One of my favorite host is Nanookthegreatandfearsome. He's one of the first hosts works I saw that I felt spoke to me, on some inarticulable but very real and very visceral level. Which I am aware now is fairly cliche I suppose, but 12 year old me did not care about that and frankly current me only cares enough to note that it doesn't change how his work moves me. His use of auction particularly appeals to me, and perhaps the best (and I think probably most well known, maybe?) example is also my second favorite game of his, Art UPickish. If I remember right the first time I saw a copy of this game I was 11 or 12 and it was the cover of a game at the Syndicate forum mafia website (highly recommend btw), after my parents took us to..I believe a MacDougal exhibit, but it mightve been Dyslexicon? That detail is fuzzy.
