Considering dissociating these two just for this (if I assume Rico to be mafia for the sake of the exercise, this looks like TMI instead of protection). It's only one post, but I have a feeling I am going to have to barrel-scrape for some of these analyses.Ricochet wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 2:54 pmdie_meatbaby wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 8:00 pm Vote Scotty
I am not happy with the 2 options right now for voting on Vivax or scotty.
I know how vivax is playing es mafia. I played with him when he was mafia and also were reading old games from him as m, but here he don´t write or act like mafia, so i wouldn´t vote on him atm. Vivax don´t think you are save from me i will think about every future post you make in every possible way...
Scotty looks like strong gamer. We could lose strong Town or bad mafia. I still see him more as townie than mafia![]()

Maybe a dumb read, but I'm not sure falcon cliff notes his mafia teammate's case like this. I won't act on that assumption, because who the hell knows. It's a gut read.

Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 3]
This bit between Seanzie and falcon doesn't look teamed. If I assume falcon to be mafia, then his initial reception of Seanzie looks more like a pocket (as Martin also suggested in that quote tree), and Seanzie's response is indignant and separated.

Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 3]
falcon more or less fits with everyone outside Martin and Seanzie. Again that might be a reflection of his activity level. It's still important to note though since the other players being assessed relative to [insert lower-posting player here] generally have more posts and more opportunities to leave an impression.

Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 3]
I've covered about half the cells in the associations chart. I have fewer dissociations than I would like so far, and I really hope that changes once I get into more players with more volume. If we cannot isolate teammates (and/or non-teammates) now, it's going to be very hard to win the game given where the numbers likely sit.
I will continue in a bit. If there are questions or arguments, please air them so that I can address them as I work.

Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 3]
It may be clearer when I post the chart. Assessing two-way associations can help to build a more complete theory of the game (e.g., complete or partial team theories) or more commonly clear players that didn't seem clear before (because they fit with nearly nobody else). With a pile of dead civilians and no mafia, I think it becomes critical to work with more than just individual theories and hope they pan out -- so I am looking for a more holistic view.
It doesn't always work out, but it's best I've got right now.

Not sure how much you can make out of EOD2 which resorted to a coordinated lynch, with odds of a vengeful hit on wolf.
Counter-wagon also town.
It's at the very least possible wolves stayed off or didn't jump (or didn't jump late) on the Creature wagon or didn't prove too shifty in their vote intention.
You voted late and outside wagons. Why?

I missed out on half the items.
Well isn't this grand.
If you wouldn't wagon me for one 8am catchup post that took an hour to write and had the "it's a sprawling catchup post you guys" disclaimer right in the first paragraph and had some (less or more minor) impressions out of which I never intended or claimed or beat my chest to obtain and provied full reads but you so demanded at every step that I was supposed to have obtained and provided full reads and if two-three players wouldn't have jumped on your wagon each time, with even less substantiated demands than yours (or just sheeping you), I wouldn't be a wagon every day.
What's this association thingy you are trying to do? It's Day 3 and there is no mafia/3p flip, what's to associate?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Jul 16, 2023 8:00 pm I’m gonna review every single association left in this game

My attempt to townread Wilg and get Jjj involved in that failed. Jjj had no interest to reconsider Wilg.

Lime was also a viable CW up until close to EoD. You don't see Creature as a possible Lime!Save?Ricochet wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 4:32 am Not sure how much you can make out of EOD2 which resorted to a coordinated lynch, with odds of a vengeful hit on wolf.
Counter-wagon also town.
It's at the very least possible wolves stayed off or didn't jump (or didn't jump late) on the Creature wagon or didn't prove too shifty in their vote intention.
You voted late and outside wagons. Why?

How do you feel about Lime Coke?Belzy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 4:37 amCreature's eod2 was extremely town, Wilgy's too. Ppl didn't decide to go elsewhere instead, that includes jjj. Imo we should have cfd elsewhere. What made you okay w/lynching Wilg and Creature?Seanzie wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 5:34 pm It's worth noting that Lime is actually at 5 votes right now even though it doesn't look like it in the poll. Moto is a double-voter and Lime has 1 hunger vote from D1.
If things don't change before EoD, I'll probably move to Creature since that's a better flip than Lime IMO. I'd also support a Wilgy wagon.
Your vote on Wilg. Could you elobarate that and your eod2?

Not my preferred lynch. Would you lynch there?Seanzie wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 8:26 amHow do you feel about Lime Coke?Belzy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 4:37 amCreature's eod2 was extremely town, Wilgy's too. Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 3]
He has reminded me a lot of the CindyKate/Percy game in terms of the legwork running ISOs, and now the associative thing (even though it does seem a bit sparse, but that might be because of doing lower posters first). I was heavily suspicious of Jay and found him very agenda-y in Halvorsen ridge when he was scum, and I haven't gotten the same vibes as now. However, the fact that we do feel pretty far off base does not bode well for him, and also I am a little concerned I am being kept alive in order to slightly mitigate a "why is Jay still alive" push ("Why is Seanzie still alive too?" can really defuse that), especially with Tutuu dying, who was pretty strongly saying that if Jay doesn't bag a wolf by D4 they should be flipped (which honestly, I agree with). Still, probably more a town-lean than not, but he is compatible with Rico so... meh. Still want Rico first.
