitome of beauty and often seen in revealing gowns of green and silver, Blushweaver sees herself as the goddess of love and romance. She is determined to see Hallandren improve and takes her role role as a god seriously.
SVS - Vivenna - Firstborn princess of Idris, she was raised and trained to be the bride to the Hallandren God King. In strict adherence to Idrian belief, she garbs herself in simple clothing and maintains a strong control of the Royal Locks, keeping her hair a solid black in color.
Falcon - Tonk Fah - A man of great size, a capable warrior and extremely strong, Tonk Fah serves as a mercenary alongside Denth and Jewels.
Lucy - Denth - An exceptional swordsman dressed in nondescript clothing, Denth is a Mercenary working with Jewels and Tonk Fah.
Nutella - Clod - A Lifeless; a corpse reanimated by breath to serve their master's commands, Clod is a skilled warrior maintained by Jewels.
Pyxxy - Siri - Third born princess of Idris, her role was that of redundancy. With little expected of her, she spent her days ignoring her tutors and pushing boundaries. While she has the Royal Locks, she has very poor control over them.
Sig - Bluefingers - An older man and servant of the God King's palace, Bluefingers earned his nickname as his fingers seem perpetually stained with blue ink.
Srceenplay - “Vasher, a grumpy man in ragged brown clothing. He wields a mysterious black blade.”
Vasher’s win condition will be made known to the player.
Vasher begins the game with 6 breaths and may not give breaths.
Vasher once per game at night may choose give his blade to another player, poisoning them. This power will not qualify as being used if the target is not yeeted by poison in the following end of day cycle.
and Dedelin - The king of Idris, father of Vivenna, Ridger, Fafen, and Siri. In doing what he believes is the best for his kingdom, Dedelin faces an impossible decision that will determine the fate of Idris.
Creature - Llarimar - A tall, portly man with spectacles and a calm demeanor, Llarimar serves as the high priest of Lightsong the Bold.

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Night 4]
Vasher's further secrets and wincon:
The entire premise of the game when I was thinking about it was PR economy. If PRs aren't immediately available, but they have the capacity to exist based on a value how would this work? when I was doing the math for it, the averages equaled to about 1 Civ doctor being made with 1.5 shots and while difficult a single bullet proof wolf being made.
HOWEVER lol, I also expected this game to have a high roll on variance. Civilians had the potential to have 8 doctor shots (while unlikely that's a pretty big number) and wolves had the potential for 2 bullet proofs being made.
Vasher's role somewhat reflected this variance. Had Vasher's bullet proof been used, it would've been a very difficult survivor role, but they have a 2nd life by default. Had the players Vasher voted moved their breaths before they voted there, they would've been stuck in the game longer.
If I were to change anything about the balance, I'd maybe mess with increasing the bulletproofing requirement by 1 and then decrease the doctor requirement by 1 BUT make the cost 2 breaths instead of one. I feel that would've pushed the balance more in the favor of a 4 misyeet game rather than the 3.5 we experienced.
All in all it was very interesting to observe. I feel that there was quite a bit of interesting discussions about mechanics, but not all of them came to light. I had honestly thought Neon was about to bust the game open asking Lucy how many breaths they had left as the drab check mechanics could lead to either revealing that players are lying about their totals or figuring out Vasher messed with the total breaths in play. Curious to see what would've happened had there been more time in the day.
you will absorb a breath from someone assuming you are voting for the flipped player when they are voted over. You may also avoid the 2nd heightening check and appear as a Drab if you desire.
Win condition is to have more breaths in total than the Civilian faction and the Mafia faction individually. If you achieve your win condition, you will be removed from the game.

Re: Cosmere Mafia - Warbreaker - [Night 4]
yea fully recognized there was the possibility for things to snowball in a really bad way for mafia and i think you did a good job erring on the side of caution - always preferable imo to have a scumsided setup over one where scum get locked out by mechanicsDrWilgy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 1:59 pm Vasher's further secrets and wincon:you will absorb a breath from someone assuming you are voting for the flipped player when they are voted over. however i think town didn't really make good use of the mechs. not your fault, just i think not enough people were plugged in enough to make it work
