There will be SPOILERS in this game if you haven’t seen the movie. I have taken liberties with some plot lines, but the essence is the same. So...I’d suggest watch the movie before playing, because it’s an amazing movie.
Also note that I have attempted extensive play testing with the balance of this game, and while I think it is as fair as I can make it, it is a role madness type where things can swing wildly depending on choices made. In the spirit of all things transparent, there are elements to this game that some might consider “unconventional”:
-There is vote manipulation tied to role abilities.
-3rd Parties have the opportunity to change alignment in this game, and have been notified as such.
-There are no jesters, no death millers, no resurrections. All lynch reveals will be genuine, with alignment given. Most importantly, host posts and messages directly from me will never lie.
All relevant info will be revealed postgame.

Under other important notes it says 3P can change alignment. It’s kinda buried, I didn’t know it was there till someone else mentioned it.

So then purple would be the 3p, I'd assume. And all green roles are town and not able to be changed.

The difficulty this poses is that no one is chatting, so reactions/distancing/bussing is nonexistant for reading purposes.

I don't think distancing or bussing exists now regardless of how people chat. If there is only one mafia and 7 3p some traditional scum tells won't work. I think a person who knows they're guilty and hunted will act differently than a person who knows they're innocent but the 3p can genuinely hunt 3p or mafia and the mafia can genuinely hunt 3p so there's not the dynamic of scum knowing everything or having partners.

I mean...even not knowing the theme, just a look at the player count and the setup having 1 mafia tells us that the purples either contain threats or they can join the mafia. This is kinda basic stuff. Plus, the mafia is listed as 1+, which Tutuu replied to a post of mine pointing out.

Unless tutuu has a meta history of not reading the rules and it's fully unbelievable town!tutuu would even have known about it

I mean...even not knowing the theme, just a look at the player count and the setup having 1 mafia tells us that the purples either contain threats or they can join the mafia. This is kinda basic stuff. Plus, the mafia is listed as 1+, which Tutuu replied to a post of mine pointing out.

I don't think town Tutuu (or town anyone) guessing that the purples can become mafia is a stretch.

Idk I mean youre making a good point and somebody else just did too that I was too lazy to quote on my phone, but my gut told me something different on my first read through. This is where I'd want to vote if there wasn't already a wagon there, so I'm not going to let that stop me. I think tutuu is either maf or purple.
