Over the last 5-6 games I've played, on different accounts, I find that getting town read is a whole lot easier than people think. Surprisingly easier when I'm mafia too

My trick was acting like a bad player. Many people I've played with over the years used to refer to me as "trash" among other things.

I was always tickled when I'd read "I don't think they are good enough to do that" while they slowly lose to me. Humans will ignore what's right in front of them as long as they have a bias in their mind about you. Mafia is just a long term manipulation of people's perspective.

The only downside to this strat is how much people will shit talk you outside of game and disrespect you.

people have said things but I have seen her play well as a wolf which just confirmed my suspicions but my vote here is not unfounded and Porscha has since quietly left chat with no pushback so I am pretty sure I am right.

I welcome explanations as to why the above six players are town, from not them.

I have a fairly confident town read on Falcon. Part of it was him calling tutuu's meme game off because the pic didn't match her description. That's the kind of nitpicky paranoia I think comes way more often from town. Same with him talking about the details with Kate's vegetable list. Even though that one isn't entirely serious, imo it still shows Falcon cares about looking for things that seem off. I think his willingness to sling mud and engage with the thread also leans towny.

The only one of the others I'm inclined to townlean is Epi, and that's not strong enough for me to really object. I thought his abrasiveness about the setup and comment about ruining the game if we eliminated mafia d1 leaned town. Zenon I have mixed feelings on - I townleaned the same confidence that you got pinged by, but I have paranoia that she doesn't actually care about her reads as much as other games. I don't have a real feel on Pyxxy or Porscha yet, and Michelle could very well be scum. I looked at her ISO and she seems more agreeable and having less fire than I would expect. Like her reaction of doubting your alignment felt tame and noncommittal.

If anyone has cause to disagree with my vote, I would also like to hear why. Not simply that you do, but why. For if you were to say "Guys I think Tutuu is town can you please unvote her." or some variation of that including "why are you voting tutuu she is town", I will roll my eyes and move on with my life.

Tutuu is hyperactively shielding town Mac to the detriment of doing anything else so at worst she is a massively townsiding wolf, more likely just town.

context. Tutuu is 6/21 and she knows it. She wants to not die. She comes calling for to to shield her and you do.

This man is sloth. So are you signalling to her that you are sloth or she is and that you are her best buddy? Either way after this post Tutuu asks to combine with you. So no. I am not moving. Contextually. You are now 3p and tutuu is either mafia or 3p also. Either way. lovely hits for me.

Tutuu had five votes on them, you have one. Tutuu is hard shielding me and wanting to work with me, you are not. That is why I am "shielding" Tutuu and not shielding you. You do not need shielding, and I have zero need to be shielding you.

I politely asked people to unvote Tutuu btw. I am not flailing about madly trying to pull votes off her. I don't think she is a wolf, and if she is, I am going to let her Mac side for now, so I am have zero actual reason not to comply with her wishes to "combine" and attempt to help her here.

Not only all of the above, but Tutuu having 6 votes on her right now is just silly. Tutuu is probably one of the best 3 townies in the game and should be given the opportunity to self resolve or be halfway ruled much like me. This wagon state is actually absurd.

Given this is such an unusual scenario, it does sort of create a unique opportunity to clear people who have been solving as though there is a mafia "team" from at the very least being the starting mafia player.

This day 1 is largely a useless crapshoot though. Like, actually. The chance of us hitting the single mafia is obscenely low, notwithstanding probably mechanically impossible cuz if we could end the game chopping the mafia day 1 the game would be broken so Scotty has probably given them a 1 shot lpv or something.
