I think most people are voting me simply for being inactive which is NAI.santygrass wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:54 pm Someone summarize me the cases on Scotty and Creature?
Without seeing anything I think its more likely that Creature is a hit because in my mind they tend to obtown more and have more votes from people of the same community

I was just being semantically pedantic. That's a fine definition. But, like, another way to look at "low-hanging fruit" is "a player who already has heavy momentum working against them."pyxxy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:54 pmOh, maybe I'm misusing the term.
I see LHF as "somone who could be easily (subtext: wrongly) pushed for either low activity or not being online close to a deadline".
LHF behavior can be scummy, ofc.
Scotty is the clear wagon and I can't really find someone else who I feel good about flashwagoning :/ I am trying though! Nate was an option but I do really like his poe post.
GTH, I would maybe go for Mayo? [VOTE: Mayo] aubergine But I'll likely end on Scotty.

It's been a while since I've experienced wolf Sloonei (I think Philosopher II Mafia in December of 2021), but he has always been good at analyzing both sides of a point, and his recent meta suggests he has no trouble doing so as town, and a considerable trouble replicating it well as wolf.SARdoghandler wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:52 pmSo in your experience, NAI for them to be this hedgey? My takes are pretty underbaked tbh, I hope to catch up during the night.
I thought his entry on D0 was off, as I mentioned before. And I haven't seen much today other than what AM's quoted in her questions to him, which he hasn't really done much with. AM has seemed like AM so far so I'm fine sheeping that vote and seeing if anything comes of it. Not much time left though, so.

Re: [DAY 1] Literal WWerecreatures Invade Syndicate Zoo: An SDN Crossover Game
Day One: The Bear Necessities
Things had started out pleasant enough. There were jokes and friendly introductions, a little playful banter, nothing too serious. But when a moose got a little too rowdy and stepped on an alligator’s tail, things started to take a turn. The reptile snapped at her ankles, but he was slow and uncoordinated on land, especially in a crowd. A couple others saw the moose acting skittish and looked at her with suspicion. Everyone was quiet for a moment, contemplating and shooting each other with wary glances. Thinking back on how the moon had looked before dawn. And had they heard some strange howls in the night, or had it been their imaginations?
The scuffle with the moose set off a chain reaction around the watering hole. Soon accusations were being thrown left and right, though the animals were quite pleasant with each other even while stating that one or the other should be…eliminated, whatever that meant. Coyotes yipped at beavers, who preferred to avoid confrontation by slipping beneath the surface of the water. A kangaroo shrugged at a rabbit who was incessantly thumping his feet, raising an alarm that was taken up by his companions. There was so much activity that it was hard to keep things straight. The giraffe pawed the ground and glared in the direction of a tree full of birds, but it was hard for the others to tell exactly which one he was glaring at, and why. It’s difficult to understand the perspective of someone who is so tall, you see. And anyway, no one was really interested in messing with the birds. They had the advantage of air superiority.
No, soon it was a terrestrial mammal that began to draw the most attention. Maybe he’d told too many jokes when everyone else was starting to get serious. Maybe they just didn’t like the creepy way he walked on his hind legs for far longer than was normal for a bear. Whatever the cause, familiar faces and new acquaintances alike were just not amused by his antics. He ran for the trees, even dropping down to use all four legs, but he was not fast enough. A fellow carnivore delivered the killing bite to his throat, crushing his windpipe. But when they all looked closer at the body, they saw no signs of the change they were expecting. He had just been a bear all along.
Re: [DAY 1] Literal WWerecreatures Invade Syndicate Zoo: An SDN Crossover Game
Everyone has received a special broadcast!
- AM asking Neon about Seanzie seems towny, trying to avoid getting tunneled
- Sporty mafia/wolves question
- Marmot leans Dennis wolf as of #524
- falcon indirectly shades Scotty in #540 (while doming Zenge)
- Sporty kinda shady in the early going..?
- Sporty had reservations about the miranda wagon in #558 but never moved off
- Not liking falcon early, trying to bail out of his Zenge push
- Marmot doing a meta search to see if Neon uses "wolf" is interesting
- pyxxy spoilered their vote explanation. Really not sure I like it, #624
- Neon pointed out how hedgy and weird it is
- Zenge's staying spicy
- PSV thinks Sloonei's reaction to the Zenge/falcon thing is weird in #657
- Sloonei's definitely right that Zenge is misrepresenting him tho
- PSV asking Nate why he’s voting Zenge makes sense in context, she was town reading Z at that point
- #698 - PSV downplaying the unpair of her/Sporty is towny, and pyxxy's response kind of is also (sure it could be faked, but wolves often don't bother)
- Zenge is really insistent that Sloonei offer an opinion on his falcon push. Not really thinking w!Zenge draws that much attention to it..? (#722)
- He's kind of being a jerk about it tho
- The Dennis v/v read of Zenge/falcon is really surface-level in #726 (it's also a quote of Zenge/Sloonei)
- AM pushing back on PSV townreading miranda is interesting #733
- PSV asking about the "split" on falcon p15 is interesting
- Does Zenge respond to Sloonei's disinterest in his argument?
- pyxxy role-fishing in #789? 3p stuff is also odd
- Dennis townread on AM is really fluffy in #790 (she's serious)
- falcon points out the pyxxy role fish
- pyxxy thinks falcon is trying to break his meta
- falcon's vote for Nate was basically a naked vote while backing off Zenge
- Does he follow up with Nate at all..?
- I don't really follow #832 by Dennis (pyxxy 3p sus is towny actually for some reason)
- Seanzie thinks falcon is playing weird in #853
- Creature shows up, townreads Dennis based on #832, and naked votes Nate
- Does Zenge follow up on his question to PSV in #872? (wants her opinion on Sloonei asking miranda about how she'll approach the game)
- Seanzie gives Marmot a town lean in #875 and I'm not sure why. The Dennis read..?
- falcon moves to Creature over his vote for Nate, when he himself was voting for Nate
- Zenge is pushing things with falcon and trying to cite other people to do so, strikes me as off.
- mighty seems fine in early posts, actually making reads.
- mayo's question to miranda in #940 seems mildly like piling on.
- Neon picking at falcon's townread of her in #962 looks towny
- dya a little pockety with AM right off the bat
- Slight wolf ping on miranda in #1022 pointing out that Neon made the same point and didn't get suspected for it.
- Zenge puts words in Seanzie's mouth in #1027, "potentially outing"
- Waiting to see if Zenge responds to Seanzie moving his vote to Sloonei
- Sloonei's breakdown of the argument in #1056 looks pretty towny
- SVS seems towny in #1083. Interesting opinion on falcon that they think falcon would have backed off
- Seanzie supported the Scotty wagon without voting there pretty early in #1091
- Zenge weirdly aggro with Sporty right away around #1109
- Scotty reads sort in #1168: Towny - mighty/seanzie/nate/creature/falcon/sloonei/sporty Wolfy - pyxxy/marmot/santy/miranda/dennis
- Sloonei bolstering a town read of genny in #1173 looks good
- SVS "hey me too I also mentioned it" is interesting tho #1175
- Continued defensiveness from miranda in #1179 about the different response to Neon vs her
- Defensiveness from Dennis in #1192
- Sloonei's the 2nd vote on Scotty
- Then supports the idea in #1238 that Creature has a volume tell (but hedges it)
- mayo's Creature vote is in pyxxy's vote count at #1239 but I don't see any vote in thread
- Dennis comes on to defend low posters in #1240 (presumably Creature), but doesn't apply that to miranda (asks about her in the next post)
- falcon accuses Marmot of jumping on bandwagons in #1268 when Marmot hasn't voted..
- SVS pointing out that Sporty keeps asking about Creature in #1299 looks good for SVS
- Sloonei expresses reservations about the Scotty wagon in #1338
- dya's Scotty vote seemed genuine, noticing that Scotty had voted for dennis over pyxxy
- mighty jumping on it is kinda out of nowhere tho
- Sporty would go Scotty over Creature
- pyxxy's "pocketing" stuff still seems weird re: dya/sporty
- Sporty kind of agrees though
- pyxxy's leading question to dya in #1604 is odd (if you say yes I'll townlean you)
- Sporty offering light shade of Santy in #1609 is notable
- Marmot saying Scotty/Santy look partnered is an odd angle to take if they had TMI of Scotty's flip. Could have been justifying a Scotty vote tho, since they moved there shortly after
- pyxxy backing completely off dya could be appease-y (#1657)

Night One
When darkness fell it was clear to see that the moon had reached peak fullness. Some of the animals tried to sleep, but were disturbed by unnatural howls. Others skulked about in the moonlight, attempting to evade detection. The reflection of the night sky shimmered on the surface of the watering hole, smooth as glass, until a disturbance created a chain of ripples, ruining the tranquil image.
Deep below, at the bottom of the pool where the moonlight barely reached, a mantis shrimp clicked its pincers together, deep in thought. Each click of its massive claws created a trail of bubbles that released tiny flashes of light as they popped. It was like a beacon, leading straight to the shrimp’s location. He thought nothing of it - too many other things on his mind. Decisions to make. Mantis shrimp don’t really sleep, you see, so he had a lot of time alone with his thoughts. The hours ticked away as the bubbles continued to dance and flash around him. Pop. Pop. Pop.
When the sun rose, warming the water in small, slow increments, the piranha raised the alarm. The mantis shrimp was gone, with only one huge claw left behind outside of the coral burrow he had called home.
~~~~~
Just when the mantis shrimp was creating his last stream of bubbles, a small, pretty bird was flitting through the trees, trying to get a decent view of the ground below. The moonlight made it a little easier, but she was not adapted for nocturnal activity, and her night vision was poor. Meanwhile she appeared to the other animals as a bright pink ball bouncing from branch to branch, seeming to float on the air. They watched her, marveling at her color. It was unusual for a female of her species, which were supposed to be a more drab brown. Perhaps things would have gone differently for her, had she not been so unique.
Soon after the piranha raised the alarm about the missing shrimp, an elephant started trumpeting near the base of a tree. He pointed with his trunk at the ground, but at first the others could not figure out why he was so upset. The pile of bright pink feathers was so small that they did not see it until they were almost on top of it. Somewhere nearby her mate raised a hoarse, raspy cry that would never be answered again.
~~~~~
Early in the night, the fox met up with a good friend, another canid. They were pretty similar in size and shape, though the fox was a lovely ginger and her friend was more of a blonde. The two spent many nights like this, yipping and bowing at each other, and giggling as they played. They zoomed around the watering hole, and didn’t notice when the bubbles from the mantis shrimp stopped rising to the surface. They also didn’t see the beautiful rosefinch fall from her tree, though their antics brought them quite close by. Soon they grew tired and settled down in companionable silence on the grass, watching the stars overhead. They stayed like this for awhile, just enjoying each other’s company, before they drifted off to sleep.
The fox’s companion was awoken in the morning by the panicked chatter all around her, and she turned to nudge the fox, who was always a late riser. But her friend did not move when she prodded her with a paw, and when the little dog looked closer she saw blood staining her pelt. She started to howl, and the sound of her anguish was worse than the grief of all the others combined.

There are certain SDNers that would never be NKing this game. And frankly it's a rude move.
